I came to this winery this past Sunday. The food was very good. We had several dishes from the menu due to my party being that of 8 people. Everyone in my party liked the food. The service was good as well. Staff checked up on us every 5 minutes, which was good because it wasn't intrusive. The ambiance was good. We went when it was 95 degrees outside, but we were under shade on the second floor. My brother in law was very impressed and purchased a membership there. Good spot. This winery is a prime example of people who take things too far. I went to a wedding at this winery, and I did not sign any release forms or any of such things. I happen to take photos of me and my friends at the winery during the wedding, and now the winery is re-posting all of my photos without any permission. They are also a posting photos of me that I took at the wedding, as if a promotion of some sort that I am making a statement to support the winery, and they have never asked me any such things, or ask for my permission. They've also re-posted other photos that I took, again as if I was promoting their winery, or somehow that they were able to use my photo to promote their winery on social media without any permission. I've reported all of these to IG And have reached out to the winery, but yet these photos still remain up. Not only that, their wedding account has also re-post the photos that I took of my friends wedding, explicitly without my permission, without asking, and probably did not get my friends permission either. I don't recommend that you support this winery because they clearly like to infringe upon copyrights and don't really care. read more

We went on the Fazeli tour, I liked all of the wine except their flagship red. Tour was more about the winery than wine tasting and wine. Was not impressed with final red tasting where they went to get each bottle individually, should have brought all out on a cart at once. Huge tasting room Persian influence Boland Rooz - Sauvignon Blanc Very good, light, fruity Ruby rose rose'. Nice, flavorful Ruby rose sweet rose - sweeter. Still very good and fruitful Chardonnay- vanilla notes. A little oaky very good. Mehregan - Grenache Smooth spicy. Fruit forward medium body Phel phel. Not impressed. A little peppery. No my favorite Montepulciano. Good bold red. a little better than the Shiraz Shiraz - good fruit flavor. Bold red. Hafez fruity tannic good with Brie and fig jam Ferdowsi. Let aerate. Smooth, less tannic when it sits. Newly opened is tannic and tight. Very fruity. I am considering joining their wine club, make the visit to this beautiful winery. You won't regret it! read more

So I ran into a strainge set of rules. If you have a wine tasting at the bar, you can not have food. You have to get a table to get food but can not have a tasting. We had to bounce from our table to the bar (less than 4 feet away) to eat and drink. I wish they would have told us when we ordered instead of when it showed up. When asked why, we were told that's the rules. We won't be coming back Update: The manager clarified his policy. We both said the same thing. There is no food at the bar and no tasting aloud at the table. Get a glass or bottle with food, and you're fine. If indead the tables are less then 2 feet---why couldn't they walk the 2 feet when we were the only 2 people in the who place? Because it's the rules! read more

My husband and I arrived at 3:30pm on Saturday and opted to do the wine tasting for $25 per person. When he went up to get our next tastings a little before 5pm, he was told they were going to close up soon but that we could go downstairs. The employee said he would give him doubles but I still had 4 tastings on my card so I knew we didn't get our monies worth but he kept our cards so there would be no way for me to really confirm. I know in my gut that we didn't get our moneys worth. I learned my lesson and will make sure to ask what time they close and then make a better decision on whether or not we do tasting vs buying a glass of wine. It would also be nice if they had signs on the bar showcasing the time they stop serving- I feel like our $50 was robbed from us and won't return to this winery. read more

The Mrs. and I stopped by Fazeli Cellars in what was the last of two wineries we visited last Sunday. Driving up to Fazeli is an experience. Three very large imposing building doe the hillside amongst the vineyards. The tasting room being at the highest point on the hill. It was still raining when we arrived, but we were lucky enough to find a parking spot close tot he tasting room. We made out way down the portico towards the tasting room and came to s sign that said Ruby Lounge and made a right. Assuming it was the tasting room. Sarah, the hostess, informed us that only there were no tastings, just glasses being poured. We were fine with that an plotted ourselves down on a large sofa next to the fireplace. I was kinda puzzled that there was only one other family tasting, but then again, it was pouring down rain outside so we figured that might have kept people away. Sarah approached us and asked for my name. I told her we didn't have a reservation. She asked if we were wine club members and I told her no. Apparently, we were in the wine club member area. We apologized and were getting ready to leave and then she told us just to stay because they weren't that busy and we looked comfortable and she set up a tasting for us. I let her choose the wines we were tasting. The wines we had were really good. Sarah explained the background of the winery owner and how Shiraz is blended into every wine. Food can also be ordered to enjoy with your wine. Sadly, we didn't try it, but the food menu looked pretty extensive and what we saw coming out of the kitchen looked really good. Sadly, the brunch wasn't much. The service was very slow. The outdoor dining has a view of the parking lot. We had a noon reservation and were told their two most popular brunch items were sold out. I ordered eggs Benedict that were served with a radioactive green hollandaise sauce. My daughter had a salad literally drowned in dressing. And my friends had burgers that were undercooked. My girlfriend's and I recently enjoyed a day of wine tasting in Temecula. We honestly only ended up at Fazeli Cellars because they had a wine tasting Groupon. After some research we decided to go ahead and eat lunch there as well, since their Mediterranean style café seemed to have some pretty great reviews. I knew from online photos that this would be a beautiful midway point for our day, but even then I was stunned at the picturesque view from the dining patio. The wine tasting and dining are on the second story of the building, which overlook the expansive vineyard, all the way to the rolling mountain backdrop. It honestly could not have been more beautiful. I opted to try the Roasted Vegetable Curry: broccoli, carrot, zucchini & Cauliflower served in a coconut curry sauce over basmati rice, finished with lemon oil & micro greens. My veggies came out cooked to perfection and the flavor of the curry was spot on. There was so much rice that I only ate about 2/3 of my plate, which was nice due to the $15 price tag. Of the 6 tastings, I ended up loving the 2015 Shirin, which is surprising since I am definitely a White Wine girl. This sweet red is listed as having raspberry & blackberry met with vanilla & graham cracker. Brought my husband and nieces to comedy night and we had the BEST time ever! I loved watching my husband laugh, we all had a great time. They had a flights and bites menu, we ordered a lot thinking it would be appetizer sizes and we were so wrong...it was fully plated meals. I won't complain because everything we ordered was DELICIOUS! We also ordered a Margarita flight...yummmmmm!!! Our server Gabe was the best and the owner Romy was so welcoming and friendly! One great winery, Not to be missed. One of the best wineries in Temecula, this winery has a wide variety of well crafted white and red wines that are made with pride. This is a winery that will ruin you and raise the bar on expectations when you try other wineries. If you consider yourself a connoisseur of wines then this is a place not to be missed. Their membership comes with some swanky perks for example, invites to the masquerade party and a members only area that is secluded from the regular wine tasters. I visited Fazeli with an extremely large group of friends for my birthday and we all enjoyed our time. The patio had plenty of seating with heaters to keep us warm. We ordered food with a few bottles of wine and were impressed by the flat breads and Persian tacos. We all really enjoyed the baba Joon wine and some of the other selections suggested to us. We ended our day of wine tasting here for dessert wines and dinner. The winery itself is a stunning estate. I'd like to try more of their wines on a future visit but the dessert wines were delicious. I liked splitting the tasting because I thought one sweet tasting would be too much for sugar for me. Baba Joon's kitchen - the walnut appetizer and the dolma were divine. The warm walnut creamy dip with the pita really hit the spot. Personally, the hummus wasn't creamy enough for us but it was still a good appetizer. The wine was great. The food was awful. We visited on a Thursday and pretty much had the place to ourselves. The space is beautiful and it has great views. The woman who helped us was very friendly and helpful. She's the main reason for the 3 stars. We had a late lunch. Ordered the kabobs. Biggest question is, why does Fazeli offer a full bar if 1 out of the 2 bartenders has no idea what they're doing? A group of friends and I were here on the evening of Saturday, March 16. The venue is beautiful, the live entertainer they had was fantastic, food and wine were pretty good. However, a couple of friends decided to get beer and cocktails instead of wine, and their drink order took over 20 minutes because one of the bartenders couldn't even make a staple drink. My friend had to walk her through the whole process as she assured, "I promise I'm a bartender." They also ran out of beer glasses, so the bartender offered plastic cups that were nowhere close to the original beer size. My friend overpaid for the beer just to finish this transaction. His food made it back to the table before he did. The other bartender was incredible, hard working, sweating up a storm just to get people drinks in a timely manner. Unfortunately he was working his butt off because the patrons knew the other person couldn't deliver. What a shame. It put a little damper on our evening. I think this was a one-and-done experience, considering there are so many wineries in the area. Just know it might be a gamble on that full bar. read more

I don't recall the exact details of the membership but it's a good deal, I want to say you are required to purchase a bottle every two months and you get 8 free glasses of wine a month, max 2 per person a visit - please check with the business to confirm (lol)! Beautiful views and grounds, nice outdoor seating area for the restaurant, and nice club members bar and patio. Good wine. Food was OK. Surprised there wasn't more vegan options, and was unimpressed with the hummus, which was pretty bland. Service was OK, nothing spectacular or horrifying. We had a reservation for a tasting at Fazeli for some tastings. The property is absolutely stunning! We all had the priority wine pass, but apparently they do not honor the pass, even though it says they do in the priority wine pass website. We also called ahead to confirm the "buy one tasting and get one tasting free" from the priority wine pass website and they had confirmed it. So when we got there, we were a little disappointed to find out we had been given wrong information. They did mentioned they have something else on Groupon, so that is something you can look into if you're interested in visiting Fazeli! read more

Went to a Labor Day event at Fazeli yesterday. The drinks were $20 each!!!!! So I got a Seltzer for $12. Went back for a second Seltzer and the the second bar tender who had been taking orders all night tried to charge me $20 for the Seltzer!!! He clearly knew the price and when I called him out he didn't even apologize! I assume this guy did this to others as well to try and make some money on the side. He was rude whe he got caught. I'd like the owners of the winery to know who works for them. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. And $20 for a mixed drink in a plastic cup!!!!!! Nope. read more

I think this place sucks and seemed to be for people that are snobbish and rude. I was invited to celebrate my friends birthday at this location and that was a BIG MISTAKE. The staff seemed both uninterested and bothered by our happy group from the moment we arrived. Imagine arriving in a party bus to celebrate and drink wine and instead you arrive at a funeral. The manager had the absolute worst attitude that I have ever experienced. I am surprised the owner would let her manage this place. It's no wonder this is the only winery in Temecula that was empty. The manager had the nerve to ask my friend to leave on her birthday without any warning at all or any option to fix the issue. She looked unhappy and we were all happy and that is the only absolute about this place. She gave us an excuse that were were too loud and disruptive but that's what people do when they arrive in a group to celebrate a birthday, they have fun. Really enjoyed the food and wine here. Lack of view due to the screens being down to block out sunlight. There were multiple other areas of the restaurant/ winery that were closed off and so we were confined to a table the entire time and they brought wine flights over but never explained anything to us.. we kind of just figured it out as we went. We came for a relaxing experience and the table in front of us had at least 8 people or so and they had just left what seemed like a graduation as one chick was wearing a cap and gown and they were wasted and so loud and it was so not ideal for the scene. I wish that the server or manager would have realized the disturbances and asked them to be respectful of the environment.. I would come back for the food and wine. Atmosphere was extremely lacking and there was a strong breeze so I would say get some heaters.. and the hours reflect an early close so I would ask that maybe you extend your hours ? I wish there was more of a tour or explanation or interactive anything it was more like a restaurant than a "winery". Like I said they really have the food and wine going for them.. however not all were my favorite. I did leave with a mayhem and a babajoon. I recommend the family platter. I have been a member at their neighboring winery for many, many years. I remember this place being built and always wanted to stop by but we never got a chance. Finally this weekend I came with my friend. We had lunch and a tasting and loved it so much that I joined! This place is beautiful and MASSIVE. I know that a lot of wineries have that going for them, but the wines suck. Not here. I loved their Rose and almost all of the reds I tried. They primarily make red blends, but they do them right. For lunch my friend and I had the Gyro Flatbread and Dolma. Since we were standing at the bar tasting, and they weren't terribly busy, they brought a table to the bar so we could eat and continue tasting with no hassle. The food was AMAZING. I can't even describe how perfect the flatbread was. Thin, crisp, chewy, with the most amazing toppings. We were in love with our lunch. Barb was serving us and she was great. So personable and helpful. Once I decided to join the wine club she took us on a tour of the property, which I have never had anybody do at any winery I have ever joined. They have 3 areas for members and you can make reservations, which I thought was awesome. Their land is gorgeous, their gardens are great, and all the architecture is fantastic. I am really glad that I joined here and I look forward to returning. Every single person who we interacted with was friendly and upbeat, with Barb being the best of the bunch!
