Delicious! Stopped by for dinner after seeing the pictures of the hummus and it didn't disappoint! I was ready to lick the plate clean. Had the lamb gyro which was also very tasty. The chef/owner came out at the end to see how we enjoyed the meal and if we were happy, to which I joked I'd be happy if I had more hummus! Updated review - After traveling to Fattoush only to find them closed for a private party, I made a reservation this time on Open Table then called to confirm that they would be open. My wife, daughter, and I were seated promptly by the friendliest woman who served both as the hostess and waitress (it was a slow night). We started with the hummus plate, which included three falafel. It was delicious! Would have loved a couple more falafel but it was a hummus plate after all. The plate was cleaned. We had a shawarma craving and all three of us ordered the beef shawarma. It was delicious and packed with flavor. Sides were equally pleasing, especially my fattoush. My wife had half of hers shawarma sandwich left and had it boxed up. When the waitress brought the boxed up contents, she confided that the dinner had told her it wanted to go home with us. Desserts selection was somewhat limited, but the two we ordered were quite nice. Our waitress even brought a third dessert on the house that she hadn't listed. It was a welcome treat and was actually our favorite. Fattoush is a great value - $50 for three people including appetizers, dinner, and dessert. PHENOMENAL! We made an 8:30 reservation and were running late, we called to say we were going to be there 10 mins later. We felt bad because they close at 9, but the woman who answered the phone told us no worries come on in. We arrived 7 mins before 9 and were greeted warmly and welcomed. She insisted we sit and dine in as we offered to take our food to go. We had the MOST amazing meal. Everything was made to order and FRESH as can be. The owner was there and came over to say hello, super nice guy. We could not stop eating close to cleaned our plates and took the baklava to go. This is some of the best Mediterranean food I've had in the area! The owner was an absolute doll who checked on us just the right amount of times with a lovely sense of humor and a very polite manner. The sampler was made up of fresh, delicious citrusy hummus and baba ganoush that is made in house! Our table ordered a wrap, a chicken gyro and the chicken bistro. Upon entering was greeted by a friendly staff member, all before sitting down. My friend and I ordered the veggie platter, side of falafel, and side of grape leaves. I believe in order to tell if a Mediterranean restaurant is of a higher tier, one must try a restaurant's grape leaves, hummus, falafel, and baba ganoush, and that's exactly what we did. The falafel was spiced perfectly with not being under or overly salty, and had a lot of flavor throughout. They seemed to have mastered the art of making them with the perfect moisture level as well. The grape leaves tasted fresh and great. My friend had the baba ganoush and she was a big fan although she was new to baba ganoush and it was her first time trying it. I didn't try it as it contained yogurt which i don't eat. Finally the hummus was what sealed the deal on this review, it was incredibly creamy and delightful to our palates. Chose this restaurant because one of our group is gluten free. Excellent choice! They easily accommodated her needs. The hummus was delicious and the grape leaves were amazing. All of us were well satisfied with our meals. They were happy to go a couple of substitutions as well. The chicken shawarma, lamb platter, and lamb gyro were great. It was a delicious meal from the amazing mediterranean sampler appetizer to the delicate baklava we enjoyed for dessert. It was quite apparent that the owners take much pride in the quality and presentation of the food. The authenticity of the dishes did not go unnoticed. My husband and I have traveled throughout the Middle East and I must say that Fattoush's shwarma is absolutely the best we've had in the States... and we used to live in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn (massive Arab population) so that is really saying something. We visit for lunch once or twice a month. Sometimes the shwarma is a little dry so don't be afraid to ask for tahini sauce or toum (garlic sauce), but even then the meat is still well seasoned and flavorful. I adore the baba ghanouj and the hummus is delicious as well. The owner and the hostess are very friendly and always accommodating. (Not sure if there are other staff as we always go super early because we have a baby.) I took off one star because the ambience leaves something to be desired. It's not terrible, but it's very stark and certainly doesn't speak to this place's potential. FYI They don't advertise it, but they also cater and I'm excited to use them for an upcoming party. read more

Very good place with authentic food. We enjoyed the stuffed grape leaves which were warm and flavorful. We had falafel which came with 6 large pieces crispy outside and deliciously warm and evenly flavored inside. Chicken kabobs, lamb gyro and Greek salad rounded out the meal. Food was below average, waitress was ok but not having menu knowledge, tons of spices that don't may the authentic recipe, asked for dessert (baklava) they were out and rice pudding will take 20 min to be ready coz it's still in the oven, wow great professional response. The decor is minimalist and tasteful. Being Lebanese myself, I know what good Lebanese food should taste like, and this is the real deal (owner is from Lebanon).
