Had the lamb Kofte, and Baba Ganoush. Very tasty! The ambience and decor is amazing. The restaurant was warm inside. Service was good.

The wife & I stopped in for the first time for HH which runs 2 pm to 6 pm. We just had lunch & wanted to try their interesting cocktails. Mike was the initial bartender & he's fantastic! So knowledgeable & passionate- he really cares about your experience. Emily (I'm guessing manager?? Definitely running thangs) was SUPER nice & gracious & Kate, our final bartender (shift change) was equally amazing. We had fantastic cocktails, & get the Turkish hummus- delish. Never had hot hummus before, I'm in love. Everyone was generous- we got comped stuff, I mean...I felt like they WANTED us there & they WANTED us to be HAPPY. & apparently, they LIKE their jobs! This is so lacking in customer service these days, I'm tired of spending my money in a place that treats me as if they couldn't care less about my experience. Bottom line: Dizengoff- take my money! Can't wait to go back!!

Usually a busy spot during dinner time, was able to stop in during their happy hour. Happy hour has some good $10 hummus and $10 cocktails which is good to try out some new things. Menu is not that extensive so check it out before stopping in to see if there is anything you are interested in. The atmosphere is a bit industrial and rushed. Had the Greek salad with chicken schnitzel added. Pretty good greens with lots of added feta, and the dressing matched nicely. The chicken schnitzel had a good crisp fry on it. Also had an arak midori cocktail which had a good flavor. Overall pretty nice, thanks.

Found my new favorite restaurant in Philly! The food is AMAZING and the staff are super friendly. The quiet atmosphere makes this place a perfect setting for a date night.

I was craving pita and hummus and this place just hits the spot. I was a bit disappointed that they don't have a hummus platter for me to try out different flavors. The two that I ordered are really good. They are both very smooth and creamy. One has beef and pine nuts that add more flavors. The other one is served hot and it has a really unique taste that I like. Though it can feel a bit too much if you eat a lot. I wish the garlic flavor is spread across more evenly. I'm not a big fan of the shakshuka since I don't like the pepper taste. The place xan get pretty crowded during peak hours so reserve if you can.

We met an old friend here this past weekend on a whirlwind trip to Philadelphia. It was a very pleasant meal, with a couple hiccups in the experience. The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived. The rather joyless host took us to our table, but a minute later a much more cheerful server greeted us and introduced us to the menu. As luck would have it, our reservation during their weekend brunch service, so we ordered items off that menu. We started with their traditional hummus tehina. It was good but not memorable, though the pita bread was soft and fluffy. For our individual meals we ordered: Israeli breakfast - a za'atar omelet with salad, olives, and pita. Served with labneh and a spicy schug sauce, this was quite good Malawach egg-in-the-hole - flatbread topped with two fried eggs, schug, resek, and Bulgarian feta - maybe a little too much feta. This was also very good, but very salty with all that cheese on top. The eggs were kind of lost in the mix. The schug worked really well with the dish, but I had to use it sparingly because it was rather spicy. Shakshuka - traditional eggs in a tomato stew. I did not sample this, but it was well-liked by the person who ordered it. The only major issue with our meal is that while the Israeli breakfast and the Malawach came out fairly quickly, there was a very, very long interval between the arrival of those and the shakshuka. It was at least 15 minutes, probably even longer. Our server did apologize, but still it made for an asymmetric dining experience. Prices were quite reasonable; a similar meal back home probably would be at least 20% more expensive. The atmosphere was lively but not so loud as to make it hard to have a conversation. It was an enjoyable meal, service issue notwithstanding.

Good food. We loved the French fries. The chicken was well seasoned but extremely too salt for us. The hummus was good and smooth. Wish they offered more pita in our hummus order, you only get one piece. If you want more pita, they charge $1 per pita.

Dizengoff continues to be a solid option for hummus and drinks. They have converted to a full restaurant with bar. Service is good. That being said, I would only stick with hummus. Lamb meatballs were slightly on the rare end. Hummus continues to be great.

The service was phenomenal. Our server, Lindsay had a wonderful personality and suggested amazing dishes. This place is clean, well lit, and has great seating. The food: That butter hummus was the BOMB! The Ceasar salad was so tasty and fresh and the egg added a nice touch. Them French fries were the best I've ever had. So thick and crunchy and the harissa sauce to dip in was such a tasty combo. The chicken was sooooo juicy and delicious and paired well with the green sauce and rice. Lastly, that Turkish coffee Espresso Martini was delicious. Top 5 best espresso martini's I've ever had. 10/10 and cannot wait to go back.

They had some delicious hummus and shakshuka. The Turkish coffee was rather light however. Would recomme the food though!

FAST REVIEW: Food: 9/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Service: 2/10 :( Tips: Get a reservation in advance. Limited st parking. Manager was professional and handled our concern well (see below) The food at Dizengoff was outstanding--some of the best I've had in Philly. The baba ghanoush was rich and flavorful, the lamb platter was fantastic, and the chicken was so good I didn't even stop to take a picture. The pita could've been a bit softer, but was still well-baked overall. However, I'm giving three stars due to the service. Our waitress started off attentive but disappeared for over *30* minutes after serving the food. We weren't checked on, offered dessert, or given the bill until we flagged another staff member. It seemed like our table was forgotten, despite the restaurant not being busy. The manager did handle the situation professionally and apologized which we appreciated. We of course gave a nice tip to the waitress given that she did provide good service in the beginning, but the wait and inconsistency of her service was not acceptable. NOTE: I don't believe in nitpicking or complaining unnecessarily--I've worked in the service industry myself and deeply respect the challenges of the job. That said, I also believe that when you're paying for a full dining experience, especially at a place that includes gratuity, it's fair to expect at least a baseline level of service. This review is not meant to shame, but to share an honest experience with respect and fairness.

I absolutely love Dizengoff. It's now my favorite restaurant in Philly. David, the GM, and Kate, the bar tender were unbelievable. Made me feel like a local. This food is like what you get in Israel. Can't wait to get back here.

All I can say is "Wow!" Selected as a last minute lunch reservation, Dizengoff exceeded my expectations beyond words. I was shocked that such a casual setting would result in some of the best food items I've ever consumed! Laser Wolf Brooklyn is on my husband's "Top 5 Best Restaurants in the World" list, so I can't wait to visit with him during our next trip to Philly. Hot hummus? A MUST The sparking wine? Great You can never go wrong in choosing Dorade when it's on the menu!

Don't get me wrong, I love Giant, but this is not Giant. They get three stars from me because the store is very nice and has the perfect selection if you are looking to impress your grad school friends with a "fancy" wine and cheese night. They also participate in Sushi Wednesday (which is almost worth 4 stars on its own). The big Giant in Fitler Square was flooded out so I decided to make the trek to this location on a Wednesday just for Sushi. It seemed very popular. There was a line for self-checkout (the only checkout I saw) and it was hard to move down the aisles because it was so crowded. They have a MASSIVE beer and wine selection. I imagine this is the best place to find that particular IPA or Cote du Rhone your girlfriend wants. Check this place out but be prepared for them not to have what you want, at least not the right brand. I will say the produce selection was big and seemed fresh. PRO: SUSHI WEDNESDAY
