Best Ribs in Seattle. I've been to a lot of other BBQ places in Seattle that described their ribs as "fall off the bone tender" and this is the first place that delivered on tender ribs. That along with balanced smoke made these the Ribs I will rave about. if you need a comparison to a region of BBQ I think they're closest to a Kansas City style of BBQ. I've been a couple times since first going this month and the service has been quick and friendly. If you've seen this place and haven't been then you're missing out. read more

I LIVE this place! The ribs are fantastic, but even if they weren't, I'd probably love everything about The Fat Pig, because the owner, Bao, is one of the most delightful persons I've known. My hubs loves the pulled pork sandwich and the beans. The cornbread is off-the-charts - though I cannot eat it because I don't do well with whole corn - but 20 years ago, I'd have been raving about it. Thank you, Bao, for needing more to keep you occupied in retirement and opening this great little place. read more

The food is really good and they have a friendly staff there. The restaurant itself does not look great but the food makes up for it. read more

Fat Pig BBQ - Pulled Pork Sandwich - Barbeque Near Me - Edmonds, Washington

Hiden gem! Fair prices. Parking ok. Friendly service. Ordered half rack of ribs, pulled pork sandwich. Ribs were tender, meaty, and just the right amount of smokiness. Pulled pork was double meat, very tender and full of flavor. I'll be back! read more

This BBQ was so good!! We are not from the area but we were craving BBQ so we decided to check this spot out. This place is a small mom and pop restaurant but don't be fooled.. this spot is delicious from the bbq sauce to the "fall off the bone" pork ribs. The service was so good, the owner even Introduced himself to my wife and I and asked us if he could get us anything else. He was a very polite and humble business owner who cares a lot about his customers experience. The beans were delicious as well, they had a chili like flavor. If we lived in Seattle we would eat here on the regular. read more

Been driving by Fat Pig BBQ for a long time. Finally got a chance and wander in and try this out. I met the owner Bao, he's very nice. He share a pulled pork sandwich and beans with us for free just so we could try it. Best pulled pork sandwich and beans I've ever had. Cozy little dining area and friendly recognizable local faces make me think this could become an extremely popular local hangout. read more

I come here regularly for takeout and the staff is always wonderful and the food is always delicious. Highly recommend.

I love BBQ! I found this shop from a friend who knows the owners very well. We went for dinner and found the service to be quick, efficient and excellent. We ordered the rib meal which came with beans, cole slaw and a roll. The ribs were excellent! This place uses a better quality of meat, which makes the ribs very tender, juicy. Best of all, the meat is not over smoked. A lot of BBQ places tend to over smoke their meat not allowing you to enjoy the flavor of the meat. The beans were very good and was made with meat rather than just beans and sauce. The cole slaw was fresh, crunchy and had the right amount of vinegar. Why only 4 stars? No brisket. All BBQ shops need to have brisket round out the menu. Overall a great BBQ place and I highly recommend it! read more

My go to bbq joint. Ribs are meaty and juicy. Sauce is perfectly balanced. Staff friendly. Worth the drive to Perrinville.

I love Bao, the owner and how he runs his business. One of the most likable owners I've come across at any establishment. Service is great and of course the BBQ is great. I didn't realize but the ribs here are my favorite ribs anywhere. Keep up the great work and quality. read more

Good food Very small place No atmosphere But good ribs Don't expect much People are very nice read more

I really enjoyed this place. I was starving and new to the area. Saw Fat Pig was open and made a beeline for lunch. Was lucky to have the smiling owner, Bao help me. Ordered the small chicken plate, with corn on the cob, potato salad, baked beans and cornbread. I throughly enjoyed each side, rare to find a place where each item is superb. The chicken was a generous thigh and wing. Rather than a heavy hand with the bbq sauce, this chicken had a coating of sauce baked into it. It did not need the boost of any additional sauce. Cornbread was a big slice, homemade with bits of corn through out and a great soft texture. Corn on the cob was grilled and added to the corn taste. Potato salad was one of my favorites. So hard to find great kind. This had chunks of potato and a tasty dressing. So good, would come back just for this. Beans were good and smoky tasting. The owner had several customers come in, who seemed to be regulars. They ordered food and chatted with the owner. Leaving, Bao thanked me and said he hoped I would come back. What a nice experience and great food. I most certainly will come back. read more

Delicious pulled pork sandwich at a reasonable price. I am hungry just thinking about having some barbecue.

Great BBQ pork and ribs the price is right and the service is fast and friendly l also like their potatoe salad

After leaving the Lynndale Dog Park, I asked Cody to go left of the park since I wanted to see what was in the area since I had never been. We live less than 10 min from this area, so I wanted to scope it out for potential outings. Well out of the corner of my eye I caught sight of the smoker out front and made Cody turn around so we could grab dinner from Fat Pig! Cody said he had the place bookmarked due to it's cheap BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich. Once we got inside we opted to try something else though, so we will be back for the sandwich! We ordered: - Full rack of ribs - BBQ Baked Beans - Corn bread - Came out to under $30 for everything We took the food home to eat. The ambiance of the place isn't really cozy, feels more of a "take your food to go" kinda spot. You order at the counter. No one was dining in when we showed up around 6:00 pm. The other 2 people in there besides us were also getting take out. The ribs were delicious! Huge portion I thought for $19.50. Cody and I split the ribs. He enjoyed them as well. Baked beans and cornbread were not mind-blowing, but just as tasty. The order also came with 3 dinner rolls. Overall, I would say it's a great place to swing by if you are feeling BBQ and need take out. read more

The best BBQ in town and the owner and staff are always so friendly. Great little neighborhood spot.

Small restaurant in Edmond on the way to the ferry; I went on this road many times but didnt realize. But hey thanks to Groupon. Ribs were moist and delicious. The meat easily felt off the bone and the bone itself was so soft; I could bite into it. Baked beans was fine nothing special, I ate right aways and it was not hot enough. Customer service was so friendly. They checked back if I enjoyed the food as well. There is one thing I hope they carry beef in future or sausage and mac&cheese. For $10 total it was cheap feeding 2 adults. read more

The small quaint table area was very cold. I ordered a small rib dinner which came with beans and cold slaw and dinner roll. Ribs were tender but warm. By the time I got to the theirs rib is was like warm at best. Beans were tasty but no better. Coleslaw was ok. Friendly staff. Overall disappointing. read more

My husband found this place and we became regulars instantly! Best ribs pulled pork sandwiches, and BBQ chicken. They also have cornbread, coleslaw and baked beans. Is your mouth watering yet? Covid19 has really slowed this great little place down. Which makes me sad. They still have take-out, so please give them a try. I love supporting our local small businesses, and would hate to see this gem go away. Bao, the owner has remembered my name from day one and still does. He even asks how my husband is doing. You don't see that kind of customer service very often. read more

In response to the owner's comment: It is fair to give a one star review to a place that says it's bbq when it's clearly not. It's just grilled. Just because you put spices and bbq sauce on it doesn't make it bbq. If your business was named "fat pig grill" we probably wouldn't be having this conversation because I probably wouldn't have came in. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbecue - take a look for yourself. In North America BBQ isn't a flavor, it's a method of cooking over wood or charcoal, usually outdoors. Also, good BBQ shouldn't taste smoky, not sure where you got that notion. My experience with the food was one star, it really wasn't good. So that's the review I gave. read more

This place is delicious! If you love tender meat this place can't be beat. I'm a sauce person, and if the sauce isn't right I'm not interested in the food, however this bbq joint has it nailed down, if you're looking for a quick bite or a family style meal, look no further than Fat Pig BBQ. The staff is also amazing, so accommodating and kind, after getting off my shift in the hospitality industry it was wonderful to see the friendly staff eager to serve guests. We had them do catering for 100 people for our event this week and we WILL be using them again! The food was AMAZING, everything we ordered was outstanding. It takes a lot to coordinate food for 100 and from the start communication was great, all my questions were answered, the food was going to be ready earlier than my pickup time (which helped me tremendously) and was communicated early so I could adjust my timing. This is huge since my previous vendor was 30 mins late! Everyone loved the food and several people who attended WILL ALSO be using them to cater events. I can't say enough good things about them, you'll be happy you gave them a try! read more

Decided to check out this barbecue place after driving by several times. Small restaurant with few tables. The barbecue was excellent. Both the barbecue pork ribs and chickens were very tender. The meat easily fell off the bone with simple pull. The corn bread and roasted corn were very buttery. The owner/chef was very friendly and chatted with us. This will definitely will be a regularly spot for us. read more

Had the BBQ pork ribs. The meat was perfectly cooked. I pulled it off the bone with just a fork, and in the same motion pulled off perfectly sized bites. Generous half rack portion and the minimal amount of sauce was the right amount of sauce. Friendly owner and cook that cares. read more

Not bad! I ordered food from this place and picked it up. It was not exactly what I expected, but the reviews were good. The food was very tasty and I loved the corn bread. I just wish they had brisket on the menu. read more

Place is rather small but decently clean. I was their first customer of the day so I cant say that the dining area is kept clean throughout the day. I was asking questions about how everything is done and it sounds like all the meat is (secretly) prepared by the owner as the ladies working the restaurant couldn't really answer my questions. Kids meal (Drumstick) with Corn Cob, Roll and Treat. The Chicken isnt breaded or Fried which is good. I wished it were more smoked. It seems to be slow cooked with the skin on and them slightly grilled before serving. I prefer a long grill so the skin is crispy. Chicken = 3 Stars Half Rack of Ribs was the nest item. It had a good smoky flavor, exactly what you expect from a BBQ spot. It looks like they finished them on the grill as the ends were slightly burned. I would order a full rack if I come again. Ribs = 4 Stars Pulled Pork plate with Coleslaw and beans. Pulled pork didnt have a smoky flavor at all. I was disappointed in the plate overall. The beans are very sweet and make sure to ask for light dressing on the coleslaw. The rolls aren't baked in house, they seem to he the Hawaiian brand you can get at the grocery store. Pulled Pork Plate = 2 Stars They have one BBQ sauce option and one hot sauce option. I didn't care for the hit sauce but was impressed with the flavor BBQ sauce. It wasn't too sweet like the beans. It isnt spicy so anyone can enjoy it. The put in on my ribs and pulled pork prior to bringing them out so it's a good thing I enjoyed it. BBQ sauce = 3.5 Stars Overall = 3 Stars. Not the best option for BBQ in the Puget sound but if you are in Edmonds, not a bad option. read more

Pulled pork relies too much on the sauce. It should have a great flavor before the sauce is applied! The ribs are good. Brisket would be nice but they don't offer it. Pity! Cornbread's a hit! read more

I absolutely loved this place! Everything about it was incredible. Everyone that worked there was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food itself was delicious and very fairly priced. I got the large rib plate and everything was perfect. Beans were good, ribs were tender, and the coleslaw was very tasty! Everyone else really liked the ribs as well. A really good value. Just a little hole-in-the-wall. I ordered a 3-piece rib dinner, which came with cole slaw, beans and a dinner roll for only about $13. Dinner was served almost instantly after I ordered. The ribs were quite good, but it was the BBQ sauce which was mild, that really made the meal great. I also appreciated the friendly service. read more

IT DONT GET BETTER THAN THIS! The best barbecue Ive had in years. I invited bonafide Texans to lunch here and they loved it! (Heck they eat barbecue every day they should know) Really nice people here who take their quality and flavor very seriously. We loved it all pulled pork , chicken and ribs TOP NOTCH . I loaded a big bag to take home so my Texas friends could enjoy another round tomorrow. All the trimmins were excellent too. Corn bread, ears of corn w/ salt and real butter, very good cole slaw and potato salad, and the baked beans were above average by far. Excellent value for the money to boot. Thanks Bao and Sid I really enjoyed the time there and the food Thank you very much! read more

The food barely seemed like fresh food, more like reheated idk what. Never again! Nice folks, wish it would have been better.

Tried this place for the first time. My family and I ordered the full rack of ribs a double meat pulled pork sandwich and a combo with rib and chicken. The wife loved the chicken, it was juicy and full of flavor. The ribs were the best thing me and my daughter shared. Ribs had nice grill marks and the sauce was not over powering, meat fell off the bone. The pulled pork was good but the ribs and chicken were better than good. The corn bread is a must. It was moist and filled with sweet corn kernels. Customer service was excellent and they take COVID very seriously so I felt safe. read more

I ordered off UberEats because I live in Richmond Beach and it's a bit too far from me normally so I didn't get to give them my in person patronage. Bao (I believe) also called me to let me know a thigh was out from my meal, but he was so pleasant on the phone that it leads me to believe all the 5 star reviews about his customer service are true. I wish we could tip the restaurant directly on UE, he deserves it. The beans are homemade, the ribs are phenomenal. I just really enjoyed it, and I hope his business keeps growing. read more
