the food waa good but its bar food the service was great. Ambience was nice, but it would be nice to have some kind of entertainment being it's a bar food atmosphere We kind of just sat there. It would have been nice if we had a karaoke night or a band or even a two-piece band or even a guitar player or trivia night or something the place wasn't that packed. FRIED PICKLES!! I absolutely loves these and they have really food ones. Fried green tomatoes, not something you see on a menu at most restaurants and they have them here- I really really enjoyed them along with the deep fried mushrooms. For a burger, I don't like big burgers not because I don't like a big beefy burger, I just can't eat a whole one unless I am not having appetizers, so the smaller burger was perfect size. I think if you like a good hearty club sandwich, they have that here and and my husband really enjoyed it, the fries were crispy and I enjoyed stealing off my hubbies plate lol. They have pizza, and salads and the desserts coming out of the pass looked really good size so I think you would be happy with whatever you decide, the wings seem very popular here so give those a try too. read more

Best burger, hands down -- the Jammin Burger. Easily the best burger I've had, and that's saying a lot because Burger 25 held that title for me until now. We also got the chicken quesadilla, which was solid. Loved that the drinks were half off even on Christmas Eve. The side Caesar was decent for $5; the dressing was the only thing that could use a little improvement. The fries with the burger were perfectly seasoned, and the side of honey mustard was a great combo. Unfortunately one of those places that adds a ridiculous 3% fee for credit cards. First time we walked in we weren't even looked at (sat at the bar) for 15 minutes. We walked out. Second time we went in I got the honey hot patty (burger $15.99) and he got the chicken tenders (fat's tendies $12.99.) The honey hot burger was fantastic, albeit messy, but I do recommend. The chicken tenders were sad, rubbery, and incredibly dry. Most of the plate was taken up by fries, which are not that great themselves. (see photo.) This last time I went in by myself and ordered the buffalo chicken salad ($12.99) and a side of the 3 cheese Mac & cheese (4.99.) The salad was huge, buffalo sauce is great. The Mac & cheese came out completely cold. The very bottom was luke warm, but it had clearly been sitting for a VERY long time, and some of it tasted like it was undercooked. We've given this place 3 chances now and still haven't left completely satisfied. New location, new staff, have to work out the kinks but at this point I don't see it improving much, which is a shame because they have a great looking menu. Visit with low expectations and hopefully you receive better food than we did. It's a gamble. read more

Tasted EXACTLY like a McDonald's burger. Eh. I just don't like the taste of burgers on a flat top grill. Wasn't bad, but wasn't anything I would ever crave again. Was excited to see pimento on the menu and of course it was nuclear orange and nothing like traditional southern pimento. Tasted like chi-chi's can queso from the dollar store mixed with some cheddar & a tiny spec of pimento. You know what I'm talking about. Chips had a good crisp but weren't salted. Huge portion. Not sure why burger is served with a sad pickle when it comes with pickles on it but ok? Fries were typical. Bartender seemed annoyed at our questions. Other bartender kept hawking us asking if we were alright or wanted anything else. I was highly disappointed with my visit to Fatty Patty's. My family and I are very frequent customers at this restaurant. Today the waiters/waitresses were very unattentive and did not even come over to ask what we wanted to drink or eat for a half hour. A table next to us was also not getting served. We had to leave because we were starving now. I do not expect to come back after this. read more

Really gross. You can see the staff touching their face and hair and then serving food and drinks. I ordered a quesadilla and nothing was fresh or seemed natural. It had some chicken paste that was disgusting. Also the restrooms were not heated it had to be less than 50 degrees in there. This is a place that makes Applebee's seem upscale. read more

Fat Pattys in TomsRiver was somewhat enjoyable. The food was decent and so was the service. It's a place to go to when you don't wanna spend too much money as seen by all the diners in this packed place. If you're looking for a place to talk with another regarding business or just friendship, don't go here. It's way too noisy and very hard to hold a conversation. read more

My ex and I ate here on Thursday night October 2 before we went to a show. It's your typical chain, pub style restaurant. It's very large. We decided to get burgers because it seemed like their signature menu item. We asked for medium rare but they came out almost well done. I like the french fries and so did my wife. The onion rings very good. The burger patty is large, and seemed to have a lot of cheese. The combination of ingredients is OK but the burger did not hold together, meaning every bite was not equal. The raspberry sauce that had a little bit of a kick to it for the fried green tomatoes was good as well. The service is good. For people that like this style of sports bar food you will love this place. I may return, but I definitely won't get a burger again. read more

Nice cute and open bar with a lot of TVs and sporting games to watch. Service was good and food was reasonably priced. We had an amazing plate of nachos that came in a can and could be a whole meal itself, seriously they were amazing. We also got a cheeseburger pizza that I wouldn't recommend. It was soggy and tasted straight like pickles. The other chicken sandwich we got was okay but wouldn't order again. Definitely would go back and have a few drinks but might pass on the food. read more

Service was excellent did there do diligence hiring some veteran servers that new how to handle them selfs. Clean sports bar with a modern look. Sports, horses, classic rock. Foods good. Different take on your classic foods in the "casual dining experience" sauces and drinks seem to be heavy in the fruitier side of things. read more

Tried for the first time -- excellent! Jules was our server and she was absolutely awesome and great to talk to. We had the fried green tomatoes, chili, reuben and boom boom burger and wouldn't change anything about it. Cant wait to come back and try more of the menu! read more

Started out with the greet from our server, smiling, energetic and polite. We mentioned it was our first time at the restaurant and he made some great recommendations. We tried for the appetizers the fried pickles and boom boom shrimp. Ambiance- same floor plan as the other prior restaurant with table seating and certain cushion bench seats opposite side. Plenty of space between each patron as to not feel cramped. Floors and tables were clean no garbage on floors or dropped food. The greeting area was staffed by 4 employees each with a greeting and a welcoming smile. We had no wait at 4pm. Fried pickles- Came out about two dozen nice breading, flaky and crispy, not too greasy they were perfect. Boom boom shrimp - I was impressed by the quantity and perfect cooking of the shrimp. Let me say they gave you about a dozen medium size shrimp with the spicy sauce perfectly coated and not too much sauce, even though I wouldn't mind extra it was spicy and awsome. Hot honey patty - Bacon jam, hot honey Aioli, pepper jack cheese, jalapeño, lettuce and tomato on a nice soft butter bun. We asked for medium rare and it came out as expected, the burger was thick big and very juicy along with some nice flavor. It is a big burger that I recommend if you like spice. Swiss shroom Burger- My wife asked for a medium well and came out as expected, she was suprised how big the burger was and she said juicy and flavorful. The mushrooms were a decent size about 2" and the Swiss was smothered over the entire burget. The lettuce wasn't wilted and floppy as some can be from sitting and or heated up from the burger. It was crunchy and fresh, she also told me the tomato was as big as the burger, thick and also very juicy and she would get it again. Beer on tap - you have to scan the qr code on the drink banner on the table I opted for the Asbury blond and it came out in the normal pilsner pint glass, chilled and a good pour with a nice head. Overall - we enjoyed our meals and appetizers and our server was very attentive and checking in as one would expect, always their with a fresh drink and a smile. We are looking forward to several additional visits and try some other dishes. Till then, keep expanding your palate.. read more

Was there couple nights ago and the burgers were great. The service too, we didn't have to wait for a thing.

The cooks constantly make mistakes with food prep. I have had the hamburger medium rare 4 times now hoping one would be cooked right. NEVER has my order come out medium rare. Our server never came to check on the food so I had to eat a well done burger which is like cardboard everything. Ambiance is like a large LOUD open kitchen. No ambiance. The wine prices are outrageous, $10.00 for a cheap glass of wine. I keep trying them only because they are so close to home. read more

Refers to this restaurant and found it with no issue. The overall look for us is as that it was warm and inviting. Nick the server in training was worm and dynamic. I just stopped in for lunch again for the first time in awhile. I just got a Cheeseburger which was ok it was slightly overcooked but otherwise it was fine. The waiter was friendly and efficient. The service was fast and they made a decent Long Island Ice Tea, but the food which should be the main attraction was pretty bad. I ordered the Boom-Boom burger and my wife order the Swiss Shroom. The meat to be polite was "un-fresh", the tomatoes were green and the fries were limp and cold. I love the food, service, and atmosphere. The vibe is wonderful and the bar is really cool and has a wheelchair accessible bar section which I haven't seen often! You can make any burger vegan with a beyond patty and pretzel bun and their fries were delicious. The manager keeps an eye on all the tables and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks, but honestly we've had great servers so very little assistance has been needed. Was at the new Toms River location with my wife on Friday night. My wife had the Chicken wings with sweet potato fries. I had the OG Patty burger with Patty fries, accompanied with a Michelob Ultra Draft. Our first time there, wings and fries awesome. My burger was huge, fries delicious, couldn't finish everything. Came to fat patties with a friend. I didn't get the burger, but my good friend said hers was very very good. I got the three cheese macaroni for a side and a club sandwich. The three cheese macaroni was straight Kraft macaroni and cheese out of the box and we asked the waiter about it and he said "yeah, they say that on the menu but..." He did not take off for it. For starters the pretzel wasn't what it was described on the menu, three small sticks cut in half. Family of four ordered dinner and only mine came out and ten minutes later my family's came and my burger was cold, my wife chicken sandwich was dry and Mac n cheese was a clump. The manager took our meals off the bill which was nice but this place isn't gonna make it. And the ambiance was industrial, green and black and no booths. Don't waste your time or money. read more
