Word of mouth may be helped by the fact that Julian has experience working in some of Boise's most popular fine-dining restaurants (like Petite 4 and Avery) since moving here eight years ago and with a decade-plus experience before that in professional kitchens, he clearly knows his stuff. Add in charming Hallie who is so welcoming in her role front of house taking orders at the counter, and delivering them to tables if you choose to eat in, they have a recipe for success. FOCUS: Sometimes it is best to let owners speak in their own voice, and so I'll insert Julian's comments as published in a Boise Dev article. We ordered a Cadence Bowl that had a base of scallion labneh topped with a plethora of marinated golden and red beets, then perfectly cooked farro and finally a crown of fresh arugula ($10) to take away for dinner. $: For $27 (before tax and tip we had food to feed two people for two meals of healthy and fresh ingredients prepared by a skilled chef.
