I should have checked the reviews before visiting this spot in the airport, but I was tempted by the fact it was next to my gate when heading back home. I didn't sit at the bar, since it was full, but received decent service. Both the bartender and one of the waitresses assisted me during my visit. I was initially undecided on ordering the burger or wings, so I asked the bartender but she was no help and said she didn't eat meat. I ordered the double bacon burger with several of their "free" toppings. They should correct their menu and call the fresh jalapeños "grilled", since they showed up on my burger as grilled ones. How did it taste? Well, I had Arby's for lunch, so it was slightly better than that, I should say. The burger patties were perfectly circular and tasted dry and boring, so its pretty obvious they were machine formed, pre-frozen patties, yuck! Luckily I didn't order fries or anything else, food wise. I did try a local wheat beer on tap, which wasn't bad. The food presentation is terrible. First of all, food comes out in a paper bag, even though it was obvious I was dining there. Pros: we have eaten at other fat guys locations and liked it. We ate at this location last month and it was fine. No issues. But last time I only ordered fried and a soda. Andqle was closed so we had a choice between fat guys or chili. This was right in front of our gate so we chose this place. Cons: ordering chaotic. You seat yourself so the waitresses just serve anyone they feel like in no particular order. So people who arrive long after you get table service before you. 45 minutes later, still no food. We had to cancel our order. Then they brought our food to the gate. We paid. Food was horrible! My burger was dry and patties were so thin. The bun was stale. My husband's hotdog bun was dry, the meat was tasty, the condiments were messily placed. We will never ever eat here again. There's other places to choose from at the airport. read more

The Peanut Butter Bacon Thai Style burger is not worth it (burger, PB, bacon, jalapeños, sriracha, grilled pineapple) - just go with a cheeseburger. The beef doesn't have much beefy flavor- very disappointing. Tulsa, OK. Food selections at Tulsa Airport are rather slim, perhaps three or four choices. Fat Guys is located out on on one of the concourses, of course not the one our gate was at. It seemed to be the most interesting choice. The burgers are double or triple patty and are rather good. For airport food it is excellent, as long as you're in the mood for a burger that is. The price range is surprising because it seems to be standard pricing, not airport gouging. You sit at a table and a server takes your order. Then she brings it out in a to go bag, kind of odd but what the hell. My burger had cheddar, bacon, and roasted jalapeños. The jalapeños were the real deal, plenty of fire but not overwhelming. Slow to non-existent service. Travel through TUL airport frequently and need a place to grab a bite. Last visit a few weeks ago I stopped in, sign at front said to seat yourself, so I did. I waited 20 min with no server acknowledging my existence, so I got up and left. Fast forward two weeks. Me and two co workers had over an hour until flights boarded. Co workers wanted to go here, so I joined them. Same thing, we seated ourself. 15 minutes later we were greeted. Placed our order for a blue burger and two chipotle chicken sandwiches. Another 15 min go by and waited comes to table to tell us they are out of chicken! This is about 11:30am too, so before any lunch crowd, and maybe 10 or so total people at tables. The other two switch to burgers, another 10 minutes pass and time to board plane for 2 guys. Waites said cook just put a lot of burgers on the grill and we could cancel order if we wanted. While the server was great at being helpful, the restaurant did not have quite of few things that made this place not enjoyable. While the burger was cooked just right, couldn't get toppings I wanted due to being out. Did not have bone-in chicken wings. Fries were not crisp but soggy. Sweetener for drinks was so old it was one lump and wouldn't dissolve in drink. All this at 12pm on a Friday. I won't be flying to Tulsa no more but if I did I probably will try another place. I think I must've gotten FG on a good day. Had a flight in the afternoon and Olivia was my staff person. I was promptly greeted and order taken - I chose being the the dining room as opposed to the bar. Ordered the PB Thai style burger and spicy fries with chipotle ketchup. Burger came out hot as did fries. Thai style has a pineapple and jalapeños and of course peanut butter. I really liked the taste - very unique and good combo of sweet and savory and spicy. I'd definitely get it again. The spicy fries were ok but not outstanding, but they were spicy and crispy. The chipotle ketchup was meh - I'd choose another next time. read more

The two patrons seated were in conversation with each other and she was about to pour a poorly measured Vodka Soda. The 0.002 seconds it would have taken her to simply acknowledge my existence would have made all the difference here.
