Both the entrees and standalone breads are worth going out of your way for. How can they make something as simple as grilled cheese so incredibly delicious? Salads made with real vegetables, nary an iceberg leaf in sight? Fantastic avocado toast that will make you forget any other such concoction you've had elsewhere? We haven't even tried the outside specialty pizza stand, because we love all the things inside so much. 100% go for the specials as available -- they do vary the menu enough to make it so you might see something different on it with every repeat visit. Throw in incredibly pleasant service, and a sort of party-like-summer-will-never end casual ambiance, outdoor seating but really nice air conditioning inside, and rather stylish restrooms, what more do you need? How about WiFi, in an area with a lot of dead cell areas? Just be aware parking can be at a bit of a premium during the busy summer months, and it's a weird turn onto the old state road in order to get there.

This is more inviting, has more personality and just a whole vibe I think. Parking can be a little touchy depending on when you pull up, but once you get inside, you forget all about that. They make all their (and maybe in-house(?)). Beyond the bread, they have shelves with canned goods, fridge stocked with cheeses and other little finds. Kingston B. is like a little neighborhood-market-meets-bread-bar energy. I came in for a bite and somehow left with more than I could chew. I went with the grilled cheese with white cheddar and ricotta pressed between their sourdough bread. Simple on paper, but the flavor was definitely on point. It's creamy, super cheesy, had a freaking terrific melt pull and the bread is crispy where it needed to be. I mean- that bread really brought the whole thing together. Or was it the combo of the cheeses? Definitely not your basic grilled cheese.

A little small inside but there is one large table and a handful of smaller ones - they even have a high chair for the little ones! They have an amazing house made granola - we had it in the yogurt granola bowl which had blueberries and bananas. Delicious. I wanted to buy some granola to take home but they said probably can't do that until the holidays. We also got two breakfast sandwiches on the hard roll (which is actually a soft Kaiser roll). They weren't bad - one came with too much ketchup so I would ask them to hold that next time or just use less. Our friend liked the hot bird sandwich (turkey, bacon, and cheese).
