As a yelper i frequently forget that Yelp should be used for reviewing all businesses not just…read morerestaurants. I purchased a new truck and after much deliberation I decided to get a spray in bed liner. Naturally I did quite a bit of research and while I preferred to get one from the factory I found a much better solution in d&s automotive. I learned quite a bit about spraying bedliners there are pros and cons and certainly have its share of detractors. But Anthony at DNS did a good job of educating me and certainly the price point was within the budget of what I wanted to spend. The two main spray in bedliners I was considering were rhino and Line-X. Well generally they do the same thing what I found was rhino lining which is sold and serviced by d&s is simply one product. No difference in color thickness or options or add-ins. Line-X which I'm certain has its fans gives you the option to add in ultraviolet protection certain thicknesses they can even tint the lining so if you're a fancy fellow that wanted a red line x sprayed in you could do that. But it also added in to the price as well. Generally DNS sprays in your rhino lining and mine cost me out the door $580 with tax. This is my first pickup truck and I don't like stuff sliding around in the back of the truck and this textured surface will certainly limit that. The quality of the work that they did was surprisingly good. There was no overspray or thin spots and I couldn't find anything to get upset about not that I was looking to get upset but they did a really good job and I'm very pleased with the outcome.

After my parked Tesla Model 3 was hit, the person's insurance led me to D & S. D & S received my…read morevehicle the morning of 10/29 and did not assess and submit a supplemental until 11/11 which the insurance approved immediately. D&S kept me in the loop and provided thorough information about the repairs needed and how the technicians would achieve this process in a timely manner. Once the assessment was complete, I was informed if parts came timely repairs would be done the first week of December at the top of the week and I'd be able to pick up my vehicle then. Harley did a wonderful job of communicating each step with me providing a timeline of when my vehicle would be ready. I was then informed it would take more time to put my vehicle back together than previously anticipated so my vehicle would be ready by 12/05 rather than the top of the week. Harley let me know the team was unable to complete putting my vehicle back together by EOD and my vehicle would be ready by 12/08 at the earliest and 12/09 at the latest along with approval from the insurance company of a second and final supplement for the labor to put my vehicle back together that the team did not originally anticipate. Calibrations and clean up weren't complete until 12/09. Harley then informed me the service writer was unable to finish sending the information to the insurance company by EOD 12/09. 12/10 the information / final supplement was sent over to the insurance company to review. I was finally able to pick up my vehicle 12/12 after I called the insurance company several times to expedite their review of the supplement money needed for the extra labor costs of putting my vehicle back together which D&S did not anticipate during their initial review. D&S finished calibrations and cleanup 12/09 but would not release it until they received the supplement from the insurance for the extra labor costs. The body work looks and feels amazing, you cannot tell my rear bumper was replaced. Only downsides, the technician my mom and I spoke to was unable to tell us if the vehicle had a full paint job. Once I went to my vehicle I was unable to access it as the technician forgot to take it out of service mode. I went back into the shop to find someone to take this out of service mode. My panel under my hood of car was not put back, however I popped this back on myself. I appreciate Harley's customer service and updates. The repair team unfortunately left me feeling unnerved about all the 'unexpected' extra work necessary after their review.

Pat Schudel…read more Without fail this man has single-handedly shown what it means to be a service professional. Ordinarily your service writers at auto dealerships up here and disappear on a frequent basis and there really is no stability but not this guy. This guy came with the woodwork. We are on Q7 number 2 from Audi of mentor and it's not just the sale that the service after the sale. Every single time this guy just does not fail to exceed all expectations. This particular Audi dealership has customers from as far away as Sandusky Columbus and Erie PA. Why? Aren't there Audi dealers in those cities? Yes but it's the service that you get at Audi of mentor. Shuttle service: they provide a shuttle service where they have a number of retirees that will drive you back and forth if you just need a ride home or they'll come pick your car up and then bring it back after service. What? Most dealerships also do a video where they explain what they found but the tech that worked on my car was particularly detailed and oriented to resolving my issue. Which was also followed up by a phone call and email from Pat. I went to go get it last night he said no don't worry about it we'll just deliver it in the morning and lo and behold at 8:30 in the morning my car showed up. For reference our Q7 was a Audi certified and we get treated like royalty at this place. Guarantee you we are going to go back.

They said it would be 4-5 hours for the service. We TRIED to call them at 5:30pm and only got their voice message machine. We again called them the following morning, only to leave a voice message. When we finally got a call back (10:30am), they said they will call back at 1:00pm, and here itis 2:30 and still NO CALL BACK. Terrible service dept.

I have a Kio Rio SX that had an expiring extended warranty, so I needed to get my GPS fixed. The…read morewarranty was only good certain places but I believed I had moved far enough away that I could go nearer to home and have the warranty honored. I knew what was wrong with the GPS as the people at Mentor Kia told me what was wrong, so when I made an appointment to have it repaired there, I told them the problem and said there might be an issue with the warranty company. They charged me $130 for a diagnosis on a problem THEY told me had and then called the warranty company who refused to honor the warranty. I feel I was ripped off for $130. The service advisor said her people do not work for free (which I certainly agree with), but the amount for a 5-minute look at a problem they had already diagnosed was unreasonable. They also knew there might be a problem with the warranty company, yet they did not verify the status before ripping me off for $130. This whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth about this dealership which had always been great in the past. What makes me madder is that not only did the service advisor refuse to bend on the fee once I realized what was happening is that I contacted the General Manager who did not even bother to respond to my complaints.

And, part of their jobs must be sales, because they always try to upcharge you. The mechanics are incompetent. I strongly recommend bypassing Ken Ganley's Kia Mentor dealership
