This is the result of Western Reserve Honda in Mentor, Ohio doing repairs to my best friends brand new 21 Tour. It was in the shop to fix an intermittent stalling concern and a rear tpms sensor not reading. The bike was dropped off freshly detailed and ceramic coated and it was returned filthy and looks like it was wiped off with a dirty rag because there are clear scratches all over the bike now. They must have made a mistake in programming becuase they had to order a whole new pcm and two new keys. It was a whole ordeal trying to get a key code for programming from Honda and that took days of waiting. The left hand tie rod bushing was torn out, and the tech tried to hide his mistake by using washers to try and fix the damage. You can see the extra washer under the nut compared to the right hand side. They tried to say that this damage was from us installing Helibars on the bike. They also said that the stalling concern was due to the risers pinching the clutch hose. And they did us a 'favor' in getting the repairs covered under warranty. Neither of us are confident in the repairs done. Now we have to take the bike back apart and recheck and retorque all the fasteners that were removed. We have between the two of us purchased probably 20+ motorcycles from this dealership and this is the treatment we get. We've made a claim to Honda about the poor repairs and the damage done to the bike. The dealership paid for the new bushing, the scratched trim plate and the scratched cluster bezel trim. I am an auto dealership tech with almost 20 years experience and this is embarrassing. I am embarrassed for the dealership and for their tech who though that this was an appropriate condition to return a brand new Goldwing with 700 miles back to the customer. Just For Fun has our business now. Just purchased out new 2022 Navi from Brian and he was fantastic. read more

ZERO STARS IS NOT AN OPTION Hello, Over the past few years I have had this place work on 3 bikes I owned. The last I bought there. One of my bikes spent 120 days there as they tried to diagnose a problem. They never could fix it I got so disgusted I traded 2 bikes in for a new 2015 Road Glide. I got caught up in the Harley Davidson, "make it your own", bullshit and decided to go all out. I did have some problems with the build. Many they could not fix so I learned by myself how to repair certain issues and diagnose a few more. They gladly took thousands of dollars of mine to fix or semi fix some items. I was having issues with the radio. I had it picked up on march 6th 2021. My bike was in perfect running condition. I wanted them to see if there was an issue with the STOCK Boom Sound System as it was cutting out a lot. I also was inquiring on an upgrade to the sound system. I picked the bike on May 1, 2021. So they had the bike for 56 days. I paid the bill and went outside to start it. It did not start so they had to jump it. I rode directly to the gas station to fill the tank, and then home. I let them bike run for a while. I then checked for error codes and there were a few. I decided to go directly back to Western Reserve Harley Davidson service to get it checked out. On the way there the entire dashboard went dark. It still ran but I had no turn signal light or brakes. I got it back there and left it so they could fix it. The service manage, Shane O then told me never come back to see him. He did not want my business. I did speak to several people there and got a call from the Owner Zoli Dudensky. He told me in no uncertain terms that HE did not work on custom Bike's. He also told me to take my bike to another business in Mentor to get the stereo looked at. Even though the website clearly stated that they did. This has been changed in the past 2 days reflecting this. The problem is that they will take your money, and I mean a lot of it, As long as they can keep you hooked. Many fine people work there. But the service department is a total mess due to the owner and the management of the service department. They have had 4 managers in as many years. I CANNOT RECOMMEND ANYONE DEALING WITH THIS BUSINESS. read more

Western Reserve Harley is what I think of when I think H-D shop. It is family run and very friendly. I walked in 10 minutes before closing instead of rushing me out the door the sales person asked me what had brought me in? I'm planning a trip to Johnson City Tennessee and need a small travel bag. The sales person told me if I had any questions please check with the parts counter they know everything about them. Again getting closer to six. I really thought they would be open to 8. Since I been scoping bags for the last couple weeks. I grabbed my final selection and out the door I went. Glad they were closing because I was looking at this lovely road glide. I really don't need a new bike but that's never stopped me. Since I work close to them it has been my go to H-D dealership. I don't even think they deserve one star honestly. I took my brand new wheels to have the tires removed so I could get the rims powder coated. When I picked them up my rims were destroyed and they didn't even want to give me my money back let alone offer to repair or replace them. Needless to say I would never recommend this place because I was treated horribly for them damaging my belongings. They should have bent over backwards to make things right. read more

Bought what I thought was a K&N air filter in 2016. During my pm on my bike the Air Filter gasket is ripped. Its a K&N so it is warrantied for 1,000,000 miles. I contact K&N for a replacement, and they inform me it is an HD filter and I will have to go to them for replacement. I go the WRHD and I am told that it has a one year warranty. I show him the receipt with the K&N clearly on it. He tells me I am wrong. He tells me that the gaskets always rip. He tells me I torqued the filter done too much. I tell him they did not give me what I paid for and they gave another filter that does not fit my FLHTCI. He says i will give you a new filter at our cost of $40. What happened to the $60 I already spent? Now you know what happened to me. I just want the right part and good quality....ho!d the attitude. Am I expecting too much? read more

Spent almost an hour there with my girlfriend trying on jackets and helmets for her. In all the time we were there, NOT ONE employee approached us to ask if we needed help. Looked behind the counter and a couple of guys were sitting there on their computers. They ignored me. I guess they didn't want our business. Went to State 8 and spent $600 on a jacket, gloves and helmet later that day. Will never go back there. read more

I can't attest to the service department since I have not been there yet, but the one star reviews are a huge understatement to how wonderful this dealer is. It doesn't hurt to go up and ask questions instead of waiting for someone to find you and read your mind. Then again, I'm someone who prefers to walk into a business and let me search around and ask questions on my own if I need to instead of being tackled by a sales person. My experience with this dealership started when my husband and I moved to the area and found out we needed to re-take a motorcycle riding certification course in order to be able to ride our motorcycles on military bases. We already have our motorcycle license/endorsements, and every single returning rider or basic riding 2 course was booked in the area, so we decided to just re-take the basic riding course again. I was emailing back and forth with their riding academy rep and found out we did not qualify for the special $99 military riding course rate, but she was able to still offer us a generous 50% military discount from their actual regular course rate. And just to note, their course rate not only includes instruction and coaching in the classroom and field, but it includes beverages, snacks, and lunch on ALL days (dinner if it is a night class), and plenty of small gifts such as a gift card, books, stickers, key chain, etc. I also had the pleasure of meeting the female owner of the dealership when I came in to sign up for the riding course, and it shows that she takes so much pride and dedication in her employees and dealership. I had walked into a different Harley Davidson dealership just a few weeks prior, and it was NOTHING compared to how I was treated here. Every single person I came into contact with here was courteous, friendly, and very professional. They definitely set the bar high for the Harley Davidson image. Like a previous reviewer said, it definitely is a family-owner business and it shows in every single employee. Terrie and Dominic were our instructors for the riding course. We've taken an MSF course in California before and the instructors are like drill sergeants barking orders at you down the field and waiving their hands at you to go away or get back in line when you screw up. Terrie and Dominic's approach allowed even the most inexperienced and frustrated new riders to walk away with confidence in their abilities and fundamental skills to remember in order to succeed out on the road. They do not yell, they don't have attitudes, and when you screw up, they calmly walk you through it, coach you on what you did wrong and what you can do to improve it, and give you a pat on the back, which (believe it or not) will help your confidence when you go back and try again knowing that it's OKAY that you messed up, hence the purpose and importance of practicing with them on the field. Even as experienced riders, my husband and I walked away learning new skills and techniques to improve our riding skills, and our experience and interaction with everyone here was such a great pleasure. My 62!! year old mother took the Riders Edge class and learned how to ride a motorcycle for the first time!! She took the weekday class, with the owner's wife in it, and had a blast! I do not understand this business at all. I purchased a side by side from them in December 2016. I used their contact form on their website inquiring about oil, filters and some orings to complete my first 100 mile service. Not a single reply from them. I tried the service department contact as well. Asking for availability to have my machine looked at for some concerns I have. ZERO reply as well. This is 2017, not 2002, Why have the lead generating contact us on your website if you plan to just ignore it. Looks like I need to find another Honda Powersport dealer. read more
