WARNING: DO NOT USE FAST TRACK HVAC
I had Fast Track HVAC install ducting in my home and discovered serious workmanship issues when another tech came to service my unit due to poor airflow. What I found was absolutely shocking and ver.
MAJOR INSTALL ISSUES FOUND:
The flex ducting was secured with only single screws and loose zip ties, creating connections that were loose and falling off. There was no tape, no secure fastening, no clamps - absolutely zero professional workmanship anywhere in the system. They also incorrectly sized the ducting throughout the entire installation, which explains why my airflow was so poor from day one. Any legitimate HVAC company would know that proper duct installation requires secure connections and correct sizing for the system to function safely and efficiently.
UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR:
Beyond the terrible installation quality, the technician Nick displayed extremely unprofessional behavior throughout the project. At first he was personable and easy going; however, this all changed on install day. He was consistently argumentative during our interactions, raised his voice at me on multiple occasions, and became increasingly hostile when I asked reasonable questions about the work. When I simply requested that a duct be relocated in one of the bedrooms, he actually threatened to rip the entire system out and stormed off to throw a tantrum on my front deck like a child yelling and pacing back and forth. I honestly should have ended our business relationship that very day when he displayed such unprofessional conduct, but I ignorantly gave him the benefit of the doubt that he was just having a bad day.
STAY AWAY FROM FAST TRACK HVAC!
The combination of very poor workmanship and completely unprofessional behavior makes Fast Track HVAC a company I would never recommend to anyone. The poor installation led to serious HVAC problems and a lot of extra time and money to repair the poor install. Save yourself the headache, potential personal safety risks, and wasted money - use a reputable, professional HVAC company instead. read more
