Before I called Fast Rooter, I had called another company who quoted me a minimum of $209 to come out the next day. After seeing the reviews on Yelp, I called Fast Rooter and they said it would be a flat rate of either $95 or $140. So I cancelled the first appointment. Fast Rooter is super fast and gets the job done! I called them at 10:30 AM with a blocked drain line. They said they could come out between 12:00 and 2:00. Called me at 11:20 to say they were on the way and were here and working by 12:00 PM! Plumber was super nice, professional and explained everything he was doing and gave me tips to hopefully prevent problems in the future. I love this plumbing company. Have reasonable prices but I do warn they charge a $100 now per hour. So if you have like a 15 min. fix I would go on YouTube first to figure it out because that per hr. charge is standard. So maybe milk it by going around your bathrooms water heater or any plumbing services around your house. They fixed my leaking shower and cleaned up after themselves. They are great plumbers if you have a rental business and they go through what they did before giving you the bill. read more

Needed a plumber on the weekend. Junior said available in 3-5 hours from when I called. I was quoted an upfront cost in the range btwn $190-$270 depending on difficulty of unclogging a "main" line, which I self diagnosed after reading online articles. Plumber Jay reliably arrived within that window of time. Jay did a thorough investigation and via process of elimination of running multiple faucets, toilets and shower heads he determined the source. Jay realized my diagnosis was incorrect - it wasn't a "main" line clog. Actually, it only required a small snake but Jay had to call coworker to bring over, which he did within 20 minutes. Thus, after a 20min snake job, pipe was unclogged, peace of mind was restored and Jay graciously charged me $103 total - yep, even lower than I had planned. Jay and Mike - thank you for your professionalism, composure, quiet confidence in your skills, not taking financial advantage of situation and ripping me off and esp your way of making homeowners feel really safe and well taken care of. Awesome quality. Awesome customer service. Doing a home reno and this is the 4th time I've needed work done as the process continues. As always I called Jr. at Fast Rooter. This time it was Joey that came over. Same excellent service as every other tech that has been to my house. He installed my new toilet perfectly. Left the bathroom spotless. This time, though, I had an out-of-box failure of the product I purchased. NOTHING TO DO with Fast Rooter. I called Jr. to let him know what was happening and he sent Joey back out to correct the situation even thought it wasn't their issue. Where do you find customer service like that anymore ???!!! Had a clogged sewer line, showers and toilets were backed up. I made a call and Mike arrived promptly at the time his boss said they could service my problem. He worked methodically, fast, and efficiently to clear the blockage. Mike even cleaned up the area after he was done. Junior answered and had his son Jay come out that afternoon. He installed the disposal, gave his opinion on some shower stems. and fixed and a small issue with a toilet. I use Yelp a lot when shopping around, but rarely remember to do a review. However I wanted to compliment Fast Rooter while it's fresh on my mind. I did a lot of comparison shopping on Yelp to narrow it down to two or three plumbing services, and got one (quite high) estimate from a well-known name. I have used several different plumbing companies in the past at my condo and most of the time experience sticker shock when they're done. Especially on a recent occasion when a plumbing company (can't remember the name) sent two plumbers to fix one toilet. This time around, there were a number of separate issues to resolve, mandated by the condo association, so I wanted to be sure I chose the right plumber. Fast Rooter was open on Veteran's Day and the plumber, Mike, was at my condo bright and early as promised. We went over what needed to be replaced and he went right to work. One of the biggest challenges was pulling out the stacked washer/dryer and he really busted his okole pulling it out. He was efficient, friendly and thorough, made some good suggestions, and really went above and beyond. Best of all, the bill didn't give me a heart attack. Comparing it to previous bills that I've had from plumbers, who only worked on a single issue, this invoice was super reasonable. I was very pleased with the service. I was told to contact this company to service a leak in our toilet at the condo where we are renting. It took a couple calls to connect. We agreed on a time range of 11am-1pm two days later. I had to take time out of work and make it up later for this. They never showed, never called. Ever. I had to work late that night to make up for the missed time. I called later and left an unfriendly message. Of course, they never called me back. Haven't heard from them at all. If their customer service is this bad and inconsiderate, I could not trust their work. read more

After many days of listening to my toilet running, I decided to call Fast Rooter Plumbing this morning (8:00am), to my surprise, I had an actual person answer the phone! Who by the way, was very pleasant and professional. Junior immediately dispatched Jay out to my home, and within the hour he was here ( thought I had to wait for an appointment being that it was on the weekend)!! Jay assessed the situation and explained exactly what he was going to do and how much it would cost. He was very efficient and was able to finish in less than an hour! I had initially called another plumbing company to help me with my plumbing problem, but they weren't able to help me...so they recommended I called Fast Rooter because Fast Rooter was one of the few companies that they knew did great work. I'm so glad they recommended me to Fast Rooter! Junior answered the phone when I called, I told him the threading on my old galvanized steel pipes were broken, so it wouldn't hold the new stop valve we put in (water leaked!). I texted him pictures of the pipe and valves so he could see exactly what was going on. He said he was busy at the moment and couldn't help me, but he gave me some tips on things to do that might help...and man, it did the trick!! Junior was so awesome! Called fast rooter on a Saturday and scheduled an appointment for the following Monday. Was given a 2 hour time window and told I would be called 30 minutes before the workers were to arrive. No workers arrived and I did not receive a courtesy call. This company's lack of professionalism inconvenienced both me and my tenant and prolonged an already "crappy" situation. read more

This company is the best and fastest service!! In the middle of preparing dinner today (Sat.), I tried to grind up a bunch of lettuce which clogged my garbage disposal. Junior arranged to have the plumbers come after they finished their prior job and in less than 1 and 1/2 hours from initial clog to unclogging, they were in and out and we are very satisfied with the service. Matt did a great job - gave oral estimate before starting which was reasonable and completed clearing unknown plug in main down 30 feet, pulling toilet and re-installing - all lines cleared within 3 hours. read more

I needed to replace my water line that ran from from under my sink, under my kitchen floor, to my newly-installed fridge because the line was kinked at the fridge end and started leaking at the connection to the fridge. I already bought the copper line for the replacing just to save money. I had two options 1) Replace the entire 6-8 foot copper line = however the plummer would need to re-route the line (thereby possibly demolitioning my floor or going under my house to find the route of the line) 2) Cut the line at the kink site and just use a compression fitting to join a new line from that point on and then connect the new end to the fridge. I called Sunday morning and the guy who answered the phone was EXTREMELY helpful. He told me step-by-step what work options they had and told me they normally charge $90/hr but since it was Sunday, it was $180/hr (totally understandable). He said it would be about a 1-2 hour job. He gave me the option to fix my problem the "economical" way or the "long-term" way. He did not try to sway me either way and just told me the pros and cons of each. The difference was going to be an hour of labor cost. We actually talked for about 20 minutes(!) and I proceeded to book them for Monday morning for the lowered labor cost. Due to certain circumstances, I had to have it repaired on Sunday and could not wait until Monday so I cancelled my appointment later that day. I cant vouch for their service or their promptness, but their rates and customer service is a plus. However, the steps that he described to me that they would have been doing seemed thorough. I learned two things; try to have plumbing services on a weekday, and to call Fast Rooter Plumbing for the next job. read more
