As a small business owner myself... I am always wanting to support other local small businesses. I called a local plumbing company earlier this morning and they said they would be here in the afternoon. At 12:30pm the lady called me and told me because I live in Del Valle it would be $250.00. I was a bit upset that this wasn't mentioned when I called. Well... I had to get the kitchen line unclogged so I called a couple of corporate places and couldn't get an amount for the service. "The plumber will tell you that when he gets there"... WHAT? I can't get a price on snaking out our kitchen line? Back to the computer. Then I found Fast Plumbing and explained my situation to Cari. She was awesome. She said... "I can tell you exactly how much it will be". Sold... I like knowing the cost and not being surprised. She said she can get someone out there between 2:00pm - 4:00pm. Then... then she sends me a text message saying they can actually have someone there in 30 minutes. Eric showed up and was very pleasant and courteous. These are all qualities I look for. I discovered I had a bad leak in my front yard late one night and had to shut off the main water to the house to stop it. Without water, I was desperate to get someone out first thing the next morning. I left messages for five different plumbing companies and Fast Plumbing was the ONLY one to call me back. They even called me an hour before they officially opened and got a team out right away. I'm so glad I was referred to Fast Plumbing by a co-worker. Everyone I dealt with was extremely professional and polite. Travis and his co-worker gave me an estimate on the spot and were very clear about what they were charging me for. I had to leave for work before they were finished, and Travis called me, as promised, to let me know when they were wrapping up and to confirm the total before charging my card. They identified the leak and fixed it in just a couple of hours. I will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing needs! read more

This is the second time I have used Fast Plumbing. Both times they responded immediately. The first was a leaking water heater which had to be replaced. Zach was professional and efficient and got the job done within a few hours including travel time to pick up the replacement heater. The second job was today, to replace 3 toilets; not an emergency. This was originally scheduled for mid-July but the equipment arrived early. I called yesterday and Melissa was able to re-schedule the work for today. Eric and Sparky arrived on time, were professional, efficient, and friendly. They were here for 2 hours and the only evidence that anyone was here is the 3 new toilets installed. All old fixtures were removed along with packaging, cartons, and 1 dead cockroach who was buried at sea (thanks Eric!) I am happy to give Eric, Sparky, Zach, and Fast Plumbing a 5 star rating and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. read more

I was upgrading some new toilets on 11/15/18 in my home when I found a broken flange under the toilet in my master bathroom. The first company I called did not have any plumbers available. I called Fast Plumbing second and was told someone could come out between 11am - 1:00pm. Eric and another employee arrived and identified themselves upon entry. He also told me how much it would cost for repairs. I showed Eric the broken flange in the master bathroom. Eric told me that he would need to replace the broken flange with a new one instead of trying to repair the old one and I agreed. They opened the bathroom window in order to reduce the odor prior to soldering. Eric did and excellent job repairing the flange. They also ensured they work area was cleanup prior to departure. I will definitely hire these guys again and let my friends know that they are skilled professionals. read more

Had a running toliet, valve wouldn't shut off water. Called Fast Plumbing left message, got a call back from them in less than 10 minutes, good huh They said they could come out the next afternoon btwn 2 to 4 pm. Got call this morning saying they could come out today if I wanted, I said yes. Eric was my tech showed up within 30 minutes, gave me estimate, replaced parts, explained our community has water pressure set to high, (which is why I have had flushers replaced alot) cleaned where he had worked, I was impressed how quick he worked. Eric Estrada was so polite, said to call if need anything else. I am preparing a list of additional work that needs to be done, and will send them for a quote. I picked Fast Plumbing from Google and it was a good decision. Very happy to have water back on and working toliet. Will use them again! read more

I highly recommend this company! They know their trade very well, take pride in their work and are very reasonably priced compared to other companies I have used in Austin. (Daniel's Plumbing is very over priced, good customer service though) This was the 3rd time we have used Fast Plumbing. 1st time at our rental property it was a small job helping to remove & replace old shower fixtures. 2nd time at rental property it was a medium job, after a very large water bill.. Fast Plumbing performed leak detection and fixed the problem. 3rd time at our main residence, was replace old cast iron pipes at toilet and shower, replace "S" trap which was sucking water out of the trap and allowing gases into the house, to the correct P-trap. Our sewer line was broken because of foundation work. I have worked with another plumbing company, them charged a lot but were not able to locate the leakage. Then I found fast plumbing. The best one ever! Lee, Eric and Sparky, they successfully found the leakage, and fixed it in an invasive way. All the lines are underground. We are so worried about our floor and bathroom fixtures. They made a plan to excavate a hole outside our house, and by entering the hole, they fixed four places of severe leakages, and checked everywhere else to make sure there is no more leakage. They are responsible, knowledgeable, explain things clearly, and very considerate. To complete the work early and avoid further weather conditions such as hurricane, they even came on Saturday. We are really appreciate to have them as our plumber. read more

Eric, the service guy did a bang up job. We see why he is known as the "miracle man". The bathroom tub wouldn't stop leaking hot water from the faucet. The hot water handle did not stop the flow at all. We called another plumbing company last night through our home warranty company. The guys last night comes and tells us that he will need to tear down the tile on the face of the tub to get access to the defective part. This morning I called Fast Plumbing, they told us to expect the service guy between 11am-1pm. Eric arrived at 10:00am. He diagnosed the problem just like the guy from last night but he thought outside the box. There was a way to fix it without unnecessary tile work. He did it. We would recommend Fast Plumbing, specifically Eric again. read more

I was notified by the meter reader that my meter was spinning out of control and they wondered if I had something running. Unfortunately I didn't have anything running so I had a leak. I called Fast Plumbing because they had free estimates and a good BBB rating, but they didn't have any openings for 2 days. The dispatcher apologized but mentioned the equipment the next plumber would need to detect the leak and if I had any questions to call her back. Instead of going through that trouble I went ahead and booked the appointment. The two guys that came out, Eli, Steven, quickly diagnosed the problem, clearly explained the issue and repaired the leak. Fantastic job and I will be using Fast Plumbing going forward. These guys did a great job installing a water softener. I was going to do it myself and had bought a bunch of shark bite fittings but changed my mind and called Fast Plumbing. I had planned an external bypass, a spigot on the soft side etc so I had so many shark bite fittings that the refund I got from Home Depot almost paid for what Fast Plumbing charged me to install it. They did a much neater cleaner job than I ever could have especially with all the unnecessary extras I was planning. So for just a few dollars more than I had put into parts to do it myself, I got it professionally installed. If I ever need any plumbing in the future I will call them again. read more

I have used Lee and/or one of his staff for several plumbing issues at my new-to-me house. First of all, there was a hidden water leak evidenced by the meter wheel spinning. It took a while to find it, but I don't know anyone that has the sophisticated leak detection equipment that Lee does. He was able to find the leak where we didn't even know ww a water line. Pretty good, I think. Also, he has a lot of experience both in commercial as well as residential. Communication is good (but that's a two way street), and is priced fairly. Plumbing work is expensive, it just is, but fairness is what you're looking for, and I think they are fair. Giving 5 stars. read more

I needed a plumber this morning, searched for Johnny Rooter on my phone and somehow ended up calling these guys. What a happy accident! They aren't kidding about being fast. Elliott was there and working on my kitchen sink in less than an hour. Their rates seem to compare favorably with the competition as well. Now I'm going to go on a rave about Elliott... This guy was great! You can tell that he really loves his profession, and treats each job like a new puzzle to solve. We've been using Fast Plumbing for a number of years and have always been very pleased with their service. Over the last couple of weeks we've needed a plumber twice, once to look at a noisy toilet and replace a pressure-reducing valve and today to fix a disposal. Joseph and José put in a new pressure-reducing valve, which also solved the problem with the toilet. Today Eric and Cody fixed the disposal. In both cases, they came out within a day of our call and took care of the problems quickly. They all came in masks and wore booties over their shoes while inside. read more

The quote I received was significantly better than other quotes and there was a team available right away. Cobey and Dillon arrived to pull my toilet, augur out my line, and replace the toilet less than an hour after my initial call for a quote. I called Fast Plumbing early in the morning when I found that my toilet had been leaking all night and I woke to a flooded floor! Lee and his associate came quickly. They got straight to the problem, told me what needed to be fixed, told me in advance what the cost would be and it was a very reasonable fee, and then they both (the owner of the company and his associate) proceeded to help me ring out my towels and dry up my floor when they were finished fixing my toilets. I have been working with Lee and his team for over 10 years. Fast, affordable, and honest. Over the years they have saved me more times than I can count. Most recently they replaced a cracked clean out and were able to inspect the drain lines on a home I had under contract. Despite the torrential rains they crew got to the home with a days notice, made the repairs, and gave us a full report on the home in the final moments of the option period. Eric at Fast Plumbing is first-class and a very pleasant person to work with. He gave us a cost break on the first house call because there were issues that couldn't be resolved at that point, and then showed up promptly to take care of matters when we called a couple days later. Eric installed a toilet that we had purchased, which turned out to have a bad float, so the tank didn't fill up properly. Nothing breaks during the week. Ever. Friday night we notice no hot water and water in the liner pan underneath the water heater. Found an old business card from the previous owner of the house and gave Lee a call. Lee was out on a Saturday afternoon within a couple of hours of my call. Verdict: dead water heater. Within short order Lee and another of his employees had us swapped out and ready to go. Could not rate higher in my experience. Hope I don't need anything else but if I do I know who I will call. read more

I contacted Fast Plumbing for a house interior water leak -- as detected by our rainwater pump turning on several times per hour when no water had been used. They were able to send techs within about an hour. Steven and Paul, two really nice, knowledgeable guys arrived, investigated, and fixed three problem toilets quite quickly. They were systematic and thorough in both finding the cause and testing that their repairs were successful. I can recommend and will use Fast Plumbing again when/if the need arises. read more
