Today I walked in with my two sons and asked about an oil change, even though it was already past 1 p.m. and they close at 3, they told me they could fit me in. While I was there I dealt with Phil, who is super nice and informative. He commended me and my children on their behavior and even gave them balloons, which they really appreciated. After the work was done, Phil explained any concerns he had for my car and then to top it all off sent me away with flowers and a thank you. Good customer service!! Friendly people!! I gave 3 stars out of 5 for a few reasons, they are not like Discount tire or Les Schawb. You can't just drop in if you have any tire issues. You will need to make an appointment!! Oh! and i did buy tires from these guys, Hercules was the name of the tires, price was competitive. My only complaint, they are quite noisy!! I also came in today because one of my tires was leaking from the valve stem. The owner told me they have to replace the TPMS seal. Mind you that I bought these tires from them few months ago. I truly believe I should have not been charged for this, because it was either a workmanship or a seal kit issue when they first installed the tires. I believe it should have been under warranty!! Granted the amount I had to pay was substantially small but its the principle!! doubt that I would be back to do business here again. read more

Good auto repair shops are as hard to find as good doctors, but I found one!! Courteous, professional and honest. I just had new tires installed on my 2014 Lincoln MKX. I had an appointment for 3:30 pm. I arrived at 3:15, and they immediately took my car to get started. Jeff Hemp was my courteous professional service advisor. I typically wrench on my own cars, so I am quite familiar with how to repair them. As I was waiting for the tires to be installed, I could overhear Jeff taking numerous calls from customers. His descriptions of the issues the customers were having were totally logical and sound. I never heard him even attempt to upsell customers. He just provided honest consultive advice. Just listening to him with other customers convinced me that he was knowledgeable and honest. I will be bringing in my Miata next for new tires and would trust him and his shop for any repairs I need in the future as I know he is the real deal. Thank you, Jeff. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for this shop! From start to beginning it was a great experience. I went in for a simple tune-up and oil change. I had mentioned that I recently started seeing coolant spitting out in the back on my engine. What it ended up being was a cracked intake manifold. It wasn't exactly a cheap fix, but Ed took the time to find the best deal on the part so his guys could install it. He advised that I had time to wait for the tune up and wanted to get the bigger issue taken care of first, then later on when I can afford it, come back for the tune up. He knew it was going to take awhile so he arranged for his wonderful and funny secretary to take us home and to bring us back to the shop the next day. I've never come across a place that would offer that. When I went to pick my car up the next day and it was about ready to go, there was a misfire, so instead of sending me on my way or worrying about me paying more money for them to look at that, Jeff took me to work and dropped my car off to me at work when it was finished. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an honest, reliable and comfortable place to take their vehicle. I will never go anywhere else. Never once did I get the impression that they just want your money; they genuinely care for their customers. These guys are the real deal and just all around great people. Wow. I used to think the term "honest mechanic" was a contradiction. American Car Care Center changed my mind. I was on the market for a used car in the Everett area. A 1996 Lexus ES300 for $1,500. Sound too good to be true? I thought so. I called around to a couple car shops in the area. Everyone was either too busy, or lacking customer service skills. I was pleasantly surprised when I came across ACCC. They had time for me, so I headed over and brought the car with me. I told them I was concerned about the quality of the car and asked that they perform a Buyer's Inspection. $69.99 is a low price to pay for the security of knowing you're buying a reliable vehicle. The staff were very kind and patient with me while I asked a series of questions. They put the car up in the air to examine it, and it didn't take them more than 10 minutes to find numerous issues with the car. Structural damage, oil leaks and more! They gave me valuable advice on the car, and saved me thousands of dollars down the road. The best part of my experience, is that because it took such a short time for them to discover these issues, they didn't charge me a dime! I've never witnessed such nobility from a mechanic. I can't say how much I appreciate the service I received when I went to this business. It was Saturday and they were busy which I know wasn't helped by the snow. I needed tires because mine were too old and no one would work on them. Phil took the time between his many customers to talk with me about the tires I needed. They got my tires in and put in by Monday along with a battery and help removing bolts so the proper parts could be installed in my bumper for my license plate. I highly recommend them. My car had a disaster after it was already leaking oil heavily so I had it towed. I was going to get it towed home but before I got home I realized I'd just have to get it towed to a shop so I did a quick search and found this and 2 other places near my house. I couldn't find a spot to drop a key at the first place, the second place didn't have anywhere to leave my car, and this was the third. I left it and dropped my key with a note under my windshield wiper to please call me in the morning. I had a busy next few days and almost forgot I left my car there, when the owner called me. I described the issues and he got back to me saying something about my spark plugs came loose. The repairs took a few days then I got busy again so I couldn't pick it up right away but they were understanding. The price to fix the massive oil leak and the engine issue cost significantly less than I anticipated so I'm a fan of this shop. If I got the car as early as they said I would they'd get 5 stars but this place is definitely a reliable shop. read more

I've been going here for about a year now. It's close to my home and right next to Fred Meyers, which is nice. I have been to many mechanics over the years, and it's a relief to always find the place that doesn't sound like they're screwing you over in some way or another. I thought this place was a tire specialty place (like Les Schwab or Discount Tire or whatever), but they do I think everything. Told me I was looking at about a 75 minute wait and was done in 40. Went over everything and sent a detailed text which shows work done. Excellent service! I chose Fast Eddie's Tire Pros because of the many positive reviews left by other customers. Shop owners might tell you whatever they think you want to hear to get your business, but I take the time to research the experience of other customers when choosing a business to pay for their services, especially when I know that I'm going to be spending a significant amount of money there. I had some pretty serious brake issues which included a gnarly grinding sound and some metal-on-metal, rotor-chewing damage to my front brakes. I also knew that I was due for tire replacement considering that I had 2 totally separate sets of tires with different wear, which can affect the drive train and transmission longivity. I had the pleasure of working with Phil and Jeff. Both gentlemen gave me an honest and accurate assessment of the issues my vehicle was experiencing without over-selling the issue or what would need to be done to fix it. They sent me full photos of the damages so that I could see it with my own eyes, and use a color scale to give an idea of severity. Included are the techs assessment of the damage and recommended actions, very well put together. I could have gone to any other shop but these guys are professionals and their work is legit. I got an amazing guarantee on the work and I know that if I continue doing business there, these guys will really take care of me. We have taken our car in before and had good service but will never be back due to the last time. We needed new tires. Could not afford all four so we got a quote for two now and two later. We took it in and after leaving were told it would be $150.00 additional of the quote and they needed to keep it for another day due to needing to put back in the tire pressure sensors. Now I don't have a problem with this if they told be before. I have a real problem since they didn't give us a choice, they just charged us. Isn't it their job to know how a tire goes back? A wonderful experience all around. From the time I called until the work was finished the experience was perfect. Beat my expectations. Phil and Jeff are professional and communicate very well. I needed brakes,tires and an oil change. Jeff was very accommodating to my work schedule. When I arrived at 7:45 am for my inspection he knew I needed to be in and out quickly to get to work on time. He had the bay opened and the rack ready for my car. They were very informative and called me later that morning with the estimate. They didn't try to sell me on extra items, were very reasonable in prices and lower than Costco and Les Schwab. My appointment to have the work done went well and right on schedule. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend Fast Eddies. My husband brought me to the shop when my car was ready and met Phil and has an appointment to bring his truck in this week. I literally just had the best customer service experience of my 41 years on this planet. I asked a buddy who he recommended for a mechanic and without hesitation he said 'Ask for Phil at Fast Eddie's on the speedway'. So I did just that. Phil is like the Uncle you always wish you had. This business model is how all businesses should be operating. Kind, patient, compassionate, honest, communicative, and professional. They took care of 2 vehicles for us within 2 days. The first vehicle hasn't been serviced in years. It sounded like a bucket of rocks. When I drove out of there, I'm sure they think I'm a crazy person, because the car had so much zip I literally 'Dukes of Hazzarded' it out into 99! It runs like new!! The second vehicle had been sitting for 2 years, been driven 68 miles over that time frame. A mechanic on Mercer Island looked at it and told us that it absolutely needed $1200 worth of work. Transmission, new hoses, major leaks, etc. I drop it off to Phil, the next day it was NINETY DOLLARS! Oil Change was all it needed, and I asked them to clean up the battery/wiring. I am floored that any shop who is given a vehicle and told 'I'll pay for whatever needs done' would come back and be honest enough to tell me it all checked out and just needed oil. Holy cow. On top of that, they even offered me rides to and from home to get the vehicles worked on! You've just obtained a new family for life. We have been a customer here for over a year and 1/2 now and will NEVER go any place else. We have had our cars towed there multiple times, driven them there and have always had nothing but top notch customer service. We even brought in my mother in-laws car thinking it needed service and they said it was in great shape and not due yet. To top this off....they did not charge me! We've been taking all of our cars to Fast Eddie's (formerly American Car Care) in Everett since we discovered them several years ago. Phil, Ed, and Jeff run the place with great efficiency and have been flexible enough to take us on very short notice many times. (When things stop working it's usually with no notice!) They are always super-fast with the repairs so we're without the cars as little time as possible. They are very reliable about exploring options to keep costs down--a recent transmission replacement cost far less than I was anticipating because they found a used transmission in good shape that was much cheaper than a new one. They absolutely do not take advantage of those of us who aren't knowledgeable about cars; they can be trusted to always be up-front with their diagnoses and cost-conscious with the repairs. Another thing I appreciate is that before my car leaves their shop they do a safety inspection and let me know about anything that is getting worn, could present a dangerous situation, or is otherwise in need of attention. They're not pushy about it and you never get the feeling they're trying to drum up business for themselves; they just hand you the list along with your receipt, explain what it is, point out anything that might be especially urgent, and then see you out the door--no coaxing, no guilt if you want to just leave it at that. It's great to know as much as possible about the state of your car and get advance notice about what you can expect in the way of upcoming repairs--what they are, how much they cost, and how long it will be before they need fixing. This service has been invaluable in helping us stay on top of things before they turn into more expensive problems. It's clear from management interactions with the techs who are in and out of the front counter area getting or returning keys, turning in paperwork on finished jobs, etc., that this business is run very efficiently and professionally; everyone has a job to do and they are always busy, there's no slacking or lounging around. The managers seem to have a good relationship with their employees as well as with their customers; the overall impression is one of harmony and capability, which is a large part of why we keep going back. I wish I could give more stars! I cannot say enough about this place. My car's water pump went out on a drive from Everett to Tacoma about a month ago. I procrastinated hardcore because I dreaded dealing with a car shop. I've had frustrating and unhelpful experience is the past and I just didn't want to do it. I searched for car repair shops near me on a whim on day. I was impressed with the professionalism of the website. It was easy to navigate and I quickly submitted a question about the cost of looking at my car for an official work order. Within two days I had a call back from Phil who asked me to explain the symptoms of my car and worked very hard to fit me in the schedule over the next few days. I gimped my car to their location on Thursday evening and Phil was immediately was able to tell me I needed to replace my water pump. It took all of 10 minutes to exchange keys, hand over my warranty info, sign papers and leave. Phil and co. took the time to deal with my frustrating warranty company and got my car fixed by early Saturday afternoon. In addition to handling things behind the scenes with grace and professionalism, I was able to pester Phil often asking for updates in addition to the ones he called and gave me. Phil and Ed were polite, efficient, honest, and their team fixed my car and had it back to normal in what I consider no time car repair shop wise. Please consider this repair shop when your car needs anything from a peak for an opinion or a full out job. A car repair is a stressful and time consuming ordeal.
