I wanted badly to love this place as It's been around forever and as long as I've lived here I never tried it until now. The Two stars are because of the food. The staff is very friendly and I loved playing pin ball while we waited. I like the small burger stand vibe , but the place is dusty and dated. I know it's August but the A/C was off and there was no air flow. As far as the food goes I had the Classic mega Moab , and my wife had the Philly cheese steak . We also got fries and onion rings. Sadly we weren't impressed, the food was hot and out in a reasonable amount of time. The burger meat was dry and the produce was ok , The cheese steak sandwich was better than the burger but pretty greasy and the guilt setts in before your finished eating. The rings and fries were ok, but looked like they were cooked in old oil . It just reminded me of Bowling alley food , greasy and overpriced. Decided to try fast Eddie's today after reading about all the hate they have been posting about on Facebook and I understand where some of the hate is coming from, Service was slow they had 3 people working that I could see, 1 person at the counter and 1 person cooking and 1 person outside talking , 25 minutes from ordering to walking out the door with my food, looked like 2 people's orders came out while I waited for mine Milkshake came out quickly and was almost finished by the time my burger and tots were ready, not sure why the bottom bun was soggy but after removing the bottom bun and the weird lettuce and squishy tomato the burger meat itself was pretty good, the tots were great, definitely won't be going back read more

This place cheats you! I ordered their fried mushrooms. Behind the the order taker is a metal where they have the sample size taped on a metal bar. On their it shows a "BIG" bag that says fried mushrooms & the $4.95 price of it. When we got home, they sent us the "SMALL" size of bag. When I called, the guy insisted that it comes in that (small) size. When I told that they should change the labels on the bags so they don't misrepresent it. Got a hot chick and onion rings from Eddie and the gals at MOABS. 12 years on from my original review they're still cranking out some of the 209's greatest hits. Philly cheese steak is a must, the shakes are great too. It appeared to me that the staff was properly protected, they even have a window to order from or complete transactions you can stand at outside. Proper signage asking for masks inside and social distancing if you are worried about that sort of thing. read more

I ordered the MOAB with Cheese, I live close so I got there within 4 min and the bottom of the bun was wet. This is the third time I have ordered from here when they are under new management the first time the burger was so greasy whenever I picked it up it dripped grease it was pretty bad but edible. The second time was actually really good and I thought OK I will definitely try them again. This is the third time and I don't think I'll be going back in all honesty I don't like the seasoning on the fries and that this bun was so wet when I ordered it within four minutes and got there within the 10 to 15 minute timeframe that they gave me I think they gave me an old burger I went to pay it was ready I was surprised. Food, service, atmosphere, price, all fantastic. My sister suggested this place as it was recommended by one of her clients. I have to be honest, I was a little reserved at first. I usually find these hole in the wall places cold and loud. I appreciate the volume of the music, cozy atmosphere, and terrific food. We had hamburgers, corn dogs, onion rings, milkshakes, and a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. At first I was a little apprehensive, because the Philly cheesesteak came with American cheese, but it worked. Along with the seasoning, it came close to replicating the traditional provolone and cheese whiz (mixed together). The mini corn dogs were pretty darn good too. We'll be back soon. The girl on the phone that took my order made a mistake and had the wrong burger down--Honest mistake. Where the bigger problem is, they didn't include other items that I ordered when I went to leave with the order. The staff was rude and awkward about the entire ordeal. Honestly, if you are on top of your game, then you can say whatever you want, but don't make a paying customer feel uncomfortable because you made a mistake. Also, I would strongly advise that the cooks wash their hands-- I caught them touching their faces a handful of times while I was there dealing with "not so fast" Eddie's horrible service. This is our first visit since new ownership. Although we were relieved the atmosphere wasn't changing too drastically we were very disappointed with the food. My husband had finally found someone who matched the patty melts he ate during the 70's when short order cooks were masters of the grill. Sad to say the bread was not rye and the cheese was different, giving it a taste equal to what he could get at the bowling alley. The Philly Cheese Steak was disappointing as well. I can't put my finger on why but the sauce had something to do with it. I was hoping when Eddie retired we'd still be able to enjoy eating there. But his name doesn't guarantee anything except the fish still have a home. I'm really disappointed. read more

First off 2 expensive in my opinion, to get the negative out the way. I believe the cheesesteak factory is less expensive. But this place is goooood! Those Phillies are on point! The perfect size! Very goooie! Fries were a little over cooked but I didn't mind it because they were still good. We called in for pickup and the employee was nice and accurate with the time estimated to be ready.
