Located in a strip mall right off Easton Ave very casual spot no where to eat inside so we huddle in the corner to eat since it was cold outside . I ordered my typical bacon, egg and cheese in everything bagel . I will say the sandwich fell a little flat. My bagel didn't really have much flavor it had some chew but a little denser than I like I felt the meat was a little skimpy but I did ask for my egg to be a tad runny which they managed do needed maybe some extra salt and pepper on the egg . I was a little curious about why the bagels were in bags instead of baskets not sure if they are baked off site and delivered or not . The bagel shops in town have all gone downhill but that hasn't stopped my cravings. Desperate, I decided to try Fast Bagel this morning. By 1030am the baskets were on the sparse side but I was delighted to see my 2 faves, egg everything and French toast. I ordered egg everything with extra butter, not toasted. I pretty much expect to lose money on this order - shops often charge me extra but never seem to actually add extra butter. Hmm. But y'all - peep my pics! The butter was ABUNDANT and sooo deliciously salty. I enjoyed the texture of the bagel too - the bottom was super crispy. There's an assortment of juices - again all my faves - Joes Teas and Tropicana grape juice. The place isn't cheap - I think my bagel was 3.69 or so. They are defining fast! This is a great spot to grab a bagel on your way for a road trip because not only are they fast service but also a great location on Easton which connects to major highways. The bagels are not dense and have a wonderful crust on the outside. I've only had the veggie cream cheese and it's tasty but doesn't have crunch. The veggies are chopped super finely. The variety of bagels is ok. I wish they had pumpernickel, rye, or a blend of both. But they do have a good variety of some uncommon like salt, garlic, egg everything. The coffee is self serve after you order. The coffee has has a cooler with limited milk options and large selection of flavored syrups. No inside seating. read more

Newer spot on the block and I'm stoked how close I am to this place!! They recently rebranded from a previous bagel spot that was okay and now focusing on quick and convenient breakfast sandwiches that are absolutely stacked! They haven't missed a beat keeping most of the staff on from the previous owner.... My go to is the belly buster or fast double that is packed with pork roll, bacon, egg and cheese. A majority of their bagel sandwiches come with a hash brown which was completely changed my life and is now mandatory anywhere I go. The new mobile app is very user friendly and has a rewards program where you can redeem points for sandwiches. Very convenient for ordering and reordering :) I started to branch out and get some of their signature stacks which have blown me away. The messier the better for me! read more

Yesterday I was rushing around doing errands and hungry, and noted Fast Bagel on Easton Avenue behind where McDonald's used to be. I enjoy a bagel with lox and tomato, so I stopped in and tried one. Fantastic! They made the sandwich exactly as I asked (very little cream cheese) which many shops never do, and they provided a very nice amount of fresh lox and tomato slices. The bagel was soft and tasty, too. Exactly as I'd asked. Nicole, who served me, was very nice and did a fantastic job. I truly enjoyed the lunch she served. I will put this shop on my list of favorites, and will certainly be going back there next time I'm passing through the area. read more

FIVE STARS. Was in the area hungry for breakfast. I felt like my only option was this bagel place or McDonalds next door. I chose this bagel spot and I DID NOT MAKE A MISTAKE!! I signed up with the app - very mobile friendly, easy to use. And they have a point system. Got 5$ off by making an account. So for 3 dollars and change (would've been 7-8$ without the discount), I got a DELICIOUS BLT bagel. The bagel contents were great but the plain bagel itself was toasted to perfection and crisp. Like I am so satisfied. I want another one. My boyfriend had the French toast bagel and he also was raving about it. The cashier was very rude to me. I asked for a 2 small sides (scallion and strawberry) of cream cheese as I didn't want the cream cheese on the bagel. Do NOT GO HERE! Waited 25 minutes for one sausage egg and cheese bagel. Quite literally nothing fast about this and the place needs a cleaning. Everything I've tasted here is delicious. I think what sets them apart from other breakfast venues in the area are their healthy options - the fresh fruit cup, fresh squeezed OJ and their specialty sandwich:"veggie sunrise" (I like to add grilled deli turkey but it's also great on its own!) Their pork roll egg and cheese sandwiches are delicious too - perfect actually. .... Also, they make great hash browns. Fast Bagel is our go-to place every weekend. They happen to also be down the street from where we live so it's also very convenient. I've never actually stepped foot inside myself since we order delivery or my husband picks it up. But we always get consistently good food. If we order bagels with cream cheese, they toast the bagels well and actually spread the cream cheese on both sides. If we order a meat, egg, & cheese sandwich, again the bagel is toasted well and they give such amazing portions of meat, compared to most other bagel shops. Also, a bonus here is that they have EGG EVERYTHING bagels, which are not usually offered at other places. If you want a solid perfectly sized NJ breakfast sandwich, you can't go wrong here. read more

This is my go to spot for bagels and bagel sandwiches. I'm a bit of a stickler for a real NY bagel, and it's very hard to find in central NJ. I've tried all the recommended and highly reviewed places in the area, and personally find Fast Bagel to be significantly better- I won't go anywhere else. Prices for sandwiches can be a tad high, upwards of $8 for the fully loaded breakfast sandwiches with extras- but it's not outrageous to where I don't come back. Plain large coffee is also expensive at 2.75 a cup, but there is a DD across the driveway if you want to get a cheaper or more extravagant coffee to have with your bagel. Despite that, highly recommend for the quality and taste. Order with the app- it's seamless and overall makes for a better experience. Early mornings can be busy, so ordering ahead on the app can save you a 15min wait in line just to order. Today for example, I ordered on the app and received a text that it was ready for pick up before I even got to my car. Walked in and grabbed it and left. Super fast, always pleasant workers. And the app lets you get points for free food and sides- nice perk. Don't forget to add a hash brown to your bfast bagel- trust me. read more

Ok so I ordered two bacon egg and cheese sandwiches ate mine and it felt waxy I look down open it up and there's literally a waxed parchment type paper stuck to the back of my bacon. It soon becomes evident that I've eaten half of the paper because what I spit out I can see chewed up paper and the paper is bitten. I'm disgusted reach out tor the restaurant they are dismissive and tell me they don't believe there's paper then they tell me they can't help me and to reach out to Grubhub. I give them 3 stars because the bagel sandwiches were ok. The customer service was meh. The name "fast bagel" is hilariously inept. It took me 12 minutes to get a bacon egg and cheese bagel. There were loads of people waiting for their orders also. There is not enough room for standing around nor are there chairs to sit on while you wait. This has happened 3 times. The problem seems to be that if you order bagels online for pickup you become the priority and not the people who walk in. They have to wait for all the online orders to be complete. I've been going to Bagel Peddler for years, but not in person for a while. I'd go in so often that I got to know the owners and staff. The place changed hands last year, and I'm glad to say that the quality and taste of the food is still exceptional. When the pandemic started, I was impressed that the new owners enclosed a note enumerating all the steps they would be taking to ensure they were following health & hygiene guidelines. None of the other places we've ordered take-out from have done that, and I think it's a good way to let customers know that an establishment can be trusted. My son swears by the Belly Buster, and I'm a fan of their Everything Bagel. The bagels are always fresh, often warm, and portions are generous. They have a nice variation of bagels. They aren't enormous which is perfect for me. The place is nice and clean. I was lucky to come when it was completely empty. Service was fast and precise. My bagel is nice and soft not chewy. Lighted gold top, just how I like it. Salmon is so fresh, not fishy. I sat on the side and enjoyed my bagel. I could hear the multiple orders coming in. I think the owners here are probably the nicest owners out of any place I've been to in NJ. They are just really friendly nice people. The bagels are fantastic. So much better than the D and D out in the parking lot. I think it says a lot about the place that it can stay in business behind a Dunkin. My only suggestion would be that they switch to a number system. Lots of times groups of 10 or so high school or college students come in and order one bagel a piece and it jams things up trying to sort out who got what egg and cheese bagel. I come here about once a week for my bagel fix. I usually get a bacon, egg and cheddar on a toasted bagel for around $4. Their bagels are not made in house but they do have your typical selection of assorted bagels that are dense and chewy with a slightly crunchy crust. If you're really hungry and want to try something new, I recommend the Belly Buster which has bacon, pork roll, hash browns and cheese. It's a great combination of fixings but my hash browns were a little cold in the middle as they did not heat it up enough. I decided to change it up and got a pastrami egg and cheese on a bagel. The pastrami tasted fresh and there was a fair amount of meat on ny sandwich. They also have traditional deli sandwiches, salads, wraps, drinks and containers of cream cheese spreads. Their veggie cream cheese seems to be a mix of cream cheese and butter which I am not a huge fan of. I'd prefer cream cheese only. I'm giving them four stars because their subs are disappointing with minimal deli slices. Their sandwiches come with half a pickle and a small bag of chips. Service is usually fast but may take a little longer during the morning rush. They forget to toast my bagel a few times even when it wasn't busy and I repeated it several times. A toasted and un-toasted bagel makes a big difference in my opinion. read more
