Classic old school decor, wood paneling and checkered table clothes, nothing fancy just good old fashioned eatery. Their portions aren't huge but they are also reasonably priced and the quality is what really shines at corner cafe! The people that work there are all super chill and down to earth, I love how you pay on your way out. Just tell them what you had and pay, like I said super laid back vibe. First I must say thank you, they didn't have to do it as it was just partial avocado. Replacing the avocado which they were out of with pack of cookies and a thoughtful note. First of all their food & service is excellent. The corn Nuggets were so delicious. The emplyees are friendly and considerate. Other restaurants need to follow their guidelines to be successful. Great place for breakfast! I had the egg platter and it was delicious. The eggs were fresh and the bacon was the best I've ever had. Normally hash browns are dry and have little flavor but these were moist and full of fresh potato flavor. The service was prompt and accurate and the place was neat and clean. read more

My family and I were looking for a casual restaurant or diner where we could quickly stop to grab some food. When we first arrived, we were a little unsure due to its outward appearance. As soon as we walked in though, we loved the homely feel it had. It was also the gentleman at the front desk, Jacob, who drew us in with his friendly and welcoming demeanor. I opted for the very veggie on a whole wheat wrap. Although quite ordinary, the wrap was great. It was loaded with fresh, crisp veggies and made for a very filling lunch. My mom ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich which I had considered. I tried a bite of hers and loved it! The chicken was well seasoned and definitely had a kick to it. No complaints on my veggie wrap, but I would probably order the Cajun chicken sandwich next time. We also got a couple orders of French fries for the group and all enjoyed them. They were really delicious - possibly some of the best fries I've ever had. I've been mindful of my fried food intake recently so maybe it's due to the fact that I haven't enjoyed fries in quite some time, but darn these were GOOD! There isn't much seating at this place which is something to keep in mind if you're planning to dine in. If you're not looking for anything fancy and just want a simple lunch, I would recommend stopping in here. They have an extensive menu so you're sure to find something you'd like. A heaven-sent lunch spot a mere mile away from my office! I went to Corner Cafe a few years ago, but went back again today to pick up a quick bite during my busy work day. I ordered the Somerset (chicken salad with crispy bacon) on a wrap. The first thing I noticed is that this cafe's "crispy" bacon is the CRISPIEST I have ever experienced. It was ahhmazing. You could feel its crispiness in your jaw when you took a bite. Hands down the crunchiest bacon I've ever had, yet it wasn't burnt, and didn't get soggy from the chicken salad. Mind = blown. The chicken salad was tasty and the wrap was a nice size, definitely big enough to hold me over until dinner, even without sides. Another big plus about this place is the service. The man who took my takeout order over the phone/rang me up in person was SO nice. You could tell he actually cared and wasn't just going through the motions. I ordered french toast at the cashier, poured my own coffee and found a table overlooking the enclosed porch through an inner window. I easily listened to a few conversations around me while scanning the online news. My meal arrived a few minutes later. Three slices of thick bread, transected diagonally, grilled dark brown, with a pile of bacon on top. Looked good to this hungry man. Spread the butter and poured the Smuckers syrup over everything, and got down to business. The bread absorbed it all, and tasted of vanilla and cinnamon within. Very good, although more than I could finish. The bacon's crunch complemented the softness of the toast. Coffee was an average brew. I came here today to try something new different. So, I ordered egg salad with cucumbers on a wrap. However, instead of the cucumbers I wanted bacon. When I got home I opened the container which contained my wrap. I immediately started taking pictures, which are attached by the way. It LOOKED better than it tasted. The egg salad was watery and there wasn't enough eggs. There was only bacon towards the end of my wrap. The only plus was the lettuce was very crunchy and the wrap managed to hold everything together after I opened it and closed it again to keep everything together. My meal was supposed to be $6.50 but because I changed the cucumbers to bacon I was charged an additional $1.50 plus I wanted Doritos Cooler Ranch chips which was an additional $1.80. The gentlemen at the register told me that if I got the chips I wouldn't have to pay for taxes on my chips. Anyway, I heard great reviews on this place but I was disappointed with my food. The service was very nice and helpful but I probably wouldn't go here again. The egg salad wrap at Cafe Amici is MUCH BETTER. read more

Updating my review since I eat here on the regular for several years now. The ownership changed a couple years back. (new owner even better looking :-). Looks like the new guy is doing some sprucing up, painting etc. I have never had a bad sandwich or service experience. It can get busy during the lunch rush, call ahead if you are worried you wont make it back to work on time. I see someone wrote the employees were not wearing masks, I always see that they are. Add to that a robust, creative and clear menu board. The hustle in the open back end is impressive and the restroom super clean. Now for my healthy breakfast choice How Low Can You Go?...so hot I couldn't eat it 10 miles down the road. That's a good thing. A cut in half wrap maybe since they knew it was take out? Excellent either way. The browned roasted turkey peeking out of the wrap, beautiful and aromatic. As for the taste, pretty good mix of sliced turkey with egg whites and melted Swiss. We were in the mood to try a different spot to eat and we decided on this deli. First off, the menu is extensive...almost overwhelming because everything sounds appetizing. We decided on the "meltdown" and the #2 sub which was an Italian mix. The croissant (that came with the meltdown) was excellent and not greasy which I appreciated. The #2 was huge but the bread outnumbered the meat so if you're looking for a meatier sandwich, this one may need a few extra slices.
