The fish was fresh and melted in your mouth, as for the hibachi, the man stationed there tonight was so nice and fast to get my plate out. Well my Foodie Friends it's been awile since I've visited my favorite Asian Seafood Buffet. Visited 9/14/2025 I must say it's as good as I remember it always being. Todays Sunday Brunch (Good all Day) was Fresh and plentiful and had a Great Selection. As always Shrimp Galore. It's where I go when I want a large selection of different shrimp dishes. All you see here and a lot more was Only $22.50 with my Senior Discount including my drink. There is a Tasty Teppanyaki Grill with a great grill master. Lots of Fresh Veggies and other items to choose from. Soups, Salads, Ribs, Chicken Wings, even Pizza for the kids , Vegetable Dishes and much more to munch on. Made me wish I could eat much more each visit. It's a good thing I don't live close by. Anyway it's a great Buffet and much less expensive than most in San Diego. Very much worth the visit. I took my parents here because they do usually enjoy the Asian buffets in North County. I saw that this was the sister buffet to Pan Asia Buffet in San Marcos, so we decided to come here! The ambiance inside is very modern, clean, and much more spacious. I think I actually liked this location better than the San Marcos one, which is strange because you wouldn't expect the interior to look the way it did from the outside. This buffet offers all assortments of food: the Mongolian grill, meats, seafood, Chinese food, American food, and the salad/fruits bar with the dessert bar. My parents seemed to enjoy the food, it's a pretty good price for a Sunday dinner with seafood. The sushi and fish were fresh, and the fried soft-shell crab was really yummy. Can't really complain as all Asian buffets have the same assortment of foods. I give it 4 stars for cleanliness, but the sushi bar was taking forever to get refilled again while we were waiting for certain fish to get. Service is good, they seem to grab empty plates pretty quickly. You have a self-serve for unlimited drinks and teas so you really don't have the need to get served much. We still tipped a bit for the bussers at least. read more

Sometimes you get tired of fast food which includes: burgers, burritos and tacos and want more of a variety... If you happen to be deep in the Escondido Area, this is a decent place to visit. Nothing flashy from the outside and not much more in the inside but what I can tell you is that the options are plenty. You're sure to find something that will make you glad you dropped in. For me, it was always the egg drop soup! Once in a while their seafood looks appealing too. You literally can't beat the price. I eat at Chinese buffets all over San Diego. This is by far the worst I have ever eaten in my life, anywhere. This is what happens when you have owners or managers that do not care! The food was so bad, I had to spit it some of it out. The Teriyaki chicken had little flavor 3/10. The orange chicken had little flavor 2/10, I had to spit it out. The Thai chicken was dry and had a weird aftertaste, 2/10. I had them cook some teriyaki chicken with sprouts, egg, mushrooms etc. on their grill and it was very watery 3/10 with little teriyaki taste. I even had the cook put extra teriyaki sauce on it. I think they're just trying to go super cheap on the ingredients. How do you make food with almost no flavor? The pizza was a 1/10, I don't think I would even consider it pizza. The fried rice was a 4/10. There was something black on my coconut macaroon, 2/10, you can see it in the picture. I did try two other coconut macaroons, 5/10. I had a small muffin and it was so weird tasting, I had to split it out, 1/10. I have never spit out a muffin in my life. The Garlic bread was a 5/10, possibly the best thing I have to eat there. The chicken wings were a 5/10. The cheesecake was a 1/10, I had to spit it out. They had pork chops, but they literally look like beef jerky, I didn't even try them. The salad bar looked okay, but I'm not a salad eater. The corn on the cob & pineapple was a 5/10. The white cake was a 6/10 and the dark cake a 4/10. When I walked in the place had a strong odor, like it had never been cleaned properly. The place wasn't noticeably dirty, but it was noticeably worn, like it had been here for 30 years and they had done little to no maintenance. They had the front door propped open and it was 80° and I was hot. Who likes to eat hot food when they're sweating? The server was fanning herself. Back by the grill, there's a really harsh odor, almost like a sewer odor. I used the bathroom and found it in disarray. No paper towels to wipe your hands on. By the pictures in the review, you can clearly see there is no maintenance or even caring going on here. I was here for an hour before she came and picked up my plates. You can see her sitting down watching videos on her phone. You have to get your own food, get your own silverware and get your own soft drinks & refills. After the first few bites, I contemplating asking for a refund, but I didn't want to argue with anyone. I thought "maybe I'll try some more items and there will be at least two or three items that taste good." I was wrong! I wasted $20 bucks! That's why I almost never try a new restaurant or buffet. Learn from my experience. It's really sad because I love Chinese buffets. There's one in National City, next to Peter Piper Pizza called "China Super Buffet" that is an 8/10. read more

This buffet experience cost $$ (the most on Sundays). The variety of foods was great. There was even pizza and fries for the picky child eater. The restaurant itself has soft wood tones. It would have been better if the dirty forks weren't in buckets right next to where customers can fill up their soda. There were two kind ladies going around each table picking up finished plates. Our family have been dining here for many years. The staff have become a second family to us. They are very welcoming and the food is always served fresh and very appetizing. The prices are very reasonable for a buffet style restaurant. It is self serve and includes beverage. We recently held a Celebration of Life for a loving member of our family. He dined there on a regular basis and his request was to have his Celebration of Life at Fasia Buffet. It was held in the restaurant's private banquet room which I believe has a capacity of 90' people. We were able to set up nice tables with memories of our passing family member. A nice feature was the large flatscreenTV which we were able to stream a video/slideshow of memories. Tried it today for a Saturday lunch. Cost was $18 per person and that included soda. Food was very good! I'm not a big seafood eater and there was more than enough varieties of chicken, pork, and beef. Rice and noodles were great along with the vegetable dishes. I've been to Pan Asian buffet a few times so i compare Fasia to them and I'll be going back to Fasia. The dishes tasted better, they had more and better soups (the wonton is a MUST), and deserts were better. The place is a bit more "serve yourself" (ie, no table service except for dish pickup which was prompt) but if you are okay with getting your own sodas, utensils, and using salt packets instead of shakers, it's a wonderful Asian buffet. read more

This place really lost their touch every time I come it's all mushrooms no chicken on the mushroom chicken you told him to replace it. They take about half an hour to put it in so that you don't eat it so basically you have to eat what else is left over. They keep the Employees drinks in the icemaker, which is absolutely disgusting. Ok... was surprised...all the food we tried was really tasty...with the exception of the spring rolls( frozen out of a box you get from Costco More Institutional and the Orange Chicken...spicey but meh ) considering you pull in the parking lot and you wonder if was open. This used to be the go-to buffet spot when I was little and it was Old Town Buffet. Hadn't been there in 8 years so thought I'd give it a try. Boy, did I regret that decision. It's gone downhill big time. Obviously I'm not looking for a gourmet meal or service when I go to buffets like this, but I'd like it to be at least be decent. For $16.95 (lunch), I could've (and should've) gotten a much better meal elsewhere. Walked in and register ladies barely looked up from their phones to charge me. They told me to sit anywhere, then I got to getting my food. No server in sight, saw people serving their own drinks then I saw an employee playing on their phone in the drink area. Food was cold and so bland. When done with my plates I thought they'd get picked up by the server, like any other buffet right? Wrong, I had to cleat my own plates If you love yourself, please don't go to this buffet. The sad part was that the restaurant was pretty full. For the price of a sandwich combo, you can get a full on hot meal with drinks and desserts. For weekday lunch, its $14.59 and dinners are $19.99. And I have to say, the food isn't bad at all. Of all the Asian buffets around, and believe me, I've tried most of them, this is now my favorite. For lunch, there is sushi, and limited sashimi. Also the teppanyaki bar is open should you wish to customize. The food overall was fresh and not overly salty. I especially enjoy the chicken wings and fried rice. Rice wasn't soggy or super hard like you'll find at some buffet places. The price also comes with unlimited soft drinks and instant coffee and tea as well as soft serve and fruits and desserts. To note, they have horchata and also Jamaica flower drink. Everything is pretty much self serve here. Even the drinks you get yourself which I prefer. The price was exceptional and they had a 10% discount for seniors. Food was ok and very similar to Pan Asia but the food at Pan Asia was fresher and better but cost was considerably cheaper at Fasia. Still pretty good. They've raised their prices by $2.00 after the Covid restrictions were lifted. Don't expect actual plates and silverware anymore, everything is disposable now. The selections are basically the same as before and still tasty. However, they've stopped putting avocado in many of the rolls at the sushi buffet. Food: Overall was great. I went on Saturday around 5 PM. As I already know that typical buffet, you do not want to go too late as you will get into situations like they don't replenish food, or leave the food cold, etc. Still, I saw a lot of customers have noodles, chicken wings, shrimp, but not many have fried crab and cold crab legs which was interesting. One of the reasons I gave 4, not 5 stars because the fried shrimp and beef broccoli were cold. The food that I feel like they are better than normal Chinese buffet were chicken wings (crispy and hot every single time), fried crab (was not fresh, but fresher than other Chinese buffet restaurants if you know what I mean and I think they are big if not bigger, cold (snow) crab legs - this was amazing as the entire time not a single one customer that took it. Even though I like warm/hot more than cold ones, still I think the legs were bigger and much fresher than other restaurants. I could taste sweetness from the legs. Soups (hot and sour soup, egg drop soup and wonton soup) - if you don't like thick soup, then this may be the place for you. I tried those 3 and they all passed. Well done! of course, French Fries, the kids love these. I am sure there are more and different persons have different tastes. Decent low-end lunch buffet. Hot and sour soup is serviceable. At the stir fry (Mongolian bbq) station you can choose vegetables, mystery white fish, chicken, and tiny beef pieces. They have a couple kinds of sushi which are pretty heavy on rice and scant on fish. Though they had some kind of salmon ceviche that was excellent. There are multiple versions of chicken - orange / teriyaki / Thai. And a couple of premade stir fried dishes with chicken and vegetables. Seafood choices include baked salmon, baked white fish, and seafood delight which is mainly shrimp with a few pieces of imitation crab. The fried food wasn't very good. Fried chicken wings and fried fish were very rubbery. For dessert they have the typical melon slices, cookies, and small slices of coffee-flavored cake (quite good). So they offer the best they can for the price. If you're looking for high end complex stir fry dishes you'll be disappointed. If you'll be happy with cook to order Mongolian bbq and some soup / salad / chicken / baked fish, it's a pretty decent place. Service was kind of cold. I walked in, looked around, trying to figure out if there was a hostess or cashier. An employee ran up to me and yelled, "You pay first!" They occasionally remove dishes but aren't very friendly.
