This story has obviously changed management recently and not for the best. It used to be a nice, comfortable and open environment. Now, the staff is cold, unhelpful and often times seem judgmental. We used to drive across town for this store because of the people, not so much now. Do your research online about a product before you go. They don't seem to know Jack about shit anymore. read more

Ok stepping out of my comfort zone and getting ready to write a review for an adult shop, went with some girlfriends to the Ultimate Woman's Expo that was in Phoenix this past weekend and Fascinations had a booth there, so we wondered on over to see what kind of things where on their table, filled out a little paper to maybe win a shopping trip and then got to spin a wheel for free stuff, we love free stuff!! One of my friends won a coupon for 50% off at the store, so we thought oh road trip to Tempe! We pulled up to the shop and I have to say, the store is bright, and doesn't give off a creepy perv feeling, we walked in and it seemed like every employee said hi to us right away , we laughed I noticed that they have about everything one can think of, from feathers to whips, condoms, flavored & scented lotions, shoes, clothes, board games and other various toys, and I have to say the staff was very friendly and helpful and answered all our questions. I discovered this store while looking for a costume for a party I was attending. I found a costume online that I could not order on one website, but discovered a similar one at Fascination's online website. so I went down there in person to check it out. I wanted a French Maid costume. They had everything I needed in their large selection of various costumes right in the store. Stockings, the dress, the hat, apron. I was able to get all that I needed right from this store. As far as the adult themed items in the store. Everything seemed so expensive and over priced. My goodness. I can't imagine spending that kind of money on some of those things. All in all, I wrote this review because this store is not a sleazy or cheesy type of store. Such a beautiful place with many selections to choose from, and I find that the prices are worth what you're paying especially with the lingerie and swimwear. Also, most of the staff were courteous and professional, as well as attended to my needs and/or whenever I had questions. I also appreciated that they did their best to wipe down the counters and wore face masks every transaction made. However, the reason why I'm giving this a one star is because of my experience with one of the workers, and I believe her name is Morgan, she just made my experience there god awful. When I came inside the store, I believe it was around night time or late afternoon, there wasn't a lot of people but it was not empty, and as I walked around I saw her multiple times on the store walking around and engrossed on her phone, not helping any of the other customers and myself. She didn't even notice me near her and asked if I needed any help, she just walked straight passed me with her phone on her face. If you're going to be just on your phone while at work, why even bother coming? Good thing there were two guys who were nice enough to notice me and asked if I needed assistance, they were really sweet and informative. Next, another thing that she contributed for the one star is her not following the store policy of keeping the mask on. As I was looking at the swimsuit section, I had noticed she pulls down her face masks frequently and never used any of the hand sanitizers when touching the other merchandise on the register. There was this one instance whereas she was trying to round up a customer, she pulled down her mask completely off and decided to have a full-on conversation with another coworker and looked back at the customer with the mask still off. It made me feel unsafe and at-risk how she just keeps pulling off her masks without any sanitation. Finally, I got to the register to buy my stuff, and I was fortunate enough to be not rounded up by morgan and as I was being helped at the register, she did what I think would be the most unprofessional thing I could have possibly seen on earth. Mind you, there were other customers, it wasn't just me. She started dancing out of nowhere, not just a few moves but twerking and getting low on the floor I would assume, and we all kind of look at her like "why on god's green earth would you do this at a public place, much less your job?" There were other customers in line waiting to get checked out, and this poor sweet girl was the only one tending the register while she was trying to make the register a dancefloor I guess. So, after her dancing fiasco, as I'm still being checked out, I saw she didn't wipe off the countertop when the customer flopped her stuff. As my register and I were conversing about how the product works and me liking fascinations, she manages to butt in our mid-conversation again and pushes her way into the conversation as she was trying to check out someone. As the lady who was helping me in the register talked about the sale they had going on, she interrupted her by telling the customer loudly "Oh she'll be able to help you okay" and just stopped checking the customer and walked out of nowhere into the floor. Now, the lady who was helping me just had to hurry up and bagged all my stuff, which I felt bad for because she was really sweet and I felt like she could have been helped. I forgot her name but she had a beautiful smile. Overall, it was an okay experience but pretty distasteful cause of one of the workers there, and I will come back again because it's still an amazing store, but I hope I'll never run into Morgan again.
