Best. Service. Ever. I parked on the street in downtown Medford on a cool, crisp, and gloomy day. Once I came upon my car I noticed my car window was shattered. Nothing humbles you faster than a cracked windshield. Thankfully, these folks know exactly what they're doing. I called down to get a quote and was greeted with kind, friendly, and exceptional service. My window was ordered and I was eager to get it replaced. When I went down I was treated as a friend and a valued customer. The two in the shop definitely kept it lively. And, as I ventured to the window to watch the man, the myth, the legend himself replace my window - I was on the edge of my seat as if I was waiting at my home window waiting for an Amazon package to arrive. The service was promptly, skillful, and swift as a coursing river. When I called around for price inquiries I took note of a handful of places that, when hearing the price, my jaw physically dropped. Upon scrambling to pick it back up I saw my options and realized I was saving (I could buy/replace so many windows) with Farrell's - saved my windshield and my wallet. Rare combo. We recently purchased a "fixer" home in Shady Cove, but before closing on the purchase we used Farrell's Glass to give us an estimate for the replacement of all of the blown picture windows in the front. We were surprised by the quick estimate and the reasonable amount quoted, so we went through with our purchase. After closing, Rob and his son Geoff met us at the house to go over the estimate and to answer our questions. The order was made and within a couple of weeks Rob and his team returned to install the huge windows and three sliding doors, complete with the repaired screens they had taken on the 1st visit. They did and exceptional job on a pretty difficult task, working on scaffolding on the 2nd story. Rob is one of the most knowledgeable and kindest guys we have ever worked with and his team is unbeatable! Excellent experience with this establishment. My sunroof actually flew out while I was driving !! They were one of the few factory authorized Webasto shops in the area, so I went to them. Communication was good throughout the process. They took the time to follow up with the manufacturer, and kept me in the loop as far as timing went. once the parts arrived, they got me into the shop in very short order, accommodated my schedule, and got the work done super fast! Before leaving town on October 23rd, I made an appointment to have the windshield in my car replaced at Ferrell's Glass Service in Medford. My appointment was for 09:00 on Tuesday, November 10th. I was told the installation would take a couple of hours. Based upon that information I made other plans for after 11:00. On November 9th, I received a call, from Ferrell's, reminding me of my appointment the following morning. I confirmed that I would be there. I live about an hour away from Ferrell's, so I got up a couple of hours before my appointment to be there on time. I arrived at about 08:50 and checked in. They needed to do an assessment of my car to check for damage. During that assessment I asked how long my car would take (expecting to hear that it would take a couple of hours based upon what I had been previously told). To my great surprise and chagrin, I was told it would be sometime in the afternoon because there were other cars in front of mine! I made an appointment in good faith, I was there on time and made other plans based upon my expectation that the work would be done at the appointed time, not when Ferrell's were able to get to it. When someone makes an appointment that appointment should be honored. If I had wanted to take my chances on getting the windshield installed, I would have not made an appointment. When I talked to the manager about what happened he was basically tone deaf to my complaint (i.e. when an appointment has been made that the work should commence at the appointed time). All I can say is that it was a very disappointing experience and I will not be going to Ferrell's again. read more

More than just a 'Glass Store'! Needed new wheels for a 1960's vintage sliding screen door. Been searching for at least 2 years. Called Farrell's on a recommend from a friend, and they said "Sure"! Hubby took it in, and within about 15 minutes they had them replaced, at a very reasonable cost. Super helpful and friendly, highly recommend. Got to love it when a guy keeps old parts in a tackle box. :) read more

I paid $400 to have my windshield replaced and was assured that it was covered by a lifetime warranty. Two weeks later, my new windshield has a giant crack in it. Upon returning to the shop, I was told that the crack was not covered by my warranty because it was caused by an "impact" and wasn't related to the installation. They refused to provide me with further assistance. I find it hard to believe that my new windshield cracked two weeks after getting it put in by chance. I recommend looking around for a company with more integrity. read more

Boy oh boy..... Needed to replace some refrigerator shelves and Farrell's had choices for me along with experience. They quoted me one price when I came in to order it was lower, go figure. Wont have them for a few days, thinking they will be just what I need. Seems to be a popular, effectuate shop, they had a huge stack of organized orders in process. We would not go anywhere else. We use Farrell's for all of our glass and acrylic needs. I wanted to protect the wooden windowsill in our kitchen, so I had Farrell's custom cut a piece of acrylic to protect it from the houseplants we keep there. They fixed our sideview mirror, and have custom cut other glass needs, too. All jobs done fast, friendly and very reasonably, as well. Outstanding service, value, and workmanship. Thursday night at 6PM, the rear window of our SUV was smashed. By 11AM Friday morning, it was fixed. We called around to several local shops to get price comparisons, and they were all more expensive and 3-5 business days out. We asked Heidi how soon they could get to it, and she said, "How soon can you get here?" This is the kind of business you hope you never have to call, but if we ever need glass again we'll go straight to Farrell's. read more

So far this company has stranded my family without a working bathroom for 6 days and there are no apologies for their lack of professionalism or regards to customer service. If it wasn't for the fact that I don't want to wait for yet another 10 days on a different company, I wouldn't even let them in my house to install the shower doors! I've been treated to rude behavior and attempts to lay the blame on me or my contractor for their ineptitude, lack of follow through, and mismanagement/scheduling errors. I showed up 10 mins before they closed and from the smiling gal at the front desk to the repair man in the shop, the service was AWESOME! I wish I could post the pictures of Farrell's substandard work. First of all the technician was 4 hours late. He seemed irritated and flustered. He hastily sped through his work of installing a new house window and fixing the sliding glass door windows. He left black grease marks on the doors and windows and a sharp bolt protruding 1.5 inches out of the handle that the whole family uses. Additionally, he left broken glass covering the driveway where he worked. Ridiculous that I would have to suggest a drop cloth and shop vacuum. Shoddy. When I called to complain the owner didn't care, said he would take $35 off of a bill over $1,000. So unprofessional. Does not inspire confidence in their work and I do not recommend Farrell's. Totally unacceptable. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!! read more

This place is great! I've been here a couple times now. The first time I had to get a bunch of glass pieces cut to put on top of tables and vanity dressers. All the pieces were perfectly cut and fit great. The second time I had a thin mirror cut to go behind the glass of an old mirror that had worn silver. They were great help and cut the mirror exactly to the odd shape of the original. I will definitely be going here again for any future glass needs. The staff is very kind and friendly! read more

Farrell's Glass is a Joke! No quality what so ever! Yes, you do pay more for sure, and still do not get quality! I have a classic truck that needed a windshield installed. When I received my truck back the rubber was warped. Of coarse Farrell's glass blamed it on my truck. I know these trucks, I have been dealing with them for 25+ years. So, even if it was the truck, why would they not let me know BEFORE they installed the windshield. The problem was in the rubber they ordered. Instead of replacing the rubber, like a professional would do, they tried to heat and glue it down. This truck is a show truck, a classic, I can not believe the treatment I received from Farrells Glass. I would not advise anyone to go there. read more
