I contacted them to ask some questions and get a quote. They were very quick to reply and accommodating. Thank you so much!

I agree with Fuzzy D. Rogue Valley Door is a solid company. They build a nice product and because…read moreits natural wood, it has to be taken care of. If you don't have a sufficient overhang and your door will get a lot of sun during the day, then you'd be better served going with a fiberglass door which is built to withstand the elements. Wood has to be taken care by sheltering it from the sun / rain with an adequate overhang. Seal all 6 sides, especially the top and bottom where water has an easier time getting in. Lastly, if you're buying a wood door whether its Rogue Valley or Simpson, do your research. Ask questions. Plan ahead. These are special order doors so will take time to be built. Hire a qualified finisher and installer. But before anyone touches your new beautiful door, inspect it for any flaws. If you see something, say something. Resolve any potential issues right away.

Bought a Rogue Valley Door from Soundview Windows and Doors. The following is the review I left…read morefor Soundview. My new Rogue Valley door is cheaply made and will require day of finishing work just to get it to paint quality. DO NOT BUY ROGUE VALLEY. And shame on Soundview for suggesting this company: I ordered a wooden SDL French exterior door with two sidelights for nearly $8,000 (installation was an additional $2,500). Matt, the salesperson, was great throughout the sales process. Unfortunately, everything went downhill after the installation began. The door arrived with a broken pane, gouges & tears in wood, peeling primer, and large globs of adhesive in all four corners of each of the 35 divided-light panes, which would make painting the door extremely difficult. See photos. Do not buy from this company.

Nick changed the first 2 appointments we had with him, thus wasting our time since we had set aside time to meet with him. Finally, the third time he set an appointment with us, he was over an hour late, again most disrespectful even though we were trying to give him one last opportunity to bid our job. After spending over an hour with him, he promised to have a quote for us by the following Tuesday (this last meeting was on a Thursday). When we received nothing by the following Thursday, 2 days after we expected his quote, I left a message to please let us know status. He did not return our call. I left him 2 subsequent messages over 2 weeks, asking what is going on, but he did not bother to respond. In the last message, I asked him that if he no longer wants to bid the job, he could at least simply have the decency and professional courtesy to let us know. That was almost a week ago. AND STILL HE HAS NEVER CONTACTED US AFTER WASTING SO MUCH OF OUR TIME! This is a rather stark indication of the true character, or lack thereof, of this individual and what you can expect if you engage him. We strongly recommend you go somewhere else. Lord knows what may have occurred if we had given a deposit and hired someone such as this who demonstrates such an incredible lack of respect for others! We are in Grants Pass, NOT NEVADA. Address w/ Google needs to be updated.

BUYER BEWARE OF THIS BUILDER My rating of this company is not to go an a tangent but to speak facts…read moreand truth. SO BEWARE IF YOU USE THIS COMPANY We hired this company in good faith and at first all was good as we met to discuss plans and site prep. I will outline each area we had issues with and the outcome. 1 - CONCRETE Back Patio was supposed to have more lines (I don't know the word for them) but to stop cracking. We were told by at least 3 other companies there should have been 1 to 2 more lines. That didn't happen and within months of moving in there are cracks through our concrete. The garage has about 6 areas where there are chunks out of the concrete. And we were told they would be fixed. To this day nothing was done about them 2 - Electrical - within the first 3 months of moving in we had to have breakers replaced as the breakers that were used to begin kept breaking and shutting out lights and power down. Also they were supposed to come out and put electrical in the floor of our living room. Power is ran to the underneath but after calling numerous times they still have not been back (1 and 1/2 year later). Also now we just had an outage with our Well. the Pump company had to come out and run a 50 yard external temporary cable to the Well Head from our garage until we can find the wire that is bad. THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN ON A HOUSE THAT IS JUST OVER A YEAR LIVED IN. 3 - Cleaning - After the contractor was supposedly completed, we were told a cleaning crew was comping out to clean the entire house. We were told EVERYTHING... NOTHING was done and we were charged for it. My wife had to get on her hands and knees to clean the entire house. To be transparent on all sides, we received a lump sum of money from the bank back to us that was supposed to to the contractor. We didn't want the money and nor did we ask to keep it. All I told the contractor was come finish the jobs and we will give you the money. I said here is a list of things and he didn't like that very much and sent an email to us to keep the money he was done. So to conclude, instead of sitting down and fixing the issues and getting his money he decided to get upset and hold grudges. Update: I called him on 3-13-24 to ask if we could talk about how we can work to get this well fixed and I treated him with nothing but respect and all he could say to me was I was contacted by the Electrical Company and the Rogue Valley Pump company and they called you a liar. I am not sure what that means.
