DIY is sketchy at best 2) looong re-screening lead times...and actually, looooong lead times if buying new screens. We did both, it took 5-weeks for a small job. Not a big house we have. 3) They say they'll "contact you" when stuff is ready for pickup...guess what? Never a call...or email...or text. Nada 4) Rudeness. There's just an "attitude" with these people. Unfriendly vibe. So, no, I can't review them low enough. Use them at your own discretion. I bet donuts to dollars you'll come away just like me.

Jim's intervention addressed my issues with the Ashland shop and has restored my faith in buying local. Initial one-star review: Do yourself a favor and work with Bill's Glass in Medford instead. I'm not going to identify/shame the individual by name, but the person responsible for intake in Ashland is incompetent, and you'll find yourself frustrated with the shop's inability to provide basic customer service. They make commitments, fail to meet them and then just make excuses. Sorry, I know it's inconvenient to have to travel to Medford when we have a Bill's glass in town, and I believe it's important to support local businesses. But without dramatically improved customer service in Ashland you will be frustrated and, several weeks later wind up going to Bill's in Medford anyway.

Nothing humbles you faster than a cracked windshield. Thankfully, these folks know exactly what they're doing. I called down to get a quote and was greeted with kind, friendly, and exceptional service. My window was ordered and I was eager to get it replaced. When I went down I was treated as a friend and a valued customer. The two in the shop definitely kept it lively. And, as I ventured to the window to watch the man, the myth, the legend himself replace my window - I was on the edge of my seat as if I was waiting at my home window waiting for an Amazon package to arrive. The service was promptly, skillful, and swift as a coursing river. When I called around for price inquiries I took note of a handful of places that, when hearing the price, my jaw physically dropped. Upon scrambling to pick it back up I saw my options and realized I was saving (I could buy/replace so many windows) with Farrell's - saved my windshield and my wallet. Rare combo.
