When I requested an alternate quote with details of what I wanted left out, I was ghosted for another month. Even worse, I was working directly with the owner. He could have at least given me and ETA of when to expect the quote or informed me that they weren't going to work on my house. My impression is that this company's tactic is to wait long enough that the client forgets what was discussed and then up-sells without discussing. Then if the client calls them out on the up-sale, they're ignored. I will never consider doing business with Better Built again, and I will share their unprofessionalism with everyone I know

After this experience I left a review here on Yelp sharing my negative experience. I immediately received a message apologizing for the lack of follow-up "due to being busy." So, we talked to them about our needs and they assured us they would get us on the books for an estimate. Thus, I came here and deleted my review as they seemed very sincere. Well, after 1 year of calling them back several times, getting multiple excuses, and absolutely no progress and/or follow through we finally have given up. It is absolutely mind boggling to us that a company would blow off a customer willing to spend their money with them; especially people as patient and understanding as we are. It is really sad how Coleman Creek Construction has wasted our time. If this is how they manage the beginnings of a project, I hate to think how they manage the actual project and construction. We have since found another contractor that has been absolutely great and responsive. I advise you to do the same as your time will be wasted with empty promises and excuses.

Structural, walls, appliances, hvac, electrical plumbing and so on, this was a major undertaking. Of course although we promised ourselves that we would stick to the final plans we couldn't help ourselves and added numerous modifications to the house. We are finally nearing the end of this process, we lived in the house during the renovation which is always a hard thing to do but CCC kept the house as clean as was possible. So what do we think of CCC. Professional Skilled Quality of work was fantastic Punctual Organised We are thrilled with the result CCC may not be the cheapest builders in town but having worked with other builders in the past the extra cost, if any was well worth it A big thank you to Michael, Brian and especially to Josiah who managed the day to day process and was instrumental in performing so much of the works If you are considering building a new home or renovating an existing home in the Ashland area we would strongly recommend you consider CCC.

I had to proactively pursue them for status, which seemed to be received with bother. After about seven weeks and several excuses, I was offered a refund of my deposit because "I'm too busy to follow up more on what happened to this order..." Wow. Sorry to have been such a hassle for you. My bad. Unprofessional in a small town can't be a good thing. I'd recommend making another choice if it were you.

First they crazy-overcharged for a tiny deck that needed a decent waterproofing seal. They said only his most expensive product would do the job. Then they left it half done and very sloppy. I was asked to remove that negative review when they came out to "fix it". Well they did NOT fix it. And once the rains started we accrued significant damage and cost to both the outside and the inside of our home including mold damage and total inside ceiling needing repair now (Pix included). The owner told us yesterday in person that they would fix it. Now today he writes saying that he won't. Sadly this is just really bad business and very costly mistakes on their part that is left for us to pick up their improper work. I warn anyone to look around for other options and businesses before moving ahead with Rougue Valley Roofing. They do not stand behind their work and they do not behave professionally. What a mess. Sorry to have to write a bad review but this one they very much earned. Ugg.

The owner set an appointment, was punctual and courteous, and showed me samples. He quoted me a fair price, and I accepted. He started the work within the following 10 days, and he completed it to my satisfaction and in a timely manner, even during a rainy day. The roof looks fantastic; they cleaned up after the job was done. His crew was polite and diligent, and I highly recommend his work.

Nick changed the first 2 appointments we had with him, thus wasting our time since we had set aside time to meet with him. Finally, the third time he set an appointment with us, he was over an hour late, again most disrespectful even though we were trying to give him one last opportunity to bid our job. After spending over an hour with him, he promised to have a quote for us by the following Tuesday (this last meeting was on a Thursday). When we received nothing by the following Thursday, 2 days after we expected his quote, I left a message to please let us know status. He did not return our call. I left him 2 subsequent messages over 2 weeks, asking what is going on, but he did not bother to respond. In the last message, I asked him that if he no longer wants to bid the job, he could at least simply have the decency and professional courtesy to let us know. That was almost a week ago. AND STILL HE HAS NEVER CONTACTED US AFTER WASTING SO MUCH OF OUR TIME! This is a rather stark indication of the true character, or lack thereof, of this individual and what you can expect if you engage him. We strongly recommend you go somewhere else. Lord knows what may have occurred if we had given a deposit and hired someone such as this who demonstrates such an incredible lack of respect for others! We are in Grants Pass, NOT NEVADA.
