We had a soft floor in our bathroom from a water leak and were hesitant about where to go for help. We started at Marble Concepts & Designs 541-664-1256 as they had installed the shower surround and vanity for us 15 years ago. Shawn came to our home with a contractor he trusted, Mike from VALLEY HOME IMPROVEMENT. 541-944-8952 We were impressed with their ability to assess the problem and the vast array of people they had available to fix our problems. We decided they were the team we would be confident having them do our job. They were ready to schedule but we actually asked for about a week delay because of scheduling problems we had. Mike and his crew of two men arrived on Tuesday. Four days later after much noise and confusion we have a brand new bathroom. Mike's crew removed shower and surround, toilet, tile, sub flooring, cut out the water damage then started repairs, reinforced the floor from foundation, installed new sub floor, removed wallpaper, replaced sheet rock, painted. Then outside workers started to arrive. Plumbing, electrical, vinyl installation, walk in shower and surround install and probably others I may have forgotten. All of this was arranged by Mike as we just watched in awe. We have heard so many horror stories about home remodeling that we expected some hitch along the way but had none! Questions were answered no matter how stupid. Everybody was kind and made every effort to please us. When they left each night everything was clean. We did not wait on anything the scheduling was perfect. This was a time and materials job and it beat the competing big box stores estimates by a bunch! Shawn saved us quite a sum because he was able to match the 15 year old vanity perfectly so we did not have to make any changes to one entire wall of the bathroom. Mike will do any job, large or small. Our honey do list is now a Mike do list and is growing. We will definitely call these local small businesses again. Excellent work and a very reasonable price. A ++++ First off Mike the owner is a very nice man who knows what he is talking about. He stopped by the house with his worker Cody and talked with us about what will be done. He is a very friendly man who takes pride in his business. Cody then did the work and was very professional. He did a excellent work installing our range hood and stove. Very detailed oriented and didn't skip any necessary steps. AWESOME JOB. WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND! I never post any reviews but felt like I had to because of the excellent work that Cody did and how Mike the owner explained everything in detail.
