They bid a small job of another type, took a deposit, then doubled the deposit, both of which we paid. They ordered materials. Then we were forgotten. I had to proactively pursue them for status, which seemed to be received with bother. After about seven weeks and several excuses, I was offered a refund of my deposit because "I'm too busy to follow up more on what happened to this order..." Wow. Sorry to have been such a hassle for you. My bad. Unprofessional in a small town can't be a good thing. I'd recommend making another choice if it were you.

He could have at least given me and ETA of when to expect the quote or informed me that they weren't going to work on my house. My impression is that this company's tactic is to wait long enough that the client forgets what was discussed and then up-sells without discussing. And once the rains started we accrued significant damage and cost to both the outside and the inside of our home including mold damage and total inside ceiling needing repair now (Pix included). The owner told us yesterday in person that they would fix it. Now today he writes saying that he won't. Sadly this is just really bad business and very costly mistakes on their part that is left for us to pick up their improper work. I warn anyone to look around for other options and businesses before moving ahead with Rougue Valley Roofing. They do not stand behind their work and they do not behave professionally. What a mess.
