I asked about a coloring and he said that it doesn't do well. Then he said it would turn white. After they took out the old concrete they found what they thought was a good base material in place. They we're supposed to remove it and put in gravel. They left the old in. When I asked what the discount would be he said he would give me $150 off for the gravel. Nothing for the labor they didn't have to do. After the pour they started making the contraction lines. One of the guys who seemed most experienced said there should be lines where the concrete turned. The Forman agreed but said it would be too hard. Well sure enough a week later cracks appeared at those locations. When they where done the Forman said they used too much water. A couple weeks later I call Travis to come see the cracks. He said concrete cracks. Then I told him that the Forman said they used too much water and it would take longer to cure. Travis said you can't use too much water. This of coarse is the leading cause of concrete failure and he said it might take a year to cure. Then as the concrete started to to cure black blotches started showing up. These I learned later were from slopping on a drying agent instead of spraying. Then the crazing a the brown broom marks because the broom was in the mud. In my opinion these guys didn't do a good job and all Travis could say is sorry you didn't like the job we did. $16600. And it might not last long.

He responded immediately and stopped later the same day to take a look at my yard. I received an estimate quickly (same day). After getting a few more estimates I hired More Life for the project. They were able to start the following week. Throughout the project Jose answered all my questions and made sure I was happy with the progress. He made me feel at ease and confident in their work. In addition to installing pavers, they reorganized/installed irrigation for my new yard. The pavers turned out beautiful thanks to More Life Construction!

There were 2 mid 20's skinny men along with the owner that packed for 3 hours ea. There was a staging area in the garage for items to be "packed" & they did not do that. The 2nd day, the owner disappeared for at least 1 1/2 hrs, did not state that he was leaving. The 3 individuals he had that day ran out of packing boxes and wasted time. We did not finish til 8 that evening & the storage unit is a nightmare. I left my husband and they didn't read 8 1/2 x 11 notes on cupboards & other areas, acknowledge labeling for what stayed there and what went. LEFT things behind and moved things to storage that were going to my new place & took things they shouldn't have. The storage unit is a MESS! I called the other moving company that was referred to me to let them know [They were busy when I need to move] - The first company apologized, thanked me for letting them know & for me to call him when I do move again. They billed $1100 and overcharged ($500) for a timer and three solenoids after having a long conversation about not using an expensive timer. A simple Google search revealed the parts should have cost $200 at most. When called back out to repair a leak on the exposed pipes they dug this hole and said they couldn't do the repair today. They claimed that the damage was done by the landscaper which happened to be me. They gave me no time for scheduling on the repair and left the hole as is. The next day when I called to ask when they would be coming back the owner told me "soon." I pressed the matter and got "next week" after being talked over repeatedly which got me upset. Finally he said they would come on Monday but wouldn't come back before that to fill in the hole they left behind. Because I expressed my disappointment (I admittedly lost my cool at this point) and did curse once, he then refused to come back to do the job. When the owner said he would not come back I hung up the phone. Then the owner texted me with an offer to fill in the hole after he refused to finish the job. I texted back saying no and "good luck with your business." The owner then texted me back with further insults and I blocked his number. In ten years of being an HOA president I have never had a business do such a poor job and be so unwilling to do basic safety protocols. To be clear: All I asked for was to have a schedule and to come back that day to fill the hazardous hole Action Irrigation left behind. I cursed once (f'ing) and was never directed at the owner. My ire was justified by the overcharging, lack of responsibility, poor work, and the fact that I had to pull teeth to get an actual date for the return to perform repairs.
