I recently requested a quote for a gutter repair at my home and had an entirely different experience. He flat out told me that I needed a new set of gutters because it was too labor intensive to repair them. I asked him for a quote then to replace them and told him to take a look and knock on the door if he had any questions. Next thing I knew, he had just driven off and never sent me a quote. I had another company come out after and tell me yes, it is a big job to repair and reseal, but he said my gutters were in very good shape and it would be wise to clean and reseal them than to replace them. In the end the contractor that was doing facia wood replacement removed the gutters, cleaned them out entirely, resealed every joint and replaced them and they look perfect. In addition, Robert at Rainy Day Gutters was down right rude. He wanted to add an additional downspouts right in the front of the house and I asked would that mess up the esthetics? And he replied, well you can just leave it and have the water rot your wood again. The contractor that did the repairs said another spout was not needed. The wood rot was entirely from the leaking seams which he repaired. ​
