Today I had my new Shaw carpet installed. It looks incredible and was so much more cost effective than competitors in the Rogue Valley. It feels like velvet and like I'm walking on a cloud. We recently contracted with Completely Floored to install over 500 sq. ft. of carpet in our historic home. The experience was perfect from start to finish! Firstly, our sales associate, Bonnie was so helpful and knowledgeable, I felt we were provided with excellent information from which to make a choice of carpet. Then the buying process was so smooth and different than what we have encountered before. The material was pre-paid, the rest upon satisfaction of the job received. The installer was incredible. He was an artist! Our home has a lot of 120 year old delicate woodwork with a lot of cut-ins and edging and to make it worse, the carpeting was installed on two landings and 3 flights of stairs. The installation was flawless, the attention to detail was the best I have ever seen. The finished job was beyond gorgeous, we are so happy! The last carpeting job we contracted for was with a big box store and it was a nightmare from start to finish. This transaction has restored my faith that there are high integrity businesses out there that use expert craftsman. These folks are unconscionable. If you match their expectations of how a person should dress you might get a better experience out of Peggy and Ross/Russ...but I doubt it. Would have happily paid a bit more to buy local, but their shoddy customer service, their post-hoc tac on of freight, and their blatant disregard for COVID safety precautions make this place a hard pass. Try any of the other flooring places. read more

A horrid installation experience of vinyl plank flooring. The outstanding issue that still remains is gaps between the floorboards which was already supposedly addressed once, and the boards have now shifted to leave an even wider gap. Previously, they were back several times to fix nails that were left that stuck up to damage and partially protrude through the flooring and at least one of the gaps. The store is now arguing that the product is responsible for the gaps and it's somehow a fault of the product, which it clearly isn't. Ross hung up on me instead of explaining how this could possibly be the fault of the product. They won't do anything until that sales rep goes through his administrative process for a claim. They also did a "color match" to paint trim which did not match at all. They damaged other areas of wall and cabinet which had been freshly painted. Definitely don't use this company. read more

When I had a situation in my house resulting in the need to completely replace my kitchen and living room flooring, the company with which I was contracted (company A) subcontracted this company to do the install. Through the first part of the process in which my current flooring was being removed, I had developed a great, trusting relationship with company A in which I felt comfortable leaving during the day to go to school, knowing that my belongings and cat would be safe. When it came time for the install, I was assured the same care would continue. Upon returning to my house at the end of the school day on day 1 of the install, I was in for quite a shock. As I entered my bedroom on the second floor (where they had no business whatsoever, made clear by me as well as the barricade of couch cushions at the top of the stairs to keep my cat from escaping--which had clearly been moved), I found the drawers and doors of both bedside tables wide open, and even more-shockingly, EVERY DRAWER OF MY STANDING JEWELRY BOX OPEN AND GONE THROUGH. Fortunately, I do not have anything worth stealing, and I could not say that anything had been stolen, but that does not negate the feeling of violation. I immediately called the owner of company A to tell him that until I had a chance to calm down, and until we got to the bottom of this situation, that all work was to cease on my house. He was shocked, to say the least, saying "Wow, we've known these guys a long time....we barbeque with them! Are you sure there isn't some mistake?" and "Of course, we will stop all work until you're ready to move forward." Very respectful. A few days later, when I was ready to go to the source and ask the manager of Completely Floored their side of the story, I went into the store, sat down and attempted to figure out a way to move forward and find out what had happened. I had not even made it through a complete sentence before I was assaulted with: "How DARE you?! We have been in business for 25 years, and we have NEVER been accused of anything like this! It was probably one of your nosy neighbors or something." I was 'completely floored' (pun intended), and brought immediately to tears. I couldn't believe this was happening. I did not come in with guns blazing, out for blood. I just wanted someone to take accountability for their actions so we could move forward in a way that suited everyone. Fortunately, at this moment, one of the managers of company A happened to come into the store and witnessed the entire thing. After 5 minutes of the man raising his voice, repeating the same defensive barrage of anger, (intertwined with my tearful attempts to both bring light to the fact that at no time in the day had the house been left unattended or unlocked and to ask why I was being made to look like the bad guy in the situation) he then brought out samples of rubber base boards and told me to choose which one I wanted them to install--which they would only do now that they felt so betrayed, if someone from company A were to be at the house to supervise. I was in such shock, and had no idea how we had gotten from "defensive and 'how-dare-you' " mode to "back-in-business" mode that I pointed to one, said I needed to go, and wandered out to my car, where I completely broke down and drove home. As my head cleared, and I picked up the phone to call company A's manager to tell him that there was no way I was going to be working with this company any further, the phone rang with him on the other end saying "I don't like how any of that was handled, how you were treated, and especially how defensive he was the entire time. Would you like me to find another company to finish the job so you don't ever have to deal with this company again?" Guess what my answer was. read more

My husband and I were selling our house and we chose Completely Floored for new carpet as they are a local company and I always try to promote local. They helped me pick out carpet that would match the tile we had in the kittchen. We had a large house to carpet and I feel the price was very competitive if not better than the big box store. We dealt with the owner himself and the customer service was great from beginning to end. They were fast and efficient regarding the installation and were very nice to deal with. Very honest too. I was looking for a real wood look with vinyl like durability. Ross & Bob showed me a hand scraped hardwood look laminate. It worked for my kitchen / dining room project excellent! I think all the other reviews about this business are old. They did a terrible job on our remodel. They wouldn't return phone calls...promised to come back and take care of things and then never showed up. I would NEVER use them again. In fact I may go to small claims court to get some of my money back. I have pictures of everything that was messed up. I can't believe all these other reviews. I read them months ago though so I think they are really old. Beware people! read more

This is tough for me because I've been in construction related business almost my entire working life, but I have to say, Bob at Completely Floored in fact completely floored me with his lack of care. He came out to a family members home in Ashland for a carpet estimate. He had no samples, so the next day I went to the store to view them and had a pleasant conversation with him. It was a Friday and he said he would email me the finished bid on Monday morning. Nearly another week passed with no email, and I thought maybe he had my email wrong so I sent him a voice mail on his cell and was very polite and spelled my email in case that was the problem. No response. Then my son called the store. Still no response. I am completely floored that they would treat me this way. I've long found that if they are difficult to communicate with when they haven't even gotten your money yet, it's sure not going to improve any once they do. I truly hate to do it, but I have to give them an F for poor service. read more
