It's a fast food joint so my expectations were not high but as fast food joints go, not bad. I was rather surprised at the variety of food options. From hamburgers to breakfast foods and salads. The quality of the product was roughly at the Denny's level, depending on what you order. Some things good and somethings so so. What had me smiling the most was that I ordered the bacon turkey melt and got offered all the standard fried choices, that my diet does not allow, so the gal offered me fresh fruit and it was fresh. The manager/cashier was so busy trying to get back in the kitchen to talk to the employee/guy she had originally screwed up our order while taking it onto register. Is there a bell for bad service I can ring today. Started off at the registrar when ordering the girl who took our order should have stayed home today with the attitude. Then when trying to give her my Loyalty Club app at the end of my order, her response was "you should have told me earlier." Not wanting to deal with it, I let it go and moved on. We get our order and my eggs are missing from the plate, I was only given a sample size of egg white. When I asked the manger about why the eggs where missing I got: "your eggs were not disubuted evenly between your wife's and your plate" and "the eggs are really small and when you get egg whites it's all you get." Worst Farmer Boys. I gave this one a try for a third time and it never fails. I will never spend another penny at this location. I live in Montebello and would rather drive to the Baldwin Park location before this one. The intercom sucks, the service is the worst and just bad all the way around. Food is dry and taste super processed. I once had a coupon to try a new burger that I had never tried before " So I said hey I can save a few bucks and try something new." When I approached the drive thru window and handed over the coupon the girl rolled her eyes and gave a sigh with attitude. I asked if there was problem, she continued to be rude and I asked to speak to a manager. The manager half way apologized and as I was leaving the two girls started laughing immaturely. They need to hire people that want to do their job and have a manager that knows how to properly manage a restaurant. Placed a phone order for two fish dinners and then picked them up. Drove home and we sat down to dinner. Our first comment was "Wow, look at the size of the fish!" Pieces were large. We were impressed. Guess what? It's ALL BREADING!!! Started pulling off the breading and were shocked. Where is the fish in your fish dinner? Never, ever again. I'm actually a fan of Farmer Boys and their burgers. The food is generally very good as is the service that comes with it. However, this particular location has greatly disappointed me. I pull into the drive-through and order a Farmer Burger combo with no pickles and no onions. The worker taking my order repeats clearly "Farmer Burger with no pickles and no onions", which assures me that she has received my order correctly and has not misheard me. She then asks if that'll complete my order. I felt it odd that she didn't ask what kind of drink I wanted so I clarified that I wanted an unsweetened iced tea for my drink. "Diet Pepsi for the drink" she says. I repeated unsweetened iced tea and that will complete my order. She then reads back "cheeseburger with unsweetened iced tea". No no, a Farmer Burger, not a Cheeseburger. "oh, ok. would you like fries with that?". I was thrown off by this as she's been making mistakes with my order and it sounded like she wasn't sure if I wanted a combo or fries as a side, so I again repeat that i wanted it as a combo. "ok, with fries?", which sounded like it could be an additional side of fries. I gathered by now that she meant instead of onion rings or zucchini but neglected to ask clearly. Her previous errors got me second guessing her. I said that, yes, fries as part of my combo. she asks if that will complete the order, which it did, then gave me the total. I pull up and pay for my order and she hands me my meal in less than 10 seconds. This is not an exaggeration. She said it was because it was another customer's order for dine-in, but she'll give it to me instead because I am in the drive-through. I trusted that she made sure that my order was without pickles and onions, as Farmer Boys of other locations have always been accurate with my orders in the past. I was wrong to do so. There they were: pickles and onions, as I open my burger to check. I did not have enough time to drive in and wait again for another order so I just left. I don't come here often, but when I do it's usually to grab a breakfast burrito. I love how they prepare the burritos with meat, cheese, eggs, & hash browns (easy on the hash). You can tell you are eating fresh product. I've also had their BBQ chicken salad. It's WAY too large for me to consume, so I usually get the BBQ & dressing on the side so I can finish the salad with dinner. You definitely get what you pay for at this place. Had been a regular customer to this location for 3 years. Recently the quality of service has declined. Multiple times in the drive thru I've not been provided my receipt. This has prevented me from scanning it to earn rewards on their heavily promoted app. I usually have the kids meal grilled cheese and have had their drink upgraded to a large. I was denied this, again. The first time was over a year ago. I spoke to the store manager and she assured me this was not a problem. The order taker never offered an apology when I explained how I've always been accommodated. I then stated that perhaps I should choose another place to eat from now on. Great value. This place strikes me as a cross of Denny's meets Chick Filet meets In and Out. The emphasis is on their hamburgers, their ingredients come from local farmers and the meat is natural. I would classify the portions and type of food as comfort food but you can customize your burger or omelette to be more healthy without butter or egg whites only. I like the fact that they bring the food to your table and its served on decent china. I also liked the emphasis on customer service and how the manager walked the tables asking if everything met my standards. I will go back for sure! read more

Location: 6315 Telegraph Rd, Commerce, CA 90040 My wife and I eat here periodically. We used to eat here often but due to poor customer service, we reduced our number of visits. We went 01/29 around 8:30pm and I ordered a charbroiled chicken sandwich (5 ingredients: bun, chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise). We were hoping to obtain a side order of fries but were informed they ran out of fries an hour earlier. How do you run out of fries? I digress. As I take a few bites into my sandwich I notice discoloration in the lettuce. I pull out the leaf of lettuce and sections were black. I could not believe the kitchen was trying to give this to customers. While doing food prep, someone should have removed this batch. While prepping the sandwich, the cook should have removed it. It should not be up to the customer to remove it. I hope their entire batch wasn't this bad. Not the first time this has happened to me at this location but the first time I am speaking up. I brought it to the shift manager's attention and she offered another food item...yeah right. If it was busy, that maybe would be an excuse but it was not busy. I consider myself a burger aficionado and I would say this was one of the 5 worst burgers/experiences I've had with a food establishment. I ordered a big cheese meal in the drive thru and literally waited about 30 minutes in line and to get my food. Talk about not fast food huh. And when I went up to the window, I had to repeat my order again, not sure why but that was annoying. I honestly think they were making the food for each drive thru patron as they pulled up to the window. They kept going back and forth with my order and asked what cheese I wanted. The big cheese always comes with cheddar cheese. After waiting, I finally got my food and the burger had no flavor and they put the shredded yellow cheese that you would put on salads on it, not the regular melted squared cheddar cheese. Let me start off by saying that this place deserves nothing less than five stars. It's a new facility and the staff was very friendly I went on a Sunday and it didn't take long to get my food. I went with my family of five and the food was handed to us in a timely manner. Another thing I liked about this restaurant was that the restrooms are clean. Plenty of parking. They need to open more locations through out Southern California. Unlike other fast food places the kids high chairs were clean and not sticky. Keep up the good work.! read more
