I actually was very pleasantly surprised by this option for the area. Don't be intimidated by immediately having to wait on line to order, as it moves so quickly. There weren't so many sandwich options, which was what brought us in. We got the burrata with mortadella schiacciata and the focaccia nuovo. The former was delicious. I'm used to a thicker spread of burrata so was interested in how thin this was but yet still so creamy. The bread could have been a skosh thicker but it was so buttery I didn't even mind. The latter, the focaccia, was a skosh less interesting but still so good. The meat layer really did a nice job and I was happy with it just so slightly warmed. The staff were so pleasant. We got free cookies for being first timers. And I love a good free sample, of which there were plenty as you moved along the counter. And the prices were super reasonable. If I lived in the area I would definitely see myself being a regular.

Farinolio in Westfield, NJ is the kind of place that stops you mid-bite and makes you say, "This is the real thing." From the moment you walk in, the vibe is authentically Italian--and not in the decorative, Americanized way. This is ingredient-driven, clean, and deeply satisfying food, made with care and purpose. We ordered the burrata speciale and focaccia uovo, alongside some truly standout Italian coffee--everything was fresh, balanced, and packed with that European purity of flavor you just don't find in preservative-heavy, stateside ingredients. The staff was warm and genuinely helpful, happy to walk us through the menu and explain anything we hadn't tried before. It made the whole experience feel more like a neighborhood café in Florence than a grab-and-go spot in suburban NJ. Pro Tips: * Take the train? It's just a quick walk from the station--perfect for a pre-commute stop or post-ride refuel. * Don't skip the burrata or the focaccia--both are quiet stunners. * Ideal for a light breakfast, casual lunch, or European-style afternoon recharge. Final word: -Absolutely would return. -Should be a default stop anytime you're in Westfield. Farinolio brings something truly special to the NJ café scene--a place where every bite transports you a little closer to Italy.

I heard about this little place that specializes in schiacciata sandwiches. Schiacciata (ski-a-chata) is a popular Italian flatbread, similar to focaccia, but thinner and crisper. I chose an assortment of 4 small sandwiches with different fillings. They were very good but a bit pricey.

Another visit and another delicious lunch. The shop has authentic Italian vibes and the food to match! BRACERIE, ROBiOlA CHEESE daily special was excellent.

Stopped by Farinolio in Westfield for a quick bite and had a good experience. I ordered two iced coffees along with the Baldini and Signorini sandwiches. Both were fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. One sandwich is definitely big enough for two people to share if you're just looking for a light meal. The setup is cute and inviting, making it a nice spot to relax. That said, I found it a bit pricey--$45 for two sandwiches and two iced coffees felt steep, even considering the quality. Worth a visit if you're in the area and don't mind the price tag!

Great coffee, great pastries and great sandwiches!!! A small spot in Westfield with really good food! My favorite order is a cappuccino and a sandwich or flatbread. Their pistachio and cream croissants are sooooo good! Cannot recommend this place enough.

Staff are very friendly. The shop gives Tuscany vibes. Food is super fresh. Pictured is a prosciutto and cheese sandwhich with basil and a mortadella and cheese sandwhich on their homemade bread and a custard croissant. The croissant had the perfect bite with a perfectly sweetened vanilla custard

Cute, little authentic Italian cafe. Great schiacciate sandwiches and wonderful egg pinsa. Very fresh bread. Delicious pastries. Amazing cappuccino with the best foam. Love that they have outdoor seating when there's warm weather.

A stunning place located in downtown Westfield! A gem like this is HARD to find. There is a ton of parking in the back or street parking. The ambience of this place is really nice, café style with seating. When you arrive you can choose from a ton of wonderful fresh desserts, coffee and sandwiches. everything here is so fresh and tastes really good. Love this gem and looking forward to trying new things next time I go! Highly recommend this place!

I have been here few times after my last review to pickup few things and go. If you ever been to Farinolio you know their breads, sweets and sandwiches are so delicious. Today I ordered coffee as well and again was cold. I believe it's none dairy milk cause the coffee end up cold don't know why or how!!! So this time I asked if they can warm it up for me and they graciously made a new cup of pretty hot coffee. life is good I also bought flours for baking.

Good food but too expensive. $36 for two sandwiches. Maybe good for a once in awhile treat, assuming you dont have a family of four.

Pound cake was a few days old and very dry. Very pricey and portions too small. Sorry, didn't like the coffee either.

We hosted a large corporate event (with 50 people) and the event went smoothly with everyone being engaged at each station learning about proper cutting techniques, use of spices (new and commonly used), information about the local farms they work with and much more! The way the class and stations were set up allowed for easy networking among the guests and fun conversations with the chefs. Food was amazing and all our attendees enjoyed the charcuterie table they had set up while socializing beforehand and during the cooking class. I am also very grateful about the venue being extremely flexible with scheduling and allowing access to the building as we had a lot of deliveries & pre-event set ups that needed to be brought in for our event. Guests were thrilled to receive the recipes for all the menu items we made after the event as well. The only challenge we had was the limited parking available, but luckily there is a free municipal parking lot right across the street so it all worked out. Would highly recommend hosting a private event or attending one of their regular cooking classes. May and her team are very professional and passionate about what they do, and it shows!

The best part was that everyone RAVED about the food. While I knew I over-ordered for 40 people, we had very little leftovers! The menu was fantastic & Blair was also great in helping me make the selections as I wanted everything. We selected the pulled pork, beef brisket, garlic/rosemary chicken, honey carrots, Mexican corn (she asked me first & then put out some pieces w/o the good stuff on it, if anyone preferred it plain), chickpea salad, shrimp shooters, spinach in phyllo dough & fried zucchini. It was a good mix to satisfy everyone. I also think their prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service they provide. I highly recommend KB on the Go!

There was more than enough food, which wasn't a problem, because I've enjoyed several BBQ meals throughout the week. 5. The food was amazing. The smoky sear on the ribs was some of the best (if not the best) I've had in the area and his pesto pasta salad was without question the best I've ever had. I'm huge on BBQ, but I could have eaten that pasta salad all day long (its got a nice kick to it, so if you like spicy, you'll love it). Thanks so much Kyle and team!

Passed by this place countless times since it's on a main Street in downtown Westfield and finally…read moremade it in with my family on a Saturday morning. We were greeted as soon as we walked in... and then I quickly realized there were THREE people behind the counter. We were the only ones there for a few moments before another family walked in behind us. They had gone there before so generally knew what they wanted. Me? Not so much. Despite how many people were working at the time, there were no explanations or help... but they do respond to questions. They have a few small tables but it's a relatively small store. There are display cases filled with cookies, pastries, cupcakes, and cakes. Lots of character in there, but nothing is labeled and there are no prices other than the cookies (they're purchased by weight... 1 lb is 10 cookies). I sort of ran with it, but since I don't know the names of half the items, this will be a more general review. I grabbed a lobster tail and a sfogliatelle. They look similar at first glance... but when I asked, they are definitely NOT the same thing. In fact, she sounded a bit offended I asked. Hahaha. She mentioned something about the sfogliatelle being baked? It also comes in two sizes and I got the large. I later ate them and... I'm not too sure what the difference is because they're similar in shape. The lobster tail seems to be a flaky pastry that was cut in half and the cream piped in. The sfogliatelle was not cut but it was filled as well and I'm pretty sure they added orange zest to it... I liked that. The lobster tail didn't have any citrus that I remembered. I enjoyed them... but we ate them the next day. They weren't the crispiest then. Also got two large cannoli's filled with the regular cream. Plus a cream puff filled with "custard" (you can opt for ricotta instead). And an interesting beige white tart and a teeny fruit tart (I actually wanted the bigger fruit tart but they got the mini one instead... I didn't notice until we got home since everything is packed behind the counter). Cannolis were pretty good! Lots of cream and the shells were still crisp, but you could taste the oil since they're deep fried. I should have gotten the smaller size so the proportions would have been more balanced. The cream puff was a cream puff? Nice and light with the thick filling inside that wasn't too sweet. The fruit tart was good with a standard sweet tart shortbread crust. The mystery lattice tart thing was good as well! Not sweet and had very interesting flavors... fairly certain almonds were a part of it. Probably a version of frangipane? My daughter got a Spider-Man cupcake. Their cupcakes have a thin icing type topping instead of your typical piped frosting on top. They're also filled with a buttery frosting that isn't too sweet! I was pleasantly surprised. I was apprehensive when she was adamant on getting that cupcake because they're often overly sweet. I would like to note that a lot of their creams/custard filled goodies use the same filling. And it's not what I expected. Custard, it said. The filling was definitely more dense, not too sweet (a great thing), but also slightly grainy. I can't say they were eggy and they were far from the consistency of pudding. I'm thinking they might be ricotta based? The most loose "filling" we ate was probably the cannoli cream. Overall, I'm not sure exactly what I ate since they never really went the extra step or elaborated when I asked questions. Very to the point for a group of teenagers who were behind the counter. They were nice? But sort of uninterested. They seemed a little more enthusiastic about the other family. Oh yes. I also ordered a coffee for my husband... which wasn't rung up. I went back wondering where it was and it turns out it was forgotten about but we did eventually get it. He got a large and it is a HUGE cup. So... the goodies were pretty good. I was surprised in several ways - the fact I'm not too sure what I ordered and that they were perfectly sweet. But I found service lacking a bit. I will likely go back again if I'm in the area but I'd probably be just as clueless. We would have tried the goodies there and stayed longer but one of my kids has multiple food allergies and the place doesn't seem great for that (or for non-regulars) so we ate them later when our kid could have something as well. The pastries ended up being about $4-5 each and the cupcake was $4.50 - so the total adds up FAST. There is an automatic 3.75% service charge that was added on... not sure what that's about? The total was about $40 at the end, not including tip. My rating is a 3 because though I generally enjoyed the treats I got, I have mixed feelings due to the experience on this first visit as a whole. I'm hoping my future visits will be better.
