We (work team) had a work team-building event at Passion for Spices, and what a night we had! From the planning with May Fridel (CEO & Founder) to the night of the event, it was a huge success! The event was a unique experience, thanks to May's exceptional ability to create an atmosphere that felt like a warm family gathering. We were divided into three workstations, each offering a different culinary adventure, fostering a sense of camaraderie and togetherness. I picked the Steak Night theme, and the experience was beyond my expectations. The creamed spinach was a delight, the steak was straight from the farm, and we had the most heavenly Creme Brulee for dessert. The freshness and Quality of the ingredients were palpable, making the culinary adventure even more exciting. We had plenty of laughs. It is BYOB. However, the liquor store works closely with them, and when we arrived, our wine was chilling on ice. As a bonus, May supplied us with the beautiful moments captured on film. Let's put it this way: My team had so much fun at Passion of Spices that it made me look like a superstar for picking this venue to service our team-building event. We had a fantastic experience cooking with May and her staff. They were warm, inviting, and super knowledgeable about the cuisine, cooking techniques and the best ways to bring out the flavors of the cuisine we chose. We did a private tapas experience for our mother's 75th birthday with our young children, and they were really welcoming and accommodating for all ages and picky eaters. May was extremely warm and friendly, playing with the kids and talking with us throughout the whole experience, and Thomas, our chef, was really fun and gave us a wonderful hands-on experience. What an enjoyable experience. Our company choose Passion For Spices as a Team Building event. The entire process, from booking, cooking and after event follow up has been fabulous. May and her staff were knowledgeable and welcoming, and you can feel the "passion" they have for this labor of love. We enrolled for the Spanish Style entertaining class and had a wonderful time! Instructor was great, taught skills and answered questions and was very informative. Owner May was there overseeing everything, interacting with the guests, shared her story and love for fresh and healthy food. We shared some sangria in between prepping and then ate the delicious dinner we all prepared. Great experience if you like to mingle with people. Our Thanksgiving Dinner themed class at Passion for Spices was both informative and delicious! The chef was amazing and shared many ingenious tips on how to enhance the traditional dinner. We learned how to prepare the different courses (some in advance) as well as how to coordinate the cooking for a timely presentation...aka get the dinner ready on time, not an easy task for the Thanksgiving meal. My team had an excellent night of teambuilding at Passion for Spices. My coworker gave me the idea to host the session at the school since she had a memorable experience sending her team there last year. The owner, May, suggested a Moroccan themed cooking experience, which was a nice, unexpected surprise to all. Attended a great Passion for Spices event on 4/26/2024 Gourmet Indian with appetizer, Tiger prawns, main course grass fed lamb shanks, turmeric rice, and dessert carrot halva. The lamb shanks were absolutely delicious. It was enjoyable to meet couples with similar culinary interests and get to know them. The service was excellent as well and I would recommend this experience for any couples' night or any other celebrations. read more

Had a team building exercise here with my coworkers, about 10 of us, and had a wonderful experience making a full Moroccan meal with the owner May and the chef Thomas.
