I can't express in words what a wonderful place Primavera Regency is. Usually an event venue can only hit the mark on one thing: the food, the ambiance and decor, or the service. Primavera hits all three in every way and they go above and beyond with it. Michael and Edwin were both so lovely to work with, and everyone else that works there is so kind, attentive, and truly care about their guest's experience. Anyone that has ever been here knows the food is next to none -- every single thing they make is high end restaurant quality and that's not easy to do in a venue. The venue itself is so pretty, Venetian style and recently updated. The landscaping outside is immaculately kept. Classy!!! Great venue to host 50 people for an Anniversary Party. They also had a larger room, but the smaller room fit 50 people perfectly (no dance floor in small room). There was another party going on in the big room, but it didn't interfere with us at all. Plenty of parking in the large parking lot. The bar is lovely (but I will add: there were poor reviews for the house white wine and the Bloody Mary). That is literally the only negative. Food was excellent. Everything else went smoothly. Many people commented how great of a party it was. Kudos to Michael, our event host, who was very attentive and professional. The Primavera Regency and a traditional, classic, elegant, but not pretentious banquet venue. The owners and staff are very friendly, helpful, and truly hospitable. It has a nice location in Stirling on a busy street surrounded by trees, shops, and other quaint restaurants. I've been here for three wedding in over the last few years and I had a good time at all three. The cocktail hour is the best, especially if you opt for the "extras" like sushi. Dinner is okay, nothing special, but if you don't finish it, you can ask for a "doggie bag" to bring it home! That's always a plus in my book! It gets cold in the main ballroom so ladies, be sure to bring a jacket or sweater. There's plenty of room to dance on the floor. One of the best things about the Primavera Regency is that only one event is celebrated at the same time. If you're having your wedding there on a Saturday night, your party will be fully attended to. If I liked Banquet Venues, I'd consider having my wedding here just for that reason. read more

I have been here 5 times or more in the past couple of years. One thing I can attest to is the food is always consistently very good. From HS sports banquets, bridal showers, and Weddings The Primavera Regency always does a wonderful job. I just attended a New Years Eve Wedding on Sunday. It was amazing! There was one room set up for the actual ceremony. It held approx 75-100 people. Then on to the Ballroom. This was no typical wedding. Instead of long oval tables of 12, the bride chose to have all different types of tables that were different heights and sizes. It was open seating for 200 people. Everything was silver and gold, with purple, pink, and multi colored lights. Everything else was white. The room was gorgeous and magical. The Primavera Regency was turned into a huge club with continuous food and drinks flowing all night. The bride even had white leather couches and cocktail tables brought in. . The bartenders were very professional and had two signature martinis in honor of the bride and groom.. The staff is very friendly, professional and accommodating I never had to ask to have any of my plates removed. There was so much food I never made it every station. This was a continuous buffet. We started with a raw bar of Shrimp,and Oysters. Then onto fresh Prosciutto, Melon, fresh Mozzarella. Cesar Salad, Mesculin Green Salad , Antipasto. Stuffed Artichoke Hearts, Roasted Red Peppers, Shrimp n Rice , Pork Medallions, Scallops n Greens,Sautéed Broccoli Rabe with Cannellini Beans and tomato. Hand carved , Prime rib, Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Au jus and Brown Gravy. Eggplant Parmesan, Shrimp Parmesan, Rigatoni Pasta and several sauces. Hot passed hors d'oeuvres. For desserts A Crème Brûlée Bar, a Cupcake Station, a Coffee Bar, A Gelato Bar, Assorted mini Cakes and Pastries. Homemade Cannoli and Zeppoles. Our waitress and waiter passed around Expresso and cappuccino. On and on. There was even a photo booth. The bride Chose a Motown Trio named Rocky and Billy with a female singing Impersonator. Had our 10 year Northern NJ Christmas party here this past weekend and I was surprised to say the least how well they handled 240 Plus Italians from North Newark. Doesn't look like much passing by but once inside it is really appointed quite nicely with cocktail party area in front and to the side while the main dining room was off to the side. Cocktail hour food was exceptional with everything from the cold bar and antipasto to the various hot serving pasta stations and carving stations really top shelf. The food going around which was limited "Lamb Chops" were not very good but the rest of the cocktail party items were excellent. Bar was small but great staff handled the too big a crowd for this section very well. Main room was really nice and classy with large dance floor and even with 240 people again (TOO MUCH) for room it was handled nicely. Large bar off to the side again handled everything well. Only complain would be the sit down dinner was a little disappointing. Pasta Fazsoul soup was tasty but Ice Cold, arugula salad good while the short rib was good and tasty the chicken saltamboca with mushrooms was tough and cold. Desert excellent as was the serving staff. Price points were top shelf from what I was told by our organizer so I would definitely have an event here though I would keep it more to 175 persons that 240 plus just too crowded. read more

They were hosting George Lamond and freestyle music all night long. Price included 2 hours drinks and appetizer then a 4 course dinner. It was completely fascinating and with great friends this couldn't get any better. We all had a great time. It was s very nice time. I would recommend this to all those who love freestyle next year. This is an outdoor restaurant now because of Covid. The restaurant was seriously amazing. They took all of their outdoor shrubbery and landscaping, added a huge well-decorated catering tent,and converted this to a 5 star outdoor restaurant. Food was amazing. Service was impeccable. It took Covid to turn this place into a restaurant. They are top notch. When this place turns back into a caterer (when indoor dining is brought back) I will be disappointed. This place is missing it's calling as a restaurant. I should mention that they are a great catering hall too. I've been there a dozen times. Always clean. Service is perfect. We had out company holiday party here last night. It wasn't very impressive and everyone was raving how good the food will be. Meh. Food - Average. Granted it was a company function so we weren't getting filet or a sit down meal. Complete buffet style. Service -- Above Average. They were friendly, attentive and had great senses of humor. No stuffy-ness allowed here. Price - Dunno. It was a company party. Size -- For a smaller wedding I can see this place being ideal. For a large one, maybe not. I went there for my friend's wedding, and it was nothing short of great. From the inside to the outside, it was stunning. I've driven past here many times but never have been inside, so it was nice getting the chance now to see it. We started out getting drinks at the bar, which had a very friendly and funny staff of bartenders. We went outside to where the wedding was, and it had such a nice atmosphere. Many flowers, a nice fountain and gorgeous green grass. The outside was actually my favorite part, because being an outdoorsy guy; I enjoy the calm atmosphere and nature. Beautiful trees and statues as well here. The inside where the dance room and bar is, is beautiful and very elegant. They had an ice statue to do drinks out of and amazing furniture and chandeliers. I actually really enjoy every part of the inside, from the bathroom to the main ball room. Very impressed with everything about this place. The food was absolutely amazing. From the appetizers to the main dishes. They had duck (which was so damn good), penne vodka pasta, little croissant dogs, pesto rice balls, etc. all the food was delicious and has great flavor. The only issue I had with the food, was that bread was really stale and the steak and veggies needed more seasonings. Everything was still great though. I will always come back. So to give you a final review. 9/10 for me. This place had class, good food, nice staff and made for such a fun atmosphere and made my friend's wedding very special. I am glad I came and I am glad I was apart. The people to the food was excellent! ALSO, the piano man was so awesome there. I have been here several times a year for the past few years. Whether it's a wedding or a formal event, the food and service are always excellent. They really do a great job here. I am always full from the cocktail hour and then stuff myself with a dinner. It's located on the main road through Long Hill Township and is not far off of Route 78. It is in a safe location. No need to worry about your car or safety when entering/exiting the building. There is plenty of parking on site. read more

At a fund raising dinner where I am sure they did not pull all the stops out for the most expensive experience I continued to be surprised as to the variety of options circling about and fixed in place to eat both at the cocktail hour and the dinner. The open bar was quick service and portioned such that you really had to work at getting drunk which I count as a plus for events such as the one I was too. 5 stars isn't enough to give to the Primavera Regency. We used them for our wedding in the new ballroom, and it was absolutely stunning. As the bride and groom, we were treated like royalty. They even set out a table for us during cocktail hour and brought us a sample of everything that was on the menu during cocktail hour (and there was a lot). The food was absolutely delicious - better than what you would normally get at a restaurant, let alone wedding food. The whole team is professional, kind, and gave us the best wedding we could have ever asked for. I couldn't recommend the Primavera enough for your wedding or any other occasion. We dined at Primavera's outdoor garden restaurant last night. The food, service and atmosphere were top notch. There were lights, chandeliers, music and elegant table settings. The service was outstanding, as well as the food. We were married years ago at The Primavera and were happy to go back for a night out! Definitely take advantage of their beautiful outdoor restaurant while it's here (hopefully for them they will be able to open for indoor events soon). We got married at The Primavera Regency a little over a week ago and were so sad to leave it. When I had written previously, I said they would no doubt get 5 stars from us...what I didn't know was that Steve, the bartenders, wait staff, chefs and everyone else would far surpass our definition of magnificent. My new husband and I cannot stop talking about how wonderful Steve is and his incredible service. We missed most of our cocktail hour due to photographs and when we arrived at The Primavera, Steve bustled my dress (honestly, I think it only took about 5 minutes, it would've taken a number of my bridesmaids and 20 more minutes if it wasn't for him). He welcomed us with cocktails and table set for two with samples of all of the items on our cocktail menu. Everything leading up to our reception was chaotic but as soon as Steve greeted us, we felt like everything would be fine. The Primavera is widely known for the food and our guests enjoyed VIP treatment. Everyone has comments how perfectly their filet was cooked and how the cocktail hour blew away everyone- between the number of options and the level at which they were prepared, no one had seen anything like it. The 5 star food was accompanied with 5 star service. We thought we were treated wonderfully because we were the Bride and Groom, but our parents, siblings, bridal party and all of our guests were also treated like royalty. Bartenders remembered individuals drinks and the wait staff were quick to refill your drink, fold your napkin, or pull out your chair. Everyone fell in love with the food and the service. Steve also "forced" Bryan and I to enjoy your dinners and desserts. "Forced" isn't really the proper word, but more he "guided" us through each of the courses. He made sure we were able to enjoy our lobster bisque (which he described as tasting like silk- and it did!) entree's and then led us around at the Viennese presentation. So many people told me to not worry about the additional desserts but it was a decision we felt strongly about- I adore sweets and on my wedding day, I was going to eat as much as I would like. Well our guests must've felt the same way because the room was crowded with everyone. Our guests devoured the wide assortment - cannoli/raspberry wedding cake, chocolate fountain, sorbet station, sundae station, pastries, molton lava cake station, creme brulee, fruit, zeppoles, you name it it was there. Overall our wedding day was fabulous- and this review can't even explain how wonderful Steve & the employees at The Primavera are to work with. Leading up to our wedding, Steve answered all of our questions, was there when we needed him and surpassed any expectation we had of our reception venue. He let us test a number of different centerpiece ideas over the course of the year (one that involved a wine bottle and wick candle that smelled like we lit the banquet room on fire.) One of my bridesmaids mentioned that the only stress she had leading up to her wedding were things with the venue- I can assure you this is not the case with the Primavera. Steve was available whenever we called and always provided answers or solutions to our questions and/or problems. The night of our wedding he quickly cleaned my dress when someone accidentally spilled chocolate all over it. When the groom ran in to cut the cake, Steve was standing there with his jacket so he was ready for pictures. We joked that Steve is similar to the butler in Mr. Deeds- if you have seen the movie you know what I'm talking about- he is always there when you need him! The Primavera is an absolutely unbelievable experience. Our reception brought a number of people from NJ and PA together and all of our guests are still commenting on how incredible the food was. Kudos to Steve, Christine, the bartenders, chefs, wait staff, and all of the employees. We have wonderful memories of our wedding and are hoping we can return as guests for another wedding. read more

Just had my wedding reception at the Primavera Regency and I must say that this place was absolutely amazing. The place came highly recommended so it was a pretty easy decision to have the reception here. Throughout the whole process, they were very accomodating, easy to work with and completely professional. We didn't have our ceremony at the Primavera but the grounds there are magnificent. We took a ton of pitcures outside and I would have been totally happy having my ceremony there. After pictures, they had our bridal suite set up with a private cocktail party for our entire wedding party. While it wasn't as extravagant the regular cocktail, it was perfect to just unwind and get some food in us before the festivities started. The cocktail hour for the wedding guests was magnificent. Everything from the food to the ice sculptures and everything in between. Everyone who has their reception there says the same things and I will agree that the cocktail hour is plenty of food for the entire wedding. The main ballroom was absolutely beautiful and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Coincidentally, they had actually put in a new dance floor and new carpet the week of our wedding. Writing this now is making me feel great to re-live some of the memories. The dinner was beyond great. It seriously was one of the best meals I have ever had. The jumbo shrimp stuffed with crabmeat was ridiculoulsy good. I absolutely loved it and they sent us home with an extra plate each. Steve, the Maitre'd, was an absolute pleasure to work with. He took care of every single detail and made our day one we will never forget. The entire staff was great and left no detail untouched. The Primavera is truly a top flight business. AMAZING FOOD, BUT NO SOAP IN THE LADIES' ROOM FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES! We enjoyed attending several weddings at The Primavera Regnecy over the years. They have some of the most excellent food. Most recently, we attended an outdoor wedding in the evening. It was a very nice setting for an outdoor wedding- lots of space and there was nice shade so it wasn't too hot. The only downfall of an outdoor wedding here is the noise from the street. It is extremely close to the road. So, if you are looking for a quiet ceremony, this might not be the place for you. The cocktail hour and reception provide some amazingly well-cooked food. No complaints about their food- it is quite delicious! I wouldn't recommend the banquet hall for a large wedding. The dance floor was so small we couldn't even slow dance without bumping into people. (this was a large wedding that we attended- the tables were crammed and it was quite crowded, so my suggestion is to have well-under the maximum amount for this room) One of the most shocking things was that the ladies' room ran out of soap and it took the staff nearly 30 MINUTES to replenish it. This was during the cocktail hour, mind you! (at the beginning of the wedding) I was personally told that the soap would take a while to replenish (not sure why- shouldn't they be prepared for this?) and I was taken into the bridal suite to wash my hands while the bride was not in there. The staff was friendly through the ordeal, although I am still puzzled as to how this could happen and why. The wait staff was ok. It was honestly hard to understand my waiter because of his thick accent. Also, the DJ music was just way too loud. Overall- it is a beautiful place with outstanding food, but I was a bit surprised regarding the soap issue....so that is why I have given it 4 stars. read more

OK this place gets a 3.5 to be exact. Was here on Sunday for a wedding. This place was FREEZING COLD WHY??? I mean it was FREEZING 1 star. The cocktail time was the best time I give that 5 stars, the food was great and the options and amount of food was fantastic. Now I have celiacs so I can only eat food that is gluten free. One server was very friendly and helpful and let me know what was GF and then said the hot stations each server would know what was GF. Well this wasn't true no one at the stations knew, they had to go back to ask the cooks (BTW They put FLOUR in their mashed potatoes can you say CHEAP?) Dinner was bland and tasteless, huge disappointment, but very helpful with my Gluten free options. And it wasn't just my meal it was the chicken which had flour in it that everyone at my table didn't like, sauce was watery not even thick and full on flavorless. We recently just had a wedding at The Primavera Regency and it was the best wedding I've seen in a very long time. Maybe my opinion won't count since it was for me, but multiple people, including my 95 year old grandma said this was the best wedding they have ever been to. From start to finish I was very impressed with everything they offered us. Michael was very helpful the entire time. The food was out of this world! I can not say enough good things about this venue. First of all it is absolutely stunning. I am so in love with the outcome of my photos because this venue is just gorgeous. The newly renovated ballroom is classy, clean, and every detail was touched upon. The chandeliers are amazing and shimmer so beautifully (go with the full lighting package!) I will say, I was a very organized bride so when it came time for me to give instructions for wedding day set up I made sure to label everything and typed instructions to go along. Michael and his crew made sure that everything was in order and then let me check during the cocktail hour before all my guests were let in. The bridal suite was a nice escape when I needed to check my makeup or use the bathroom. The food....how do I even describe this food. Perfection. I went to the tasting with my family and got to sample everything (literally tasted everything) and I have to say it was the best food I have had in a large venue. I feel like to be able to cook this well for 100-300 people shows how talented their chefs are. I have been to many weddings and the food at The Primavera Regency is by far the best. So many of my guests are still talking about the food. A few months before my wedding I stopped eating all animal products and became a vegan. Michael was so kind as to create a vegan option instead of vegetarian on my menu. There were a few other vegan guests so he made a few of us really happy. Even my vegan option was delicious!! (quinoa salad with nuts and veggies and a vinaigrette dressing) The food at this place is five star in the wedding world. During the cocktail hour and Viennese hour a special table was set up with EVERYTHING for my husband and I to enjoy. We didn't have to serve ourselves at all. This made it possible for us to actually eat on our wedding night which was awesome and from what I have heard, rare. Michael the maître d' was so diligent. He was there from beginning to end checking in with me, my parents, and my maid of honor multiple times. I didn't have any complaints to give to him because everything was so perfect but he was there regardless. During the evening I saw my grandmother carrying cake to her seat and I went to help her carry it but before I could turn around and even take one step Michael was there and took the plate from me. He told me "don't worry" and escorted my grandmother to her seat. This will always stand out in my mind. He is beyond amazing at what he does and I appreciate him so much for making my wedding night perfect. I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants to be treated like royalty on their wedding night. We hosted our Daughter and Son In Laws wedding here on November 16th. Everything was wonderful. Michael and his staff do a great job of providing the event of your dreams. The entry way, ballroom and cocktail hour room are beautiful. The ceremony was held in the ballroom and when we moved to the cocktail hour, the room was turned over to prepare for the main course, this was done flawlessly. We brought a number of items to be displayed, everything was placed where we asked it to be and after the wedding repacked and returned to us. The food is wonderful, more choices in the cocktail hour than a person could eat, one thing more delicious than the next. For dinner there were a number of choices for our guests to choose from. The Viennese hour was over the top, so many delicious desserts to choose from. The wedding cake was also delicious. Michael did a great job coordinating with our vendors, band, photographer, etc. We had so many people come to us at the end of the evening and say it was the best wedding they ever attended. We were hoping to have it outside bit it was a little too cold and high expectation of rain had us have it inside. The staff prepared both inside an out so we could choose on the spot. They prepared the inside for the ceremony in a very intimate way. A wall hid the tables on one side, a curtain on the other so it looked like it was made for ceremonies. Then Cocktail hour have the staff time to arrange everything for dinner. Then back out after for the amazing Venetian hour. It was an entire room with anything you wanted. I received calls from family and friends saying that this was the best wedding they had ever attended. Steve and Vincent could not possibly been more attentive than they were. Everybody LOVED the wait service. The food was incredible, and there was plenty of it. There is one event at a time so you don't hear music and see people from other events. It was an incredible experience. I would highly recommend them to anybody, and thank the staff for making our day incredible. I had my wedding here nearly 4 years ago and my guest still rave about the food and elegance of our wedding. Steve was terrific, making sure we ate and enjoyed our day with out a hitch and without any stress. Even when I forgot my tea set from home after a formal private traditional tea ceremony, Steve came up with a terrific solution! Food was plentiful, value was terrific, and the ambiance was perfect. Had my wedding here in August and Steve & Vincent were the best. I seriously wish they could be around me 24/7 they were so nice and helpful. The food was amazing, including the wedding cake. My guests raved about the food. The entire staff was great and I really don't have anything negative to say. I've been to a lot of venues and this one was one of the best.
