The service was great. The Cajun quesadilla was delicious. The Mexican mask on the wall was beautiful.

    Pizzadilla (with shrimp)

This is based on a togo order. KFC chicken tacos were pretty good. The Pizzadilla was very salty (and I love salt). I didn't care for the different types of meats and shrimp all combined either. It just didn't sit well and was a little disappointing taste and texture wise. I do give props for visual appeal- it was huge and looked absolutely delicious. I wish I would have liked it more for $30. If I went back I'd probably opt to try more tacos.

Definitely did not meet my Expectations unfortunately. I was beyond Hyped to try this place out and it had been on my New Orleans Wish list for a while now. We we're on a Trip coming from Dallas Tx and I was nagging my Cousin about how we had to get to this Place. I ordered the Jerk Tacos with a side of rice & beans, Eggrolls, Queso, & Pineapple lemonade... The tacos really didn't have much flavor for them to be labeled Jerk and my Biggest issue was 2 tacos were somewhat grilled and they left 1 COMPLETELY raw, white, & untouched. Talk about Laziness & throwing sĥıt together. My Beans didn't come out with my food so I told the Young Lady at the register who was overwhelmed with customers & what seemed to be Door Dash orders maybe. By the time my beans came out we're finish with our food so I took them to go. The queso presentation was beautiful but again not much flavor. Love supporting Black Owned Businesses but probably wouldn't return. We came on 3-17 St. Patrick's Day. I will say the Young Lady at the register was nice also

I have been wanting to try this spot for a while, and finally decided to go one weekend. Because I wanted to try a few different things since it was my first time there. My favorite was the chicken quesadilla. It was big enough for me to have leftovers the next day. The chicken was smoked with added a nice surprise, and great flavor. Also, ordered the barria tacos and they did not disappoint. They were really good. Lastly, I ordered the barria ramen, which was a lot of food. This dish was a little too salty for me, but good nonetheless. I will be going back to the other items on the menu!

The absolute best tacos I've ever had. Service was great. The only thing was the menu was off by a dollar. Tacos were $15 versus 14. No big deal he offered to make it right.

I first had Fantasy Tacos at Top Taco and really enjoyed it. I finally got a chance to come to the restaurant and tacos are as good as I remember. You can dine in or do take out and it seems majority of the people here opt for take out. The person taking the to go orders is also the server and she multitasked really well. She quickly brought out salsa to the table and it was good. We also ordered queso and it was really good filled with tomatoes, onions and peppers. My only complaint is for the amount of salsa and queso they dont give enough chips but that was easily remedied. I really enjoyed the pineapple lemonade but its VERY sweet! For my entree I got the jerk chicken tacos and they were so good and flavorful. Hands down the best (nontraditional) taco I've ever had. Three huge tacos served with cilantro lime rice (or you can opt for beans). I couldn't finish my food so I will have lunch tomorrow. My son opted for the baja shrimp tacos. I had one of his and he had 1 of mine. We both agreed the chicken was the better choice. The shrimp taco just didn't have that wow factor and neither of us would get that again. My daughter had the wings with Cajun ranch fries and it comes with 1 jerk taco. She really enjoyed her meal! Finally my husband had the pizzadilla which he liked but states the consomé was a little too salty. The pizzadillia is clearly meant to be shared because he tapped out after 1 slice. Definitely will continue to support this woman owned, black owned business!

The service here was okay. Its really cute inside but the food could use a little work. The birria eggrolls had a good crunch and sweet chili sauce but could use a little more flavor. The drinks were tasty. I love that they have batterina cheesecakes for purchase.

I went on a taco Tuesday so it was BUSY. Be prepared to WAIT for your food after like 4pm I think. When people getting off. It was a pretty long wait to order food too. I'm not sure why people took so long when there's menus all around to look at before ordering. Overall we waited about an hour to order & get the food. I didn't expect the nachos to come like that. It was more of a dip than anything. It was good asf still. The steak quesadilla was loaded & the taste was BOMB! We did ask for no cilantro and they were accommodating. The jerk chicken tacos were bomb as well. I really enjoyed those. We also had pineapple lemonade and it was really sweet. Overall, the atmosphere was decent. They had music and tv playing. I'd definitely try them again not on taco Tuesday.

The food flavors are very excellent and I was glad I tried this taco joint. I got the steak tacos with Mac cheese. I know it sounds a little odd but that is my favorite side. I think Mac and cheese improves everything kinda like bacon but creamier. The main dish the Fantasy Steak taco is the most popular, now I know why, the first bite had me admiring the flavors the chef included for this taco, herbs, cheese with seasoned steak and onions, this is a nicely balanced bite and I enjoyed the taco very much. They have chicken and fish tacos options and other things like the seafood fries are other favorites. I recommend Fantasy tacos, it is food that is unique to me a I believe you will also enjoy what ever you order. The service is great, be patient some customers take a while to decide and they offer tastes of the different frozen margaritas before you order. I will return to try the seafood fries and some other menu items like the ramen it sounded wonderful.

    Loaded fries!

The service was great. My waiter was very attentive. The only thing missing was a cocktail. They did not serve alcohol and my visit was during happy hour so I was a little disappointed. Non the less, the loaded seafood fries were delicious. I only wish there was an option for grilled shrimp... maybe there is I didn't ask... the fish and shrimp were seasoned to perfection. The sauce was the showstopper! The pineapple lemonade was good... very refreshing... I added water because it's a little on the sweet side. Muy Bien!!!

Baja Fish Tacos Jerk Chicken Elotes Churros

My second time here and I went on Taco Tuesday both times. The only downside is that they don't take to-go orders over the phone. My favorite thing about this place though, is the 5 tacos for $10 on Tuesdays. They usually only have two you can pick from, but you can mix n match. It always smells so good when I walk in and the ppl at the register are nice. The first time I came, I ordered baja fish and jerk chicken for the 5 for $10, elote and churros. Today I ordered baja fish and kfc tacos (5 for $10), steak tacos (3 for $15), ranch fries and churros. Each type of taco is dressed a little differently but EVERYTHING is a 10/10. The fries were soggy but that's to be expected with sauce on them. They still tasted good. I liked the elote and loved the churros. I will be back!

Decided to drive all the way to the Westbank for this delicious hole in the wall spot. We showed up here around 6:30, there was not much of a crowd . We ordered the birria tacos and then then chicken quesadilla. A couple of menu items were sold out which means I have to go back. Food took about 2o minutes to come out. I will say the consome could've had just a little bit more flavor, but overall everything was pretty good. I will def be back to try more items

After seeing the taco truck many times but never seeing it open I was pleased to come across an IG post saying they now have a restaurant. I've been waiting so long to taste these tacos and they did not disappoint!! The young lady that took our order was very nice to explain my many questions prior to placing my order. I'm a spice whimp and never chance getting foods too spicy to enjoy. While waiting for my food I snapped a pic of their cute photo prop and found an open table. It took 12 minutes for the food to arrive at the table and it was hot and fresh! I had the Baja fish tacos and that pickle cabbage is chefs kiss! I'll be back to try a few other options of the menu.

Also got some pupusas which we ate 4 days later and they were still awesome. The avocado/jalapeño salsa they give you on the side is great. Literally the only thing I thought was weird was they gave me some salsa in a baggie....but I get it, small restaurant, not a lot of storage for multiple sizes of containers. They're doing some great stuff out of this tiny place. Go and get a Baleada.

Today I wanted something different and inexpensive. I checked Yelp, saw it was right there, and had to talk myself into it because I eat tacos ALL the time... like I'm lowkey taco'd out. But something about authentic tacos on corn from a lil shack like this? They hit different. So I went with my move. I looked at the menu and saw tongue tacos... and that sold me Mind you, I NEVER had tongue before. But I said I wanted something different, so let's stand on that. Pulled up around lunch--about 3 people waiting. There's an option to call ahead too. I waited a few minutes, but they acknowledged me quick, and you could tell they were working, so I wasn't tripping. Ordered 3 tacos: tongue (of course), shredded beef, and pork. Threw in pupusas because why not--it's been years. And a melon juice. Total was about $29, got my number, waited maybe 8-10 minutes. When they handed me the bag... it had a little weight on it I already knew. I ate in my car since there's no real inside seating, and started with the pork taco. Now listen... pork tacos can be DRY. I don't really order them for that reason. But THIS one?? Juicyyyyy. Like juices-on-my-shirt type juicy (I'm too grown for that ). Flavor was there, shredded perfect--they changed my whole outlook on pork tacos. Then I tasted the other two because they looked similar. First one ended up being the tongue... and babyyyy. Tender. Soft. It reminded me of goat--real rich and flavorful. I can't even believe I tried it, let alone LIKED it. I'm officially sold. The beef was good too, but after that tongue taco? It was hard to compete, I'm not even gonna lie. That red salsa? Flavorful with a kick. I love spice... but spice don't always love me back Still worth it. The melon juice started off a little grainy (you can tell it's real fruit), but once it settled, it smoothed out. Super refreshing. Now them pupusas... I did NOT expect two. That's why the bag felt like that Stuffed with meat and cheese, crispy on the outside, soft inside. Came with the pickled cabbage/carrot mix and that tomato-based sauce--everything worked together. Not spicy, just balanced. Only thing I'd note--no prices listed, but for everything I got (plus that big 32oz drink), it was honestly worth it.

We were sat at a table that was very wobbly - I kept worrying my water cup was going to spill. Server brought menus. I was told they did not have lengua or tripas today. So I ordered the barbacoa tacos. My husband ordered the birria burrito and we got loaded fries with al pastor. Server brought out his beer, but didn't bring a bottle opener. Then she brought out chips and salsa bottles, but no dish to put the salsa in. The wine opener and menus stayed on the table the whole time until I handed them back to her when the food arrived. She also did not bring napkins so we grabbed the paper towel roll off of the bar counter top. She did tell us at the end while we were cashing out that she is new. The food itself was really good! I thought the tacos were excellent- the barbacoa was juicy and seasoned well - perfect little street tacos! My husband enjoyed his burrito- it was solid. I ate the other half for dinner later. The loaded fries were ok. The al pastor meat was the best part. We were already full so ate about half the fries. Overall not a horrible experience because the food was very good. Casual dive atmosphere - 2 tvs were on but were. It working and the screen was all pixelated.

Large waiting area to stand and wait near the hostess station. Also has a bar area which looks like first come, first serve. We ordered drinks while we waited and hung out in the lobby area. Finally we were sat. Complimentary chips and salsa were brought right away. We Ordered drinks and the chorizo queso, which came fairly quickly. The queso is HOT, bubbling in a volcanic rock molcajete. Sooo good. Strongly suggest this item! I ordered the Tacos Tijuana (lengua). My husband ordered grilled fish tacos and an ala carte cheese quesadilla. The food was great. Lengua was a little dry- I know it's lean but it was not as juicy and gamey as I like. No other complaints except the guacamole that came with my tacos tasted artificial or "off". It also stayed very green throughout the meal which tells me there is either a lot of lemon or it is premade with something to make it not oxidate like fresh avocados. It was just not great guacamole. The frijoles charro on the other hand were excellent! Lots of flavor, pork, cooked nicely and seasoned well. I could eat that by itself. I will for sure be back.
