But folks: this place is the real destination for *hardcore* smiths, tinkerers, hobbyists, assemblers, machinists, mechanics, inventors, and craftsmen. Throughout the land. I'm tellin' ya what. Every serious 'gear head' knows Grainger. As well as architects, artists, set designers; production designers; installation artists, too. They all come here. Reliable and reassuring. Its in a whole other league than Home Depot. Location may be a bit awkward to get to; but there's parking; and inside the store is simply galaxies of tools, parts, and equipment. Helpful; (even intense) devoted staff.

I went to the factory & walked through aisles of gorgeous marble slabs until I found the perfect one for my kitchen countertop. I thought I wanted marble but ended up choosing quartz - it looked gorgeous & is much easier to maintain. Placing the order was easy. They recommended an installer who was amazing & did a perfect counter & ledge. It looks sooo beautiful, I could not believe it. And the overall price was very reasonable too. Great experience!

I really wish I remembered the name of the worker who helped me but he was a tall, dark, 40ish year old man if that narrows it down. He was so knowledgeable about the different types of wood flooring and was so eager to help. He probably spent about an hour with us. I really wanted to place an order because of him but the smart thing for me to do was to keep shopping around before going all in. I was able to find even lighter wood flooring at the shop next door, so I ended up going with them instead.

I was told by my contractor that the floor I bought would buckle with temperature changes. I was instructed to get a floor that was waterproof and not flexible. I call LL flooring and ask about the return policy. They told me that they are rebranding and will no longer be called LL Flooring but lumber liquidators instead and they are cannot lookup orders for exchanges. The policy on their website is a 90 days for exchanges or returns. I'm within the 90 day window. The next day they change the policy online. I decide to put the flooring in my car to take it back. I looked up the store hours to make sure they were open and they were closed on 10/6/24. I filed a dispute with my credit card. I also heard that they change the connecting mechanism of the tiles every 5-10 years. So when you look for 1-2 pieces to replace, you have the replace the whole floor. If you buy from them make sure you keep 2-3 extra boxes in storage ready for that day.
