That work would have been rated 3-4 stars and was done by his crew, I never actually met Saxon personally. As that work was fine, we came back to Saxon to get some more work done recently. I was extremely disappointed by Saxon's ability to stick to a schedule. 35 emails back and forth and 10 reschedules between Monday and Thursday of this week. The excuses were free flowing (delayed, sick, forgot I had to be in court, was in a bike accident). This significantly inconvenienced me for the entire week (Saxon has apologized for this). Regardless of whether it is all true, I personally am not interested in working with someone who had this many challenges sticking to a schedule to do the work.

We were greeted by a very polite & professional young man named Joe B. Aka Kfir B. He introduced himself and after I told him what I'm looking for ( three compartment sink ) he brought me over to show me what he had in stock ........ I did my homework & all the research on sizes & prices so it was very easy for me to decide; Normally I buy all my Stanless direct form a Brooklyn manufacturer however I bought a sink from them last year & I really was not impressed with their over all quality ..... Joe agreed and told me that's why he caries sapphire Name brand sinks the quality is much better & I have to agree .... We bought the sink $ 500.00 58''x 24'' with 18''X 18''X 14'' Compartments with drain baskets included ... ( FYI, I will post a picture after the sink is installed) Love a place where they are not pushy and arrogant & really look to help you.... I asked Joe to price out a grease trap which he gladly did for me and I told him I would get back to him ..... Then Joe brought my sink out & helped me load it in my vehicle... I would definitely recommend Coney Island Restaurant Equipment & would buy from them again ..... Thanks Joe it was pleasure doing business with you & your dad ..... Greg D & family

Called them for a repair on a Schonbek fixture which I had purchased form them many years ago They said they have a person who does repair work. The store took my name and #, said the repair person would call me. Four dales later a guy named Jose, calls me and starts the conversation off with excuses as to why he had not 'already called me'. At that point I did not care about his excuses, I just wanted to move forward and get the fixture repaired. We made an appointment for the next day, 2:30 PM. He never showed. At 3:30, one hour after our scheduled appointment I texted him and he just said sorry I am in NJ now, and said tomorrow same time. I said NO, I don't think you would be good to do business with. He then texted me that he was two blocks away from me, which I highly doubted. I repeated myself that I did not sense we were a good match to do business with and that I will look for someone else. He got pissed in his next text message, but that ended the exchange of messages as I did not reply to his last message. It took him 4 days to contact me and then he was a no show who for our appointment and I had to chase this guy only to tell him nah, I'm not scheduling again with you.

1/5 - Extremely poor quality and zero responsibility…read more I bought four interior doors about four years ago, and less than one month after installation they started swelling and breaking apart. This is not normal wear and tear -- it is clearly a defect caused by cheap materials and poor workmanship. I contacted Rosa immediately, multiple times, asking for help and a solution. I was completely ignored. No support, no inspection, no replacement, no accountability. Customer service was non-existent. Today, 2 out of the 4 doors are completely destroyed, despite being used in a normal indoor environment. Doors should last decades, not fail after a few weeks. This company sells low-quality products and then disappears when problems arise. Very unprofessional, very disappointing, and a waste of money. I strongly advise against buying anything from them.

Do not buy at Dykes Lumber in Long Island city or Park Slope. I tried place an order for interior…read moredoors for over five days. These doors take 6-8 weeks to make so the lost time equals lost money un investment property. The first 2 days I spoke to Andrew we discussed the doors I gave him the measurements he sent me CADDS with the wrong measurements so after 2 days of that I spoke with Gus all the while asking to speak with the only person that acts like a pro and gets the job done correctly and timely- Rita. I was told that her days and hrs were cut back!, I knew that she worked Saturdays so I tried calling again on a Saturday-day five asked to speak with her and she was not available. Still no order placed the clock ticking panic setting in I ended up speaking to Hank. We went over the CADS and discussed the measurements. The back and forth was literally maddening- then we discussed the location of the hinges for the 2 closets and 1 bathroom- he became loud aggressive, nasty, belligerent! He was unable to clearly explain how he wanted me to collect the information on the location of the hinges. First he said when you pull the door towards you are the hinges on the right or left. I told him that not all the doors are pulled some are pushed in. So then he tells me to stand inside the closet then says stand outside then he says it doesn't matter! Anyone confused here! He was clearly incapable of communicating effectively. So once again, I asked to speak with Rita. Hank said he would not transfer me to her and that I would have to deal with him. So it became too much so we ended the conversation with yet another emailed version of the wrong information on the CADS. So I spoke to my contactor, he informed me me that there was a Dykes Lumber in Park slope. So as a last ditch effort to at least get my door order placed, I spoke with the supervisor Justin. He was very apologetic, but then did nothing except to say that they were closing, and that he would call me back on Monday morning. He never did call Monday morning instead I called him. I finalize the order on Monday a full week lost! I received the confirmation email only to see That he put the wrong shipping address!!! This was clearly done intentionally because when I placed the order I filled out a credit authorization, which has my full address.! so it's not possible that this was a mistake. If this order is messed up in anyway, unfortunately, I will have to take legal action! I wish I could share snaps but it has my personal info
