I went in here on Saturday, and it was my first time trying this nail/hair salon. I went in to get my nails done and Kim the lady who did my nails really focused on keeping my nails from chipping. She made them super nice!! My nails had glitter and the glitter was really precise it does not fall out I love the way she did that! My brother got a haircut here really good! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great nail salon to go to. read more

I went here about 2 weeks ago. The nail tech kept pulling my hand and twisting it when I was perfectly relaxed. My gel nail color started chipping off the next day, I finally removed my acrylics yesterday only to discover discoloration on my natural nail bed .... I will never come here again. Okay, well every nail place will smell really weird and of course the air wont quite circulate because of the placement in the mall, but over all this place is pretty good. I've been here twice and have been satisfied. Pedicures are always done pretty quick but they last a while. When i got my gel set done, the lady ( i don't remember her name), did it quite well. she took her time and we had a little talk with each other. it was a good experience and the nails stayed for a month, at least. read more

This place is awful! The staff is super rude! I went with a friend on a Thursday morning. There were very few people in the place...and the staff completely ignored us, until they were ready to assist us (so unprofessional). The lady who seated me kept talking to the other workers in another language and wasn't listening to what I was telling her! I think it is VERY rude to carry on looooong conversations with other staff members in a language that your customer doesn't understand. Surprisingly, the actual nail service isn't too bad. My nails looked okay....for $10...what could I really ask for? Personally, I rather pay double the price....and get my nails done at Valley Fair (downstairs by the women's Macy*s). Worst service ever. Woman on the phone was almost evil she was so rude literally yelling at me. Service was below par, me and 2 roomies went to get pedis the water smelled I'm sorry to say like fart or poop water. Rushed service. When we went to pay who we thought your supposed to pay up front she yelled at us to pay who did our nails. The paint was old and didn't dry. Paint smudges all over my roomies hand. They rushed us out so they could do eachothers nails. We still tipped very well and acted nice but will never go back. Very rude! I came here for a little change of pace and nothing more. When I first came in everyone seemed pretty friendly. I came for a refill, and Jenny did my nails for me. Initially, Jenny seemed capable and I didn't have to give her a whole lot of instruction regarding my nails and what I wanted done....until it was time to paint my nails. I wanted to have my tips painted so I picked out a couple colors and tried them out on a napkin. While I was picking out my colors, one of Jenny's other clients had come in and I noticed that a sense of urgency or hurriedness had come over her. I asked if I could have a black line, but Jenny said that silver was nicer, so I let her try it out. She painted my tips but when she tried out the silver line, I didn't like it. So I asked her to stop and take it off.....that's when the attitude came. She sighed dramatically and began hastily brushing off the silver line, but because she was so busy being dramatic about it and having an attitude, she didn't realize that she was just spreading the glitter all over my nail. When I asked her to get all the glitter off, she got more mad and made a mess of my nail before taking all the color off with a tissue and starting over. The whole time she kept looking over to her other client and smirking, which was really annoying. After she re-painted the tip on my nail she asked me what color I wanted for the line (with an attitude). I asked her what colors she had, and she responded "what color do you want? just tell me what color and I'll get it" (again with the attitude). I asked her if she had black and she rolled her eyes and grabbed the black liner from a tray full of liners (which she could have just showed me in the first place.) I told her to just bring the whole tray because I wanted to see the other colors. She grabbed it and tossed it on the station. At that point I knew I needed to get the hell out of there or else I'd be going upside her head. So I told her just to try out the black so I could see it. She sloppily painted a black line on my nail, the line was crooked and instead of having her do it right, I just told her I didn't like it and to take it off, so she got another attitude and said "well just leave it like this then" and proceeded to slap clear coat on my remaining nails....which would have been fine, but I had white tip underneath the color and some of it was peaking through. I took the high road and decided to just leave it alone, because I didn't want to be there any longer than necessary and was eager to get the hell out of there. While my nails were drying, she worked on her other client and even though she was speaking vietnamese, I just know that she was talking smack about me. I think part of reason she was impatient and rude was because she had another client waiting, but that's not my problem. I was her current client and that's no excuse to do a quick, half ass job on my nails, especially if she wants to get paid. I just sat there while my nails were drying and shook my head. How stupid could she be to have been so rude and then sit there and bad mouth me while I was sitting there, and I still hadn't paid?? Little did she know that I was gonna give her a mouthful and I wasn't going to tip her a dime. ;-) Take that! When my nails were done drying I went to the front to pay. I asked her what her name was, she said Jenny. I said " You know what Jenny? You have very poor customer service skills, and there is no reason for you to be giving your clients an attitude just because they don't like how their nails turned out, especially if you want to retain any clients" She just looked down the whole time I was talking. Then I said, "You certainly shouldn't be talking bad about your clients in front of them neither, even if you are speaking a different language, that is just flat out unprofessional" and when I said that, she looked over to her right to see if any of the other employees were watching. After that, I paid for my services and left. I will definately not be back In all fairness, I do want to acknowledge that although Jenny was rude as all hell, she shaped my nails very well and didn't cut me with any of her instruments...for this reason I was tempted to give the shop two stars. But then I realized, what good is a fill if the paint job is horrible and the service is shitty?? No good at all my friend, no good at all! read more

I'm gunna start this review off by mentioning that I am heavily pierced and tattooed but eyebrow waxing makes me cry. Ha. My friend recommended this place for eyebrow waxing and swears by Nancy so I decided to give it a shot. I was disgusted by how unclean it was. She didn't change the towels on the table. It was also similar to a drill line. There were two people before us and two after us and she went super fast and didn't really even care who she was waxing. I thought she was going to cut me with her scissors she was going so fast. It ended up being $10 and I tipped her $5 (which was probably a little too much for the experience) and as soon as I did then she thanked me. Once you throw money at her she cares. I like a more personal experience and it definitely wasn't that. The end result was good but the painful experience just wasn't worth it for me to go back. read more

I went in for my first and LAST haircut there. The old balding Vietnamese lady, who seemed quite annoyed to do her job, gave me the WORST customer service I have ever seen. I asked her to cut my hair short like the military style and she asked me what number. Normally there's a chart that I could reference and I didn't see any chart there. When I asked her if she had a chart she seemed annoyed and looked like she was gonna look for it but decided it wasn't worth it to actually and try to FUCKING help a customer. So, she just said she'll cut my hair at number 4 to which she said if I wanted it shorter I could just say so, and I agreed. When it wasn't short enough, I asked for a 3, and then when I asked for a 2, she fucking complained. Now mind you, she was the one complaining. She said if it was too short, that I shouldn't complain which I had NEVER fucking complained in the first place but she assumed like the asshole she is that I would. When it was all over she kept asking for a fucking tip. Normally I would be happy to tip my barber, but not this old fucking bitch. You're supposed to WORK for a tip, not be fucking rude to your customer. Oh yeah, she had hit my head a few times with her fucking comb. I assume it was fucking intentional now. And I will never go back to that fucking place ever again. That old lady should NOT be working in any kind of customer service business EVER. I was looking for a place to go get a set of acrylics removed. I called ahead and they said someone would be ready when I got there, upon arrival I had to wait 20 mins before I was seated. The lady who did my nails was friendly but to remove my acrylics she took a pick and shoved it under my nail to remove them. She tore half my nails yanking them off and when she was using the rotary tool she would go on my skin. OUCH! After removing my nails and sanding them all down she asked me to wash my hands in a foot bath. She cut my nails very, very short and got gel polish all over my skin that I had to remove at home. The lotion she used on my hands smells absolutely horrible and the smell has been lingering for a few days. Also while I was getting my nails done a woman near me was getting a pedicure and when I looked over at her, there was blood all over her feet. I watched a bit and noticed how careless the woman doing her toes was being. She was clipping her skin and then putting alcohol directly into her cut to sterilize it. She yelped in pain every time and the woman blamed her for not coming in sooner. read more

ugh. thank god it was my sister getting her eyebrows waxed because i would have thrown a fit. she was desperate for an eyebrow waxing and decided to stop by this place since we were in the mall. the lady, don't know her name, was really unprofessional. she would blow on the wax, then put it on my sister. once, the wax hit her lips, she grunted, and just acted like nothing happened. it was disgusting. also, according to my sister, she let the wax sit on her skin for too long, causing unnecessary pain when it was ripped off. an extra hunk was ripped off her eyebrows, making them crooked and when we went to eat dinner, i noticed that you can still see hair underneath the arch. it was like nothing got waxed! i could have done a better job with my eyes closed and without any waxing experience. never again am i stepping foot in there. read more

I will never ever return to this spa let alone this mall. I am mortified by the treatment and atmosphere. My girlfriend and I were in town for a concert on Monday night and decided to stop in for a mani and pedi. When we walked in there was no one there. That should have been the first sigh something was wrong. We were told to pick a color and have a seat - seemed normal. Not only was this the fasted most horrible pedi I have ever had but my girlfriend was sexually harassed. The nail jobs were horrendous: polish thick and chunky, didn't paint part of the nails, polish all over the skin, nails filed crooked and mine were so uneven I am embarrassed to wear open toed shoes again until they grow out, cuticles cut back so far I started to bleed, etc. the pedi was done so fast there was no massage, or any other part of the pedi process done. The polish job could have been done better by my friends 9 year old daughter. The manicure was so bad that during my nail techs process of "filing" my nails I told her to stop. She was using a nail buffer that scratched my nails really bad. it was the kind you use to rough up the nail before fake nails are put on. I asked her to please buff them smooth as they looked and felt horrible. She once again picked up the thick buff bar and started again, she reached for my other hand and I told her no, don't touch that hand just put some glitter clear polish to cover the scratched nail bed so I can leave. She then proceeded to talk in a foreign language to the other nail techs and they all glared at me. I could tell instantly they were talking about me. I was very upset at the rude and unprofessional treatment I received. As I was letting my mani dry I asked my girlfriends nail tech to remove the finger nail polish because I rather have crooked rough nails then what they looked like polished WHICH WAS BAD, VERY BAD! He then had her come over and remove it. I could tell something was wrong with my friend. I asked her if she was okay and she said no, she just wanted to get out of here. She asked my nail tech to remove her nail polish as well since she just got done removing mine. My tech ignored her and waked away. She was forced to remove it herself with a cotton ball and nail polish remover from a mani stand. As we left I again asked her what was wrong. She said that her male nail tech was very inappropriate and she looked extremely mortified. She then told me when she sat down he was rubbing her feet and said "I am here for your sole pleasure, if you need anything let me know, I am more then happy to pleasure you in any way" She then proceeded to tell me he started telling her filthy jokes. Jokes about a preist hearing confessions about sexual acts women do which ended in a very detailed blow job and a joke about a female receiving oral sex. I HAVE NEVER EVER IN MY LIFE HEARD OF A BUSINESS TELLING THESE THINGS TO A CLIENT. I was horrified and disgusted when she told me. Had I known when it happened I would have slapped him and probably called the mall security. We tried calling and asking for a manager at the store so they were made aware of what was being done to clients and were given the run around. We were told the manager is never in and they don't know when they would be in or how to contact them. We then called the Malls Manager and filed an official complaint. I do not recommend this place to anyone, aside from the sexual harassment they do a horrific nail job. We are not prude or anything like that but all we wanted was a nice pedi and instead were given the rush treatment with horrible results and offered basically a "happy ending" from the nail tech. Came here for a quick fix pedicure. The lady did my pedi in 15 mins. It hurts 'cause she was rushing and my toe nails came out all crooked. My feet weren't even clean after all that quick "spa" treatment. She also asked me if I was Vietnamese, and when I said "No, I'm Filipino." She called one of the staff and pointed at my toes and started talking in Vietnamese. I felt like they were talking about how ugly my toes were and that I should get my eyebrows done. highly highly do not recommend going here for nails. After reading the reviews other people on yelp have posted i decided to check them out. after finally finding them in the mall the place looked ok and the ladies in side were friendly at first. Jenny sat me down and i explained to her what it is i wanted and that i wanted the tips slightly rounded. She said ok. She starts to file the top of my nails down and every time she got to one finger it kept burning (which is because she kept getting my skin and she ended up taring off some skin and making me bleed. The was just the start of my bad experience. So after she puts on the fake nail i noticed some were crooked and she said "i'll fix in a little" but she never did (MISTAKE #2). Oh and btw she only talked like 5times to me the hour and a half she was doing my nails (MISTAKE #3.. nails never take a hour and half) So she tells me to go wash my hands and now the 3rd time i ask if she was still going to round the tops cause normally they do that before they have you wash your hands and her response was "yes i will after". So i'm thinking ok she'll do it before she paints them. I come back we pick the color and she goes to start painting the tips and now the 4th time i ask her again about rounding the tips because its going to mess up the polish if she does it after wards. but she kept saying the same thing again "yes i will after". So again i'm thinking ok this place maybe does it different then all the other places i've been. After the last top coat she walks away with out saying a ward. about 15mins later she finally comes back (and i timed it btw) and says "ok its dry you can go now". Yet again by now i'm really not happy at how my nails are looking (they're crooked, the ends were ridged because she never filled off the end where the extra acrylic had dried, there were air bubbles in the polish, the tips (the blue part of my nails) were uneven and you could see where my nail ended and the fake nail began ,and the one thing i was saying from the moment she started still wasn't done they were still squared. (MISTAKE # 4) This time when i asked i was completely dumb founded when she said "what do you mean by rounded". I was thinking "omg are you freaking kidding me the whole time when you kept saying yes after after after you didnt even f**ken know what i was talking about." i was and still am pissed so was not worth 30+$5 tip. Oh and here is the funny part. so finally she starts to rounded them with the polish still on but soon realized she had to take that off. You know that feeling someones talking about you in another language. well after i got back from washing my hands again while they were talking in their language i kept hearing little English phrases like "don't like... rounded... not squared" i could not f**ken believe this and by now i've been there for over 2hrs. The most awkward feeling i've ever had. This time she rushed painting them (putting one coat instead of 2), rounded them way too much now they look like baby blue tipped easter eggs, polish is all messed up and my finger still stings from her cutting me. if you dont believe me go check it out your self but i don't recommend it. This review is for Nancy my eyebrow godess! I have seeing Nancy for about 10 years now and she always gets my eyebrows right! Eyebrows to me are one of the most important things on our face and it's always the first thing I look (don't ever trust a girl with bad brows). Anyways Nancy always gets me in and out in about 10 minutes and my brows are always on point each and every time! Their is no one else I trust with my brows! I have thick brows and she always cleans them up perfectly, still while maintaining the shape! The place itself is a little bit on the....shabby side, but as long as Nancy is their I will continue on being her loyal customer! And btw if you go to see her she doesn't work Mondays and Wednesdays. read more

They were the rudest people I have ever met, one of the employees sat me down and started judging my nails and was doing everything so aggressively. She actually cut me about 3 times with the electric filer and the regular filing stick. It hurt so bad I couldn't do it anymore I asked her to please stop and she stopped and went to wash my hands and I said how much is it? And she said oh $20. She charged me $20 after she cut me and never finished my fill and it said clearly on the sign outside they charged $15 for a fill. Never going back again, worst nail salon ever. Every time I find a beautician that I like they end up moving. Luckily I came across the reviews for Natalie at Fantasy Nails and was hopeful. I made an appointment as suggested. I was so thrilled with her work. She was super friendly. I love that she doesn't like thin eyebrows and tried to keep my eyebrows full but nicely shaped. Even better was that I have super sensitive skin and normally break out after waxing and did not break out at all. I will definitely be a repeat customer. She even mentioned that she has been there for 11 years assuring me that she will not be leaving any time soon =) read more

I use to get my eyebrow wax by Natalie. I been going there for more than 10 years. It is sad that she left without saying goodbye to her loyalty customers. Now I got my eyebrow wax with Nancy. Nancy is very lovely and nice. I also get my pedicure done there too. It is nice to go there on weekend after I get off around 7 pm because it's not that busy. The price to get eyebrow and upper lip wax is $15 plus tips $20 and pedicure & $ 20. This is a bargains and I love it. I would recommend you to go there. 3.5 stars Ok i had to say this, but someone commented how they thought it was rude that someone was carrying a conversation on with their coworker in another language. Come on...DUH. Lets say you went to France, learned the language but obviously still shaky in it, got a job and found someone who was from the U.S. too, would you not speak in English since it was easier for you? Or would you stutter, use horrible grammer and possibly accidentally offend customers just because you don't fully know the language and may say it wrong? I can understand the shit talking concept but that happens everywhere in areas dealing with customer service. Get angry and deal with it through the tip. And to now to my review. It was a pretty average experience. My friend and I came in, waited about one minute till we were helped. Sadly on their nail color wall there is no Opi but my nail color lasted for a good while either way. Manicures are $10 here. Something that irked me a little, i mean i can be wrong or whatnot but how exactly do you sterilize your instruments. I mean i've seen 20/20 news stuff about people getting fungus from places that didnt sterilize well. But anyways, Jenny told me to go wash my hands and i go to the sink and i see some chick cleaning instruments with regular soap. Made me go kinda O_o. The price wasn't bad. It was $55 dollars, plus I left a generous tip. I brought my own nail polish bc I remember their collection didn't have much but neon colors & colors I don't tend to paint my nails (liking neutrals).... 2 weeks later, my nails grew out a considerable amount for a girl that can go up to 3 weeks without needing a fill ( my nails don't grow fast) ..... She left so much acrylic under my nail, it looks horrible!!!!! Also, in all my years getting my nails done, I've never had a nail just fall off!!!! How is that even possible?!
