We come from across town to get our mani pedis here at Top Care Nails. Pricing is very reasonable and the ladies here are super sweet! I usually call ahead of time to schedule my appointment, although they do accept walk-in's if they're not too busy. They could use some updating like paint, light decoration, and better organization of their nail polishes. If you're looking for quality work without the high pricing, check them out! read more

This neighborhood nail salon has been here for many years. I've been coming here for over 20 plus years. I don't need the frills and the vibrating chairs. Just getting my nails done either acrylic , gel or just plain - always getting a wonderful job from the friendly staff. Bring cash and tip well, read more

Why not get a pedi and mani on a Sunday, I came in a little after 5. I can be a little boujee at times lol there isn't an option for the massage chair with your pedi. My heart was crushed! It didn't take long for me to realize that chair is a real distraction, Lucy have holy hands. I felt this pedicure all the way up my back she was doing some serious work! I don't think I ever want to sit in a chair again, that foot massage was AMAZING. I'd recommend LUCY anytime really sweet lady. Go LUCY GO The Manicure was just as amazing, Lucy's tiny fingers are very powerful! THANKS LUCY read more

If you want cheap, no frills nails services, Top Nail does it. I always pass by here while in the Plaza but have only gotten my nails done very recently. My mom and I came on a weekday around lunch time and there was only one other client in at the time, so I think my if you come in early in the afternoon, they can accommodate you as a walk in. I made an appointment for a manicure on a Friday at 4, and good thing too! The store was filled with people when I came, but they started with my manicure on time. Kudos for not running on Asian time! It took about 20 minutes total and included the standard soak, cuticle scraping, skin trimming, lotion rub down, and nail painting. Base, color, top. They have a case of their own colors but I brought my own. They have 6 chairs total. 5 out of 6 were filled during my entire appointment. Very busy! Most ladies were getting pedicures. They run $15. The shop is fairly small but very poorly ventilated. Would not advise you to come here if you are very sensitive to chemicals and strong scents. I don't do my nails often at all, but this place is so close to home and just darn cheap I might just go again. read more

This place is located on the right side of the shop called Pekoe. We called 10 minutes before showing up and they were able to accommodate us. Going into the salon, it's a small place with no massage chairs and only tables for manicures. I wish they had a sample collection for their gel polishes. The lady who did my nails was really quiet but she kept putting acrylic powder on my skin and on the sides of the nail. So when she bent back the flesh on the sides of my nails to separate the acrylic from my skin, it really hurt. Then she'd aggressively file the sides. When I came home, there was a layer of acrylic stuck underneath my nail that when I tried to take it out, it ripped with my skin and underneath the nail started bleeding. Moreover, there's this weird flakey stuff stuck to my nail and skin that feels like a thin layer of plastic skin stuck to my cuticles. Prices are a deal though , so you definitely get what you pay for. Not too sure I'd come here for pedicures because they store their portable tub in the bathroom right in front of the toilet. read more

I've never been a big fan of getting my nails done. I literally only get my nails done once in a blue moon, for special occasions. Well lucky for me, it was time to get a nice mani! I heard about Top Nail Care from my niece . She had her nails done here a few days before and she said it was an amazing experience! I walked in at around 9:45 am, I was nicely greeted and asked how I could be helped. I waited less than 5 minutes to be helped and in that span of time, I noticed they use bags on the pedi tubs which made me very happy! They are clean and care about their clients safety! Throughout my French gel mani, the nice lady made sure to ask me if I was okay with my length of nails and the thickness I wanted on my French tip. The prices are competitive to other businesses in the area, and I feel they offered me the best price for what I was looking for. read more

- CASH ONLY - they don't have an ATM machine, so be prepared. - NO fancy massaging pedi spa chairs. - $16 for a pedi! From the minute I walked in, the ladies were super friendly. Lisa was doing my pedi and she did a very thorough job. I sometimes have ingrown nails on my big toes and other nail salons are usually hesitant when I ask them to remove it (yea yea, I understand why, but come on!). Not Lisa though! She was straight up. She and I both knew how much it would hurt NOT to remove it, so she said, "It's going to hurt if I remove it, but it will hurt more if I don't... are you ready?" Hey... I appreciated her honesty and even more so, the fact that she was going to relieve me of my ingrown toenail pain!! I have a toddler who accidentally steps on my toes ALL THE TIME and the pain kills me. So I took a deep a breath and said, "Ok, DO IT." And she did. And it hurt like a b. But I was SO happy after. I didn't miss the pedi spa chairs one bit. 1) my pedi was cheaper, and 2) I never use the massage features anyway because they are uncomfortable, IMO. Thank you, Lisa! I will definitely be back! read more

I always get a good job in this place! Everybody do a great job. I like my pedicure too, they are very gentle. read more

Lucy gives me the best pedicures! I have a deep hard to get to ingrown I know it's sick and hurts but she's always Able to remove it with out hurting me bad. I mean of course it does a little but it's not her fault. It's always satisfying when it comes out. It doesn't get infected like I've experienced at multiple places. Or some other salons won't even attempt to remove even when I tell them to. There isn't fancy pedicure massage chairs, but I rather sit on the office chairs they have then have a crap job done at a $$$ fancy spot that doesn't remove my ingrown and doesn't even massage my feet or legs. Lucy will put in that work for $28 gel pedi and the massages last longer too. My pedicure here is always a lot better than any fancy expensive spot. So if you wanna pay less for a good pedicure ask for Lucy. read more

Came here based off the good reviews. Wasn't expecting a high end salon but also wasn't expecting to be seated in a office with a dollar tree container to soak my feet in. Was uncomfortable the whole time. The massage just felt like she was rubbing lotion on my leg. Felt very uneasy the whole time here. I'm not even convinced the tools used were sanitized and cleaned properly. Guess you get what you pay for. read more

This is not your typical nail spa for the pedicures. For the pedicure you will sit on an office chair with the foot soakers you can buy at the store. however it is very clean and the basin for soaking your feet is lined with a bag. All the ladies are very thorough and give excellent massages. You can't beat the price. $18 for a pedicure. The shellac manicure is $20 and totally worth it. My favorite tech is Lisa. read more

This happens every time I'm too lazy to go to Color nails or make an appointment at Diva or JJ nails. This place is cash only, but no ATM machine. The lady didn't tell me until my shoes were off and they started to file the gel off the top of my toes. The closest ATM is on the other side of the shopping center at Safeway. She wanted to stop and make me go get cash before she finished. I understand they would want to be paid first but tell me that before you start working on me. Also, they have gel service but no examples... you have to guess from the bottles. Gel polish looks different when it's dried it's not like regular polish which is why EVERY SINGLE PLACE that offers it has examples. Not this place. They don't have massage chairs either. Who doesn't have massage chairs by now? This may seem like a petty request but you try holding your leg at an angle while they polish your toes and you sitting in a goddamn rolling chair. Not comfy dude. And of course the lady cut my toe when she was cutting my cuticles. And poured alcohol on it afterwards WTH that ish hurt. Im only giving it two stars because the lady who answers the phone is nice and the final result was okay. The massage was a regular, nothing special quick rub. The prices are a bit lower than other places, I paid $45 for a gel manicure and gel pedicure. So I guess if you want to save $15 and don't mind actually relaxing then this is the place for you. read more

I have been going here for over 20yrs! Sure I've tried other places especially since I don't live in SJ anymore but it's just not the same. Kim is amazing and I will continue to come here. Her attention to detail and amazing massage makes for a great pedicures! read more

This place is a great little hole in the wall that I've been coming to for years. The staff is super friendly and considerate. They know your name as soon as you walk in and are very accommodating. I usually go for the shellac manicure and I am consistently pleased with the results. They are very reasonably priced, given the fact that they don't have the big pedicure chairs or fancy manicure desks. read more

This place has been my go to for a mani-pedi since 2001. Nothing fancy no high end vibrating spa chair. However, the best inexpensive mani-pedi bar none. Cash only. Only draw back. However, Lisa and Lucy are the best for doing your nails. Not the place to go to for fancy trinkets, be-dazzled, rhinestone infested nails. Nope. None of that here. Just your standard gel or acrylic nails. The best foot massage ever by Lisa!!! Sometimes I go here just for a foot massage. Lovely ladies. No matter where I have gone, I always come back here for the best service ever. Clean too. read more

My mother, sister and I have been coming to top care nails for many years. Love all the ladies who work here, they are all very nice and do a great job. Prices are very reasonable and have a great selection of polish. I always receive complements on the color and shape of my nails, &I give it up to my girls at top care nails. Go check them out! read more

I've been a loyal customer here for over 5 years. I'm all about supporting the local neighborhood boutique shops. They do not have fancy elevated massage chairs w/ the high tech water hoses squirting at your toes. They do everything here the old school way, which means they bring out the make shift tubs. The entertainment is the best because they will always have some asian continuation movie on. Yet another place where everyone just knows your name :-) read more

The ladies there are so kind and did a great job. They took their time and made sure I was happy. I will be coming back here.

Top Care Nails - Refill, 1 hr and 10 mins long, $25.. Thank you Kim!!! Always love my nails!! - Nail Salons Near Me - San Jose, California

So we decieced to try a new spot. Sorry to say they did a crappy job! Both of us left unhappy. They don't know how to shape, paint and clean up gel-nails properly. They don't listen to how you want your nails done. They do it their way. Ugghhh... Now we have pay again to get them fixed or probably redone. This was our first and last time we come here! read more

Terrible place they left my nails horrible I they were supposed to be acrylic nails, so I didn't let them finish and they still charged me so I went to another place so they could take them off and I had to pay again terrible communication and very rude I would never go there again!!! They don't even deserve one store but that's what I had to put zero stars is their review read more

I've been going to Top Care Nails for around 15 years. The ladies are very hard working, friendly and efficient. They'll get you in and out of the shop, and they'll have your nails looking great. Make an appointment before going on weekends as they get VERY busy. Great prices! read more

The ladies who work here work very hard and are very nice. The place is not fancy in the slightest, but neither is the price at $14.00 for a pedicure. I want to give this place a better rating, but I can't. Nearly every time I come here the gal doing my pedicure jabs me too hard with the cuticle stick and ouch!!! They all do it the same and are trying to push back your cuticle with a metal cuticle tool and there are suds all over your toe. They can't see where they are pushing. I have been to three different ladies here and they all do it. After the pain I went through after the gal jabbed me on the edge of my cuticle I will not be coming back. I have a sore now where she hurt me during my pedicure. It took two weeks to heal the sore she gave me. I know the gal felt bad about it after she could see what she had done. She did a very nice pedicure on me, but they are just too rough here! I will go back to my favorite girl, My Lan, at Cutuore and pay the $30.00 because she never hurts me. read more
