I walked in at opening without an appt. A tech approached me, not knowing I am Vietnamese and asked what would I like in English. I was already planning to do both and a manicure and pedicure but I said manicure. She's like do a pedicure too, and when I said yes, she turned to the other techs loudly saying in Vietnamese, yes! I convinced her to do her feet too, more money! I showed a picture of what I wanted and what I got wasn't even close. Only thing different that I requested was the shape and colors of the flowers. Would not go back here!!!! Also seems like an unsafe location. During my visit, the store would get random homeless men barging in. Never coming back. Review for Redberry Nails I had a very disappointing experience at Redberry Nails. I came in with my best friend and my mom for pedicures. My nail tech, Jasmine, was great attentive and professional. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was not. My best friend and my mom were repeatedly ignored when they needed assistance. My mom was asking for sandals and no one helped her. I tried to get staff attention, and I eventually had to step in myself because no one else would. Things became even more uncomfortable when they told my mom she had fungus, and then expected her to step barefoot onto the salon floor to get sandals instead of assisting her properly. That is extremely unhygienic and unprofessional. On top of that, my best friend did not receive the full pedicure service. She was skipped on the hot stones, and the only reason she finally received them was because Jasmine stepped in and did it herself, even though she was not assigned to her. I've been here before with my sister and never experienced anything like this. I paid $160, and for that price we should have received full services and basic respect. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing, and I won't be returning. read more

I have Anna did my pedicure & manicure and she did an excellent job. I choose the most expensive pedicure cause my callus condition is bad.. plus she also gives me an oil message on my feet for at least 10min and I feel being pampered. Loved my deluxe pedicure by Anna! She was friendly, attentive and detailed, and took time to do it nicely. She also did my basic manicure but it felt a lil rushed. She din use the uv lamp to dry in between the applications on my hand, like she had done for my legs and my paint ruined and got impressions as I started to do chores post the manicure. I'd still recommend Anna, maybe just ask her to dry the paint if she doesn't do it herself. She was extremely nice and helpful! read more

Got my nails done Friday by a male nail tech, before Mother's Day weekend and by Sunday the nail polish was already peeling and had major air bubbles! Also, underneath my nails was hardened acrylic power that keeps snagging on everything. I went back on Monday and the lady who took me was having a really bad time redoing my design and had a "bothered" look on her face the whole time! They didn't charge me to fix or repaint 3 nails but I still left a tip. Needless to say I won't be going back! read more

I had to skip my usual nail lady because I was up against time. I have never been to this nail salon and was just passing through. Sometimes, we get lucky for trying spots that don't have the best of reviews and sometimes we don't. In this case, my fellow Yelpers pretty much warned me. The color selections were good but the nail salon as a whole was not as clean (not to mention, thoroughly sanitized) as I would probably have preferred. For example, there were still nail dust particles on the manicure stations, dirty towels being thrown to the floor (without being picked up for prolonged time periods), and pedicure stations were barely being wiped down in between clients. I will also share that I made an appointment for 5:45pm and wasn't seen until about 6:05pm. I was switched between 3 different technicians -- which I normally wouldn't mind -- but in this case, was a bit frustrated already because I was seen 20 minutes past my appointment time. It just tells me the scheduler didn't coordinate the nail technicians well enough based on their speciality. So, when someone wanted a full set -- they were switching staff around when they have already started on a client. Anyway, rant over. This place is cash only. If you only have your debit card, there's at ATM inside the shop or a Bank of the West adjacent to their entrance. read more

Not Bad, Not Bad. My sister was in the mood to get her nails did and we made our way to another nail salon, the wait they were quoting was an hour(+) long so we left. Yes , I understand that Christmas is a few days away and the establishment was busy busy but waiting THAT long was not an option. I threw out the option of stopping by Redberry and although my sister was not very fond of the low reviews, the small wait time promised had us ready to go. Parking wasn't too bad. There are plenty spots available in front of the business which fills up quick but the ones requiring more of a walk wasn't bad either. We came in and was greeted by the male owner of the shop? We told him what we wanted to have done and the waiting game began. Fast Forward: Lyly was the nail tech. A bit aggressive to a certain degree but meticulous nonetheless. I really liked how she took the time to perfect each and every edge. The process was not rushed even though the house was a zoo. Only complaint is her not cleaning the work area down after seeing the previous client. Threatening to clip my nails lady was standing in doorway n lucky i didnt slap her THIS NAILS SHOP IS VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL I WENT YESTERDAY and the lady first said come sit in the nail chair i was sitting for 45 mins before even coming over to me then the lady doing my nails had an attitude i asked for her to add the gold glitter i had brought n she said thats fine $70 with design and i had no problem paying that but starting she put the acrylic on so thick then i noticed n said something n was filing my nails hurting me she blamed it on the length of my nails as I explained to her my nail are always long She got mad n tried to threaten to clip my set off after just putting it on after i said she was hurting me then didnt use my gold as i asked I washed my hands in their sink scraxhing n rubbing trying to get all the crusty stuck on glue the lady left around my fingers looked like i was playing in super glue n still charged me $70 as i talked to the casher trying to ask n explain how i felt the woman that had did my set was standing in the door way holding nail Clippers like she was trying to threaten me its the service service for me n your redberry nail establishment is a whole on the wall with no respect for costumer service!!! I had the worst experience at this nail salon, do not go here. Higiene is horrible, the tech got upset when I asked to change the water because when I got there it was already filled and I was not comfortable with soaking my feet in it. They used old files, when I asked to use a new one she got upset and instead used the drill. She did not use cuticle softer on my feet and when I asked her to, she said she did and I just didn't see her do it and to let her just work. I was completely uncomfortable and disgusted by the salon itself there were flies everywhere. She was rude and made me feel as if I was asking for a lot when I just wanted a pedicure. It just to be an amazing place, nevertheless three Sundays ago I got there around 4pm for a refill of my nails. Big mistake! There were two ladies working on nails, another on a pedicure and three other doing nothing. I waited until 6:25pm to get in a chair. Finally I let them know I just want a refill and there were two nails that had fallen and needed repair. They told me I need it to take them off all of them. 1 my natural nail got destroyed. This (possible new girl) made a mess and cut my nails super short to the point it hurt so bad and broke one of my natural nails making bleeding for a while. It hurt so bad that I had to call my boyfriend. She didn't say sorry she just walk away. They wanted me to come back in a week to have them fix. I couldn't! 1.I had a wedding coming up and 2. My work is heavy and cannot have my natural nails exposed the way they left them (all bloody) finally another lady took over and help me adding a small powder cover on top. $55 at least she fix the other mistake and I'm grateful for it. read more
