First lash fill of 2025, and once again, Teresa at CC Cosmetics delivers perfection. I've said it before, but it bears repeating--she's amazing at what she does. As a self-admitted perfectionist, I know I can be picky, but Teresa always takes her time, listens carefully to my concerns, and ensures I leave happy every single time. Oh, and if you didn't know--she also does incredible ombré eyebrows! For someone like me who doesn't wear makeup but wants to look like I've put in the effort, semi-permanent makeup for lashes and brows is the perfect solution. Plus, it feels great to support a talented local business that truly cares about its clients. This is my second review for CC Cosmetics, and I couldn't start the year without sharing how much I appreciate Teresa and her work. Highly recommend! 5/5. read more

I was in need of a mani and pedi but was very short on time. I called this spot for an appointment based on a yelp search -- the reviews looked promising so I was excited for the experience. First of all, I wasn't seen until 20 minutes after my appointment time and while many of us would agree there is a shortage of service workers across all industries -- there were several technicians just hanging by the back chit chatting. That tells me these guys don't honor and respect the time of clients that have busy schedules. By the time I was walked over for my pedicure, the set up time kept getting interrupted because the staff kept chitter chatting. Fast forward, the pedicure and manicure were standard and nothing spectacular but was way overpriced for what it was. My nail polish was chipped within 48 hours of the manicure (mind y'all, I opted for the usual shellac manicure) -- so that tells me the nail polish was either watered down with another chemical mixture or of poor quality. If the salon will charge higher prices ($100 for mani and pedi) then at least send your clients out with quality polish that will last beyond 48 hours. Waste of my time and my money. P.S. the overall vibe of the salon and the million questions from the host was just overwhelming. All I wanted was a shellac manicure and pedicure of good quality -- don't think that's too much to ask for. read more

Appointments: *Friday, January 27th, 2023 at 1pm - Classic Full Set 90%-100% with Cathy ($155 with $50 deposit) *Saturday, February 11th, 2023 at 4pm - Volume Regular Fill 75% with Mimi ($78 with $25 deposit) *Wednesday, March 8th, 2030 at 12:30pm - Hybrid Full Fill 90%-100% with Emily ($91 with $25 deposit) *Saturday, April 1st, 2023 at 4:30pm - Hybrid Full Fill 90%-100% with Teresa ($95 with $25 deposit - cash discount) I finally decided to try eyelash extensions this year and I have to say, I'm addicted! Decided to try CC Cosmetics since they are close by the hubby's house in SJ. My first appointment was quick and easy. Maybe that's why Cathy is a Master! The second appointment with Mimi was super fast as well. (She is a Junior Artist.) It was supposed to take 1.25 hours, but I was out in less than an hour. Emily and Teresa are Senior Artists and did a great job with my Hybrid fills. After trying a full classic set, 75% volume set, and 90%-100% hybrid sets, I think the Hybrid set is my fav. Would give them 5 stars, but there is always a weirdness when it comes to paying with a credit card. Other than my first appointment, any time I say I want to pay with a CC, I get a little resistance. I managed to stand my ground the 2nd and 3rd appointment, but this last one, I was asked if I had venmo instead. When I said again, I'd rather use my CC, they said the CC machine was down. Or I guess their internet was down? Regardless, I ended up paying in cash and using almost all the cash I had on me. I wish they had mentioned before the appointment they could not process any CC payments. I would have prepared better. I adore the lashes I get here, I just don't love the resistance to CC payments. If you plan on paying with a credit card, I'd suggest confirming before the appointment they can process a CC payment. read more

If you need your eyebrows done, check out Tuyen! Her work is amazing. I came across her instagram @acairbrows, saw all of her amazing work, and immediately messaged her. Booking was easy: I sent her a picture of my bare brows, she approved, we set up an appointment together, and then I sent my security deposit through Venmo. It was fast and simple. She was very patient with me because I almost had to reschedule. My eyebrows were uneven and I was tired of looking bare, so I decided to get powder brows done. I wanted to enhance my natural brow shape and Tuyen helped me achieve that. I really love how even and natural they look now! At first, I was scared at how dark they were but that's just part of the process. Don't be afraid! After the scabs peeled, I finally got to see the true shape and color. I'm in love! Thank you Tuyen!!! read more

This was my first time getting a lash lift, and unfortunately, it ended up being more traumatizing than pampering. Pros: * Emily, the senior lash technician, had a gentle touch. She made me feel relaxed enough to fall asleep during the procedure. * Lily, my pedicure technician, was an absolute gem -- kind, patient, and genuinely attentive. She made that part of the visit truly pleasant. Cons: * Emily, while gentle, didn't speak or understand much English. Communication was almost impossible, and to make things worse, her hands smelled strongly of raw garlic. No mask, no gloves -- not exactly hygienic. * The environment was extremely unprofessional. Other technicians kept entering the room during my lash lift and chatted very loudly in Chinese, laughing and talking over each other with zero regard for the fact that a client was being serviced. It felt chaotic and disrespectful. * Kim, who did my eyebrow waxing, was outright rude. Right after my lash lift, she hurriedly asked me to move to her station, saying she had other clients waiting. She rushed the waxing process so badly that I ended up with immediate redness and bumps -- something I've never experienced before, even after years of regular waxing. * I requested aloe for my irritated skin, and she claimed she had already applied it -- but when I insisted, she dabbed some on carelessly, clearly just to shut me up. Overall, the poor hygiene standards, loud atmosphere, and lack of professionalism ruined what should've been a relaxing self-care day. If not for Lily's care and Emily's gentle technique (albeit with caveats), I'd have rated this even lower. read more

It's been a couple months since I was here. I was desperate for a pedicure after work. I've been bouncing between this place, and another nail care place. Lily is actually new to CC. She's been doing nails for 3 years, and I was surprised that she's so knowledgeable about nail care. Lily talked me through the process on what she was doing, and explained the background on ingrown toe nails. She is also taking her time as we speak. She also seems super honest as well. I think I might come back more often. Great job Lily! read more

Recently I came here to touch up on my eye brows originally done by Cathy, owner. Her artist has been doing my lashes, Emily, whom does a fantastic job! Cathy is always welcoming, friendly, and professional. Can talk to her like you've known her for a lifetime. Shop is always clean and busy. So, best to book an appointment online ahead of time. Can't really leave a long review because I've said everything previously and would be repeating myself, ha. Great salon overall. Left satisfied once again! ^^ read more

I spoke nicely to a guy. I don't know if he's the owner or not about my nails one week and they started breaking apart. My daughter wanted, medium size and the lady decided for her and gave her the size that she wanted the guy was very rude to my daughter who was only 13 years old they're overpriced. Please don't go here. Your nails will break apart in less than 3 to 5 days. They're really rude. They don't know how to treat a customer $83 for nails to fall apart in less then five days it's unbelievable. read more

The service was very professional, Cathy was very polite and helpfully with my first appointment on my eyebrows. The environment was clean, they did have some remodeling in another section but nothing to major to interrupt my appointment. I was told to trust the process and on my touch up. I can decided to go dark and or to have changes made (obviously nothing to drastic of changes), but when first done my skin was a little red and irritated. For now until then I will get use to them. read more

Getting permanent make-up is a big decision-- and Cathy from CC Cosmetics really made my decision easy and comfortable. Cathy is very knowledgeable, empathetic, and a great communicator. She's a true artist that took the time to perfect my brows. She's super patient. She even checks-in with me almost daily to see how I'm doing and prepares me for each stage of the healing. If anyone's on the fence on doing brows-- 1) it doesn't hurt! 2) I like to pride myself in being "natural" / "basic" -- NOW I CAN DO BASIC BETTER! 3) I have so much more time and confidence. I lost my brows after my second pregnancy. This is the greatest gift to a mama. THANK YOU WHOLEHEARTEDLY CATHY & CC Cosmetics. See you soon for the touch up. read more

Can I give more than 5 stars?!? Where do I begin... I've been wanting to get my brows done for awhile now and I've been doing a lot of research on the process, healing, etc. Everyone is getting licensed to be a microblader so it was hard to find someone trustworthy and genuine. I found CC on Instagram and after doing some thinking, I decided to take the risk and get my brows done! I know it's a bit pricey but honestly it was the best decision ever and so worth it!! I got the ombré powder brows, which is a lot softer look than microblading. The whole process probably only took 3 hours. Around 1 hour to draw your brows and then 2 hours for the actual shading. Cathy was very patient and made me feel comfortable. She put numbing gel on my brows so I barely felt anything. Even after the numbing gel wore off, I didn't feel any pain that was intolerable. She gave me some ointment for a couple days right after and some Vaseline as well. The healing process went very smoothly. It looked soft and natural by day 10! I will be going in to get my touchup next week just to make sure it lasts longer and doesn't fade as fast. But I'm so happy that I went to Cathy and trusted her with my brows! Now I don't have to worry about doing my brows ever again!! read more

I don't get my lashes done unless I'm going on a trip, but Emily is my lash giiiiirl!!! It's such a relaxing session with her, she's so thorough and I love my lashes every single time! Service was very quick. I waited for my girlfriend patiently. They attended to her very fast and one thing I enjoyed is whenever we go to a nail salon for a pedicure or manicure you hear a lot of unknown language. It was different here, everyone spoke English and made sure you felt comfortable. Location is great and a ton of variety. Will definitely come back. They seem very confident and have crafted the business very well. read more

I got my eyebrows done about 5 years ago by Cathy. Best decision eva! I have recommended CC cosmetics to my colleagues at work and even family members. Cathy has not failed me at all! All of the people I referred are far more than happy of her work. Recently, my mother in law got her eyebrows done by Cathy. My MIL was amazed at how detailed she is- which she appreciated. She walked out a brand new woman. We live in Daly City, and we don't mind, at all, the drive to CC cosmetics. It is worth the $$$ and time. Cathy and her staff are all professional and well trained. Highly recommend CC cosmetics read more

Loved my facial with Katie! She took her time and explained what I can do to continue to improve my skin. Her attention to detail, care, and passion for skincare really shows. I booked my first ever lash lift/tint with Katie during their promo and it definitely did not disappoint! I'm a busy, working mom and anything that can get me a few more minutes of shut eye is priority. Came in for a model facial and I loved it so much. Katie was super nice and gentle with my face. She was patient and definitely knew which products to use on my face. I usually go next door to get my pedicure so I love how they are next to each other. read more

I've been coming to Brittney for over a year now. With every visit, she makes sure to take her time with her work and does a thorough job of making sure I'm comfortable and okay as she is working on me. Not only does she do my lashes and fills, but she also ombré-tattooed my brows last year and they came out amazing! I've referred 3 of my coworkers to get their brows done by her, and they all loved her work. She is very responsive with scheduling appointments and her prices are very reasonable. The shop itself is very cute and modern, and the whole staff is so friendly. Looking forward to trying their nail salon right next door as well! read more

Obviously the place looks really nice. It was really clean especially considering I went late on a Saturday! I got a refill, the lady was super quick, did a great job and checked regularly if I'm happy without all the usual small talk which I'm not a huge fan of. She managed to get a really good coverage a pretty sheet nail color. I'm back for a fill and the pedicure was a last minute addition, but one of the best pedicure service I've ever received from a nail salon. Outstanding care and very gentle touch by Emily, even though I'm very ticklish lol. However, my fill was better than expected!!! Omg, Theresa was my nail tech again and she's so amazing. Down to earth personality and very informative about the process. I wanted to try something new I found on Instagram in another state, and man, she did a damn good job! My mom got her eyebrows corrected here after a bad micoblading job. She was happy with the result but the brow artist did show up late.

I LOVED my lashes! Cathy made my first experience so great! She answered all my questions, made sure I was comfortable, and she mixed the lash set so I could get the look I wanted. She was really diligent in her placement and asked in the end if there were anything I wanted to change or add. I went on 2 week trip to Thailand/Vietnam and through the humidity/water from the beach, my lashes lasted through my whole trip! I would definitely do this again for any vacation or occasion that you'd want do minimal make-up. UPDATE: 08-26-19 I also got my brows done with Cathy. Again, she was great about answering all my questions and took the time to show me what my natural brow shape was and tailored it to how I normally would shape them. Since I have combo-dehydrated skin, she recommended doing ombré powder. I'm REALLY happy with how it tuned out after it healed and can't wait to go back for a touch up! read more

If you're looking for an excellent lash mentor, then seek Cathy at CC Cosmetics. Her in depth course breaks down the intricacies of lashing into an easy to understand, 2 day session. What really surprised me was how comprehensive the course was. Cathy takes a lot of care into explaining the techniques employed in lashing and relating it to everyday concepts you can digest. She'll give you the what's to know about the industry, what works for her, and what can work for you. She'll also give you the heads up on the pitfalls of the lashing industry and how to avoid them. I felt very comfortable with her overlooking my work and providing the much needed support. Lashing is a difficult skillset and takes tremendous practice, but Cathy definitely gives you the tools, guidance, and support needed to succeed. The lunch she provides were also much appreciated. read more

A M A Z I N G SERVICE ALL AROUND. I've been going to Cathy since September of 2017. I found her promoting her work I believe on Facebook and at the time I've never experienced any type of eyelash extensions. Cathy is very professional, understanding, caring & most of all, an all around super big hearted go-getter when it comes to her business. This woman thrives on trying to fit all her clients into her schedule no matter how busy, or little time she has for herself! There has been time & time again when I was newly getting into lash extensions that I would never pre-book my refills and she would absolutely work around mine & her own schedule just to help get me in! Talk about hard work & d e d i c a t i o n to her top regulars! I love her work so much I even placed my trust in her to work magic on my ombré powered brows that we previously done by someone else! Environment of her shop; is absolutely B E A U T I F U L and sparkly love the coco channel theme & her cute fluffy dog coco! The wall of paper flowers by the door as you walk in should really been acknowledged because i think there about over a trillion flowers on that wall and every inch of that flower wall looks fantastic and perfectly put together.. Cathy, her team and family work extremely hard to make and keep the shop stay poppin! I would highly recommend getting your lashes & brows done by Cathy. Check her and the other lash tech workers work out! You won't regret it, I even took my little sister to get lashed by Cathy & I believe one of her lash tech worker by the name of Melissa did a refill on her too! My mom is up next yall! They have had a soft opening for a month now and grand opening is September 30th with a HUGE GIVEAWAY!! Check out their IG account for more info. I came to see Omi for a microdermabrasion facial. My skin was looking dull with fine lines. Per Omi, I also have sun spots! Her hands are so gentle. I've never had a great experience with extractions until I met her. I even told her I dreaded that process so much. I also opted to add the anti aging high frequency. I know I had a great experience when I saw the results for myself. I looked lighter.. mind you, all that dead skin cells are gone and you're left with softer, younger looking skin. I also had minimal redness. Coming from my sensitive skin, I thank you, Omi!!
