I have never written bad reviews about any business but my experience at this nail salon was the worst ever. I found this place on Instagram and I really liked the designs they had and decided to give it a try (worst mistake). This is what happened 1- I had called the day before to make an appointment with Joe but when I arrived a random person was told to do my nails. 2- I sat down and asked for a specific design that I had seen on their Instagram and was told that nobody knew how to do that design. 3- Then a guy sits down to do my nails and in the process he says that I need to do a new set for the design I wanted. I said okay and as he is removing the powder from my nail (w/ an acrylic tip) he rips off half of my nail and says it's okay. I told him to stop and that I was not going to get my nails done anymore. Ok wtf Ken is SO good!!! He's so young, but so incredibly talented. He removed my old set and did a new one within an hour and a half. The whole process, I was amazed at how skilled he was. I came in here excited to try your nail salon because a few of my friends come here. I first tried calling the day before and got hung up on. So I tried again the same morning and again got Hung up on. I thought it was my service so I went in. They sat me down for pedi first and I wanted a fill. The pedi was the most painful and awkward experience. She cut me and I was bleeding on the second toe and she ignored it until I said something. I know they were busy but each customer deserves the time and respect. I paid and even left a tip because I feel bad. I walked out extremely anxious and unhappy. I then looked at my toes and felt even worse. Me or my friends will not be coming back here, except to get my pedi fixed or my money back. I was able to return later that day and they redid my pedi after calling and complaint. If you're looking for a warm, friendly comfortable nail salon this is not the place. They don't speak English well and they never welcome you or greet you. They don't offer water or snacks. I tried the first guy on right my nails lifted. I want to say that Tam does a good job however his work ethics are horrible. TWO times I drove clear across town to come into our "scheduled" appointment where he no showed and once double booked. and one of those times my friend drove from Morgan Hill to met me there for our scheduled pedicures. No apologies or anything. Bad customer service. They don't send reminders and they aren't bubbly or a happy crew. JOE and the ENTIRE STAFF were amazing but Joe? He really did his thing. I came in wanting a set with some red rhinestones and at the end of the set I unfortunately was not happy with the red rhinestones. I was going to leave a bit unhappy but joe didn't want that. He happily and willingly redid my ENTIRE set with no if ands or buts. Most salons would have turned me away but he really wanted me to leave happy. She was doing my pedi she was all nice at first then at the end when I kept asking her to fix my shape, she got mad and was saying bad things. Found this nail salon on Instagram and thought they did amazing nails and wanted to give it a try. My boyfriend and I walked in and asked for a mani pedi for the both of us. The first thing that made us uncomfortable was the faces and jokes they would make once they found out my boyfriend was also getting one. They started with my right away but left my boyfriend in the dust. There was 3 people not doing anything who could have easily gotten my boyfriend's pedicure started. I asked for a French manicure and she messed up and has to redo it all over again. The worst part was the actual nails. My nails had glue and acrylic all over my fingers left. Some nails are awkwardly longer than others. The nails are bumpy and uneven. The design looks unfinished. Soo many things wrong and I kept finding more and more mistakes the longer look. My boyfriend asked for black nails with a simple design on one nail and they all told him no. Instead they put a sticker on his nail as the "design" and it looks ridiculous. They cut him up, they missed lots of spots so you can still see his real nails, the paint it bumpy and uneven, it's already peeling off even though he got gel. Everything was a mess. They obviously had judgements about a male doing their nails but you should still treat them properly and ensure the finished product comes out great. We paid nearly $200 and stayed for about 2 1/2 hours to leave very disappointed. I would not recommend going here. read more

Only reason i'm giving this place a 2 star is bc Tam's work is actually pretty good. Prices are reasonable as well! Tam did my nails two times when he was working at home. I completely fell in love w his work because he took his time to shape my nails & to do the designs. weeks after he opened his salon, i contacted him saying i wanted to book an appointment w him so he booked for 2pm. he started working on my nails on the dot but 10 mins later , another client is saying she has an appointment w Tam. I already had a bad feeling that someone else was gonna do my nails. Sure enough, someone else starts doing my nails while Tam takes care of his other client.
