I don't understand how a company with like 100 separate 1 star reviews is still even operating, but after they just cost me $1100 today, I need to join the party. This review is from a former employee, and I worked there from about October 2020 through September 2021. During that time, it was OK, and sometimes I went to rent a truck for William Clark, the owner at the time, and I would go over to the U-Haul of Park Hill nearby their lot, which is near 38th and Holly. Now, we all know that the current "owner" of the business, Jim Brand, is going to respond to this by saying that this is Will's fault and Will doesn't have anything to do with the company and blah blah blah... even though "William C" is the person that you see responding to some of these yelp reviews. Anyway, I should've posted a review back in 2021, when the first incident happened (see budget rental screen shots), but after they just cost me $1100 today, I've had enough, and I will do whatever it takes to end up in small claims court with Jim Brand or William Clark. Those are the two owners that I'm aware of for Fantastic Movers. I will find out how to have Fantastic Movers (either Will Clark or Jim Brand I don't care who) served a summons for small claims court, no matter what. They refuse to send me my $1100 on Cash App (thought that would be an easy way to resolve the matter), even though it's clearly documented that they cost me that amount today. If they had any civility and respect, they would just send me my $1100 but no, they don't take any responsibility and they just blame it on everybody else and it's just a never-ending blame cycle. I don't know how it happened five years later like this, but when I went to pick up a U-Haul truck today, for myself, I had an "E alert" on my account. That means my account with Uhaul was flagged and I owed them for what I thought was maybe like an unpaid Toll or something. Nope, they told me that I had about six different transactions in August 2021 in which the funds were returned to the card, and those funds were kept and not paid back to Uhaul. Well, you can see in the screenshots, the card ending in 0659 belongs to William Clark, so William Clark, the owner of Fantastic Movers was able to keep all the money for these Uhaul rentals, I guess because he figured out a way to have the funds returned, like his card bounced overtime (surely some type of scam that he created ), meanwhile, if I ever want to rent with Uhaul again and they don't put a judgment against me, then I had to pay them $1100 this morning. Today on February 14, 2026, I reached out to Will, I reached out to his brother Calvin, & I reached out to Jim Brand and I sent all of them my Cash app and asked them to please send me $1100 because this is because whether they are doing this intentionally or not (pretty certain that it is a scam they created because they knew it would fall back on me if I was the person who actually rented the truck if their card had the funds returned to it, and they did not pay those funds back), they are responsible for this issue. Of course, if you've read the other reviews, they're not going to take any responsibility or accountability for wrongdoing. I will be filing in small claims court against Fantastic Movers, and at that time, Jim Brand can explain how this was William Clark's doing and he's not responsible blah blah blah, and that he shouldn't be held responsible, even though this is all Fantastic Movers doing, and he is the current owner. The incident with budget truck in 2021, if you look in the screenshots of the budget rental, you can see what they did. I was sent as an employee to go pick up a budget brand rental truck for that day, and I gave them my drivers license and used a debit card, only to be reimbursed later on. OK well that's fine, but if you look at the information on the budget receipt, you can see they switched the information to reflect the customer name "Charles littlejohn" and "major moves LLC". So they realized that since my card was on file, they could go behind my back, and extend the truck for like weeks and months and run up thousands dollar tab, then when the truck got returned like six weeks later, my debit card was all of a sudden getting hit for like $3500 and $1700 etc. etc... they extended the rental behind my back and then ran up the tab because they knew my card was on file. It's a very grimy and dumb scam. I've only ever been to budget rental trucks once in my life, which was to get a truck for one day for Fantastic Movers, so it's very obvious what they did. On that one, Wells Fargo did return the funds to me, but I am not allowed to ever rent from budget rental trucks unless I filed a police report. Wish me luck getting these slime bags served their small claims summons to retrieve my $1100! read more

First and foremost, my moving day began on a sour note when the initial mover arrived significantly later than the scheduled time. What was supposed to be a two-person team ended up with one mover showing up, and he emitted a pungent odor of weed, alcohol, and cigarettes. The situation took an even more bizarre turn when, after a bewildering 45-minute wait, the second mover finally arrived, and it became apparent that they didn't even know each other. To make matters worse, it seemed that the owner, Jim, had found this second mover on Craigslist, which left me questioning the legitimacy of their hiring practices. The entire situation had me shaking my head in disbelief. The most concerning part of my experience with Fantastic Movers was the owner's reaction when I tried to inquire about the whereabouts of the second mover. Jim had the audacity to scold me for calling him too frequently, which was utterly bewildering given the circumstances. I was in a time-sensitive situation, needing to vacate my home by the following morning, and it was already 7:45 PM. The last thing I expected was to be berated by the owner for seeking updates on a service I had paid for. In conclusion, my experience with Fantastic Movers was far from fantastic. The late arrival, unprofessional behavior of the movers, questionable hiring practices, and Jim's inappropriate response to my concerns made this move an absolute nightmare. I would strongly caution others to think twice before entrusting their belongings and precious time to this moving company. read more

Fantastic Movers moved me a few months ago and it was amazing. I met Jamie while he was working for another company and he did an excellent job moving my home so when I discovered he now had his own company it was a no brainer. Jamie and Calvin gave me a call 30 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive which I very much appreciated. I think the most impressive thing for me was that one of the tires on their dolly went flat due to broken glass in my parking lot but rather than use that as an excuse Jamie ran boxes by hand to my 3rd floor apartment. They laid down padding for my hardwood floors and protected all of my furniture with pads. They were so detailed oriented they asked me where I wanted each piece of furniture instead of just placing things wherever. The icing on the cake was they did it for 1/3 of what the next cheapest company wanted to charge. Thank you Jamie you guys were fantastic! read more

When I called Fantastic Movers for a quote to have someone help me carry 2 dressers from my garage up 2 flights of stairs William answered the phone. He was very polite and helpful and offered to get me on the schedule the same day and also offered me a competitive price. I made an appointment for a couple days later and on that morning the movers called and asked if they could come early because their first job cancelled. The arrived ahead of schedule and worked efficiently to get the job done even though the dressers were very heavy. They took the time to make sure my furniture and floors were protected which I greatly appreciate. There was no damage to my furniture or house. Overall, I had a great experience with Fantastic Movers and would recommend them to anyone looking for help moving! read more

They wrapped all of my furniture and took extra care to make sure everything was well taken care of. I have several large pieces of art and they took great care of everything. I had a moving company cancel on me last minute and I was in panic over what to do. I'm so thankful that Jamie and his crew were able to help me on such short notice. I sent him a message and he was very quick to respond and get me scheduled for that same afternoon. He and 2 other movers arrived promptly and had my 1 bedroom apartment moved from the 3rd floor to my new home in just under 2hrs. Fantastic Movers definitely not dependable, bad service, and not on time. Several hours late. The two guys Scott and LT were not capable of moving any furniture or appliances. Struggles with lifting all items. If it was not for my family and friends this move would have never happened. They didn't even consider or offer a discount for their tardiness, or the fact that my family and friends did the lifting. Very disappointed in the service and the charge. This company has proven to be 5 stars all the way. Sean , Johnny and Miguel were courteous, hardworking and professional . They took extra care of our belongings . Can't say enough good words about this business. I'm honestly shocked at some of the other negative reviews because my experience was nothing but superior. I spoke with Brittany to set up the move and I feel she did a pretty thorough job in prepping me for the move. My movers were Dell, Eli and Julius and these guys definitely knew what they were doing. Calvin and Zack were awesome! Showed up on time and moved everything quickly and efficiently while also making sure nothing was damaged. Halfway through the move from our old place one of our neighbors came out and asked for their information so they can help her move in the next few months. Needed movers last minute and a friend referred Fantastic Movers. I gave James a call and he was able to put me on the schedule that same day which was a relief. The crew kept me updated on when they would arrive. Once they showed up we did a walkthrough and I showed them everything that needed to go and they got to work. Worked for company. Owner refused to give me a 1099 starting he don't pay taxes. He stole my tools and threatened to have his son shoot me. I have personally heard him cuz out and threaten a customer. Guy thinks he's still in prison. He cares only about himself. Has paid people 25 to give a good review. They never used fantastic toove but simply copy pasted what Jim brand wanted them to say. Guys a crook. read more
