I made an appointment for a fill and pedi. When I arrived I was told that in order to get a fill I had to have shellac polish on my hands. I never get shellac because I like to change my own polish sometimes, and would not have made the appointment if I'd been told this on the phone. Basically they're doing it to charge more for a basic fill. They're also pretty rude as other people have mentioned. I went elsewhere, and would not recommend this place. read more

This was the biggest rush job I've ever had. Friendly people but horrible service. We were literally in and out in 20 minutes. We weren't asked what we wanted, were rushed through with little done, and asked to walk across the floor in bare feet to dry out toes. read more

I just got a mani pedi at Fancy Nails - my first time there. I'm so impressed! Professional, efficient, kind staff and I couldn't be happier with the result! I made an appointment and they were busy, but took their time to make sure everything was exactly right after having to take off my previous shellac from another establishment - they didn't rush. Went here once. I came in with my mom hoping to just have nice girl time with her, so I specifically asked to just sit with her while she got her toes done and then we would both get our nails done. But they kept arguing with me and telling me to come sit down for my nails. I was polite and insisted I was going to stay with my mom. But they continued to argue and made it a huge scene and everybody in the salon was staring. At this point I didn't even want to get my nails done anymore. But since they wouldn't listen, I just went and sat down. I got an average shellac done, and left. They definitely need to improve in their customer service. Basically, not a terrible nail job, but I won't be returning due to their lack of customer service. read more

My mother in law and I went here for Mothers Day weekend and this is now my new nail place. I always get shellac on my nails and they do a great job with it and it looks amazing. They have great colors to choose from and the nail techs are very friendly. The deluxe pedicure is wonderful! They will do the normal stuff but they add the sugar scrub, paraffin wax and then some kind of minty paste that leaves your legs so soft. read more

I have been using this nail shop for several years. Before I settled down, I had tried almost all the nail shops around this area. This nail shop is the best in my opinion although they charge a little more for much higher quality work and materials, not even mentioning they are always very polite and friendly. They remember names of their customers and are very attentive to needs of their customers. I did some comparisons, considering how long my cuticles last each time, the frustrations/pain I had to endure when my nails broke down a couple of days later after they were just done by some lousy shop, and the different pricing between these nail shops. My conclusion is that my nails done by Fancy Nails last much longer and don't break easily. Overall I save money going there. read more

Nail technician had no knowledge of how to remove dip nails, which is fine, but she failed to listen to me when I told her how to remove them and ended up breaking off my natural nail. I spent way longer than I needed to at that salon because they treated dip nails like acrylic. Additionally, my pedicure was garbage. Not worth the money at all. My feet don't feel exfoliated. Dirty practices...everyone was walking around barefoot after and during their pedis. Gel manicure did not look good. My nail polish was uneven and the technician failed to correct the things I pointed out. Will never go here again. I'll stick with MV nails. read more

I have been to 3 other nail salons in the Skagit Valley over the past 15 years. This salon is by far the best. It is clean, there is absolutely no smell, as most salons have the nail product smell, and there is no nail dust every where. The people are so, so nice, and my nails look great! I am so happy I chose this nail salon, and I will be back. I HIGHLY recommend this salon. They do take walks ins, but I suggest making an appointment, as they are busy. They are worth waiting for if you decide just to walk in. They are comparable to other salons in the area on price, but I would be willing to pay more as long as my nails look good. First off, I have been getting my nails done here awhile and never had a problem until recently. I went in to get my gel soaked off to give my nails a break. Instead of soaking them off they uses a steel burr (the ones they use on acrylic nails) to grind off off the gel. Straight down to my natural nails. She even burned my nails a couple of times grinding away. I didn't know it would be a huge deal until I went to another nail tech. She asked how I got huge gouges in my nails. I told her what the nail tech here did and she was shocked. They should have never used a steel burr on my natural nails to take off the gel. I paid $10 to have them fuck up my natural nails. I literally went in there saying I want to give my nails a break because they keep breaking. Now until all of my nails grow out they will keep breaking since they were ground into with a steel burr. read more

Found my new nail place! I moved down here from Bellingham two years ago and have had several sub par pedicures so I gave up and drove to Bellingham to get them. I was in town visiting and thought I would try this place out. Not expecting the best place, but definitely not expecting what I got from the other reviews! They weren't very busy when I arrived, just two women getting their nails done. I asked for a pedicure and was quickly shown to a chair. First, they lady that did my pedicure seemed very preoccupied by something else and talking with the other employees. She kept stopping what she was doing to talk which normally isn't a big deal, but I feel like she skipped a lot of steps like most of the massage on one foot and scrubbing the other one all together. Second, she did a HORRIBLE job cutting and painting my toes nails. I had to real cut and file my nails once I got home because they were just oddly shaped and again, she stopped throughout and didn't start back where she left off. The paint job was very uneven and she didn't remove all of the cotton from when she cleaned my toes with polish remover so it was all bubbly and stringy. Lastly, this place could use a good scrub down. It just isn't the cleanest place. I would suggest going elsewhere!! read more

Buyer beware. My friend and I stopped in because I decided to treat the two of us to a full set of acrylics. When we tried describing what we wanted, we were rushed and felt pushed into getting something quickly, and my friend even was essentially forced to get something she did NOT want because the girl doing her nails refused to listen to her saying no. The job done was shoddy as the underside of our nails weren't very well cleaned out, we weren't listened to/offered to have a particular style we wanted and the tips weren't even put on correctly. There is space around each of my nails as though they've already grown out and I literally had this done about 8 hours ago. Worst $30 bucks a set I've ever spend and will NOT be returning to this place! read more

The staff was very nice and they speak English. The prices are about average but way too high for what the outcome has become. I got shalac on my nails and got a deluxe on my toes. My shalac looked like crap on half of my nails. You can see through some of the color, color on my cuticles, not painted all the way down. My toes looked amazing...until now. And I'm not even a week past when I got them done. They're starting to chip. I picked out colors that shouldn't even chip. I'm very disappointed and will not be a returning customer. They are very busy there and there's no way I'd wait to be seen to have them fix. The place over behind taco Bell across from the mall does a WAY better job. Got a full set. She did not clean up my nail beds or even pushed back my cuticles before gluing on the fake nails. I mentioned this and that it should be done prior to putting on the acrylic, and she said it was too late. Five minutes later she said she would do it for $5 additional dollars. I asked if she could clean up the under part of the nail of any debris from the acrylic and the sharp edges that were not filed down, and she ran her nail under my new fake ones and said done. I have to go to another shop now so they can fix and repaint my nails, which should have been covered with the $45 cost that I endured. I'm sure I could have my granddaughter do my nails and it would look better than what I got. Don't plan on returning. read more

I took my six year old granddaughter here for a pedicure-manicure. The service was very rushed and unfriendly. The pedicure took ten minutes and the manicure was virtually nonexistent. She painted the nails (standing up) while the pedicure polish was drying. No shaping, filing, massage, etc. Also, the nail polish chipped off the next day. Very sub- standard salon.
