This place is beautiful and I like all the services offered however the man who did my pedicure needs some tips. The massage was quite lovely and he was nice enough however he was looking every which way instead of focusing on the service. I was nervous he would snip something that should be snipped. He was rushed and didnt cure the gel polish so it smudged. He also didnt place color on the edges so it looks incomplete. All that for $60 plus tip to me is not worth it. Im willing to try this place again cause they were able to get me in right away but I will request a woman as they might have more attention to detail. read more

I have been a loyal customer of this salon for 16 years, always booking appointments in advance, paying in cash, and tipping generously (around 25%). Unfortunately, since the change in ownership, the quality of service has declined significantly. At my most recent visit, the nail technician repeatedly hurt me during the service and did not apologize or adjust her technique despite it being obvious I was uncomfortable. That alone was enough to make the experience unacceptable. This used to be a place I trusted and returned to regularly, but after this experience, I will not be coming back. read more

For starters, I've been to this location a few times in the past and never had an inherently bad experience there. It was pleasant enough for me to continue going back and I enjoyed the ladies that worked there. However, I'm not sure if there is another client that looks like me and had caused issues with staff or what the case may be, but the man who has the walkie talkie that did my nails tonight stopped me last time and asked if I was "the customer causing problems earlier" and I was clearly confused and told him no. To which he apologized and I told him to have a good night and vice versa. Tonight though, I went back and asked for a simple fill with an ombré and chrome finish. Which apparently was the most outrageous ask anyone has ever made and the first guy said it had to be a whole new set in order to accomplish this (with no further explanation). Then I got passed off to another lady who stopped halfway through grinding down my old set and reshaping the nails to hand me off to the person who I'm assuming is the owner (the same one who had asked me before if I was "causing problems" last time I'd been in) and he finished the set. However, as you can clearly see there is white all over the sides of my fingers from the airbrush where he just told me to wash it off with soap and water AFTER putting on cuticle oil and sending me on my way. PLUS, idk if it's just me, but this chrome finish doesn't look rubbed in all the way. It looks like chunky glitter still where it should just be a shined finish. I just think this place has become much more trouble than it's worth, and I believe I've been treated differently because they think I'm someone else. Which is crazy because they could just look at the name on the appointment slip to prove otherwise, but I'm no scientist or anything. I still paid because ultimately what I asked for was still done, but this shouldn't have been a nightmare to accomplish. I still absolutely love the lady in the shop with the shoulder-length hair (can't remember her name). She's always been sweet and done a great job. Never had to worry about mediocre work from her read more

I've never in my life actually got an infection from a nail salon before coming here. Not only are all of my nails a different shape and he cut my big toe nail weird and lopsided. I literally have pain and an infection on my toe!!! See picture circled in red. My friend and I were questioning the cleanliness of the place, I should have walked! I don't think they clean instruments between people. There was a cut toe nail in the basket holding the instruments that wasn't mine :( I'm so disgusted I'll never be back read more

I called for a full and they made an appointment very smoothly!! Came in and was greeted with smiles and laughs!! Annie was the lady who helped me and she made sure to communicate what I wanted and that she will be able to fix what other nail salon competitors did badly on my last set! She talked to me about their pricing and how for what I paid at another salon was crazy and they wouldn't charge or do the low quality service l had previously gotten and my other salon! Renovations were made to the inside and it completely set the mood and you couldn't tell you were at some little nail salon in Skagit!! Absolutely obsessed and very grateful for Annies work and will be a returning customer!!! read more

I booked an appointment and asked for a simple fill - when I drove to my appointment and arrived they let me know I cannot do ombré nails (nude-pink) with gel. I was told I could do one color all over nails or leave. So I got up and left - absolutely lazy and SO rude. This was my second time coming here and I will not be coming back. If you want lazy rushed service this would be the place- I have never been told I can do only a simple color or I can leave the salon. Absolutely unbelievable! read more

I like this place. Atmosphere is nice. Salon is kept up and clean, I really don't smell the acrylic at all. I have terrible nails that are very short and super thin. Most nail techs get very frustrated and try to upsale me a lot. I can't have long fake nails as I am in the construction industry. I go here because they have not once tried to upsale me then get irritated when I say no thanks. read more

Made an appointment after calling and asking if they do Hot Gel, Gel Overlay or Gel X. They said yes they do them. I booked a nail and pedicure. I got there for my appointment and they told me they don't do Hot Gel, Gel Overlay it Gel X. I was very upset. I realize that aren't up on the latest technique. Very few Salons do it up here in Burlington. The Spa was beautiful. I had a nice pedicure. The girls were all very nice. I suggest the girls take a course on these new nail techniques. You get more money. They go for $80 and up! read more

Very disappointed in my pedicure. I smudged the polish putting on my sandal. Jessie just added another layer of polish. It is NOT smooth, actually very amateur looking. I was so upset, I didn't want to go back. No wonder this place is not as busy as it used to be. No quality! read more

THIS IS THE BEST MY NAILS HAVE EVER LOOKED. staff was so kind and amazing, my nails look exactly like the inspo pic, although we started 30 minutes later than my appointmen. TOTALLY WORTH IT. i will be coming back every time read more

Pros: the technicians are very kind Cons: POS system is faulty (which they've blamed on their wireless connection - you own a business. Do better). Their card terminal confirmed my transaction on a Sunday, however a receipt didn't print, so they told me it didn't work and they needed to run my card again. I said, but it said confirmed, and they insisted on running my card again. So they ran it a second time. It didn't work that time, it threw an error message. They insisted again that it didn't work, even though I could see it on my banking app. They then asked for another card to run. I regretfully ran a different card, and a receipt printed that time. They had run my cards for almost $300 at this point for 3 manicures with gel polish. I was then told if the charges both went through to come back on Tuesday to get one refunded. This meant time out of my work day to return to the salon and get this fixed. Of course both charges hit my accounts, so I had to go back today and get one of them refunded. Which she said would take 3 days to go back to my card. Additionally, it's been less than 48 hours and both my nails and my daughters nails have started to chip. I've never had gel chip this fast. Lessons learned, do not go here for gel nails, and if you absolutely must, pay cash. I will not be returning and will be telling everyone I know not to go there. read more

The expensive pedicures are so rushed. I remember the days when a pedicure would be a full hour - with an amazing massage. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore (at any salons). A few of the gals there need a few lessons in 'personal service'. Being rude to customers is a daily event there, with no concern if the customer returns or not. I will probably continue to go there, due to not finding a salon that seems to be better in this area - which is pretty sad! read more

If I could leave no stars I would!!! I went in Saturday morning and asked if anyone was available to do a fill-in, but they were busy, so was asked to come back at a later time, but I had to go to work. So I called this morning(Sunday) around 11:30 to see if I needed to make an appointment for today and was told that Sundays were "first come, first served" no appointment needed, so I told the lady I would be on my way to get a fill-in. Well when I get there, there are two nail techs in the front, and one of them is working with a customer. So I asked the other nail tech if she was able to service me and she says "No, I'm waiting 15 minutes for another customer!" How is that "first come, first serve" service when I showed up before the other customer??? The nail tech then proceeded to tell me not to wait, and asked me to come back @3pm! Like why should I wait 3 hours when your place of business isn't busy at all?! Very upset and disgruntled customer, and I won't be back. I would not suggest anyone else visit this place of business! read more

By far the WORST nail salon experience of my life. I went in for a full set of acrylics and a man did my nails (not sure of his name). He did not clip my cuticles. He did not file, clip, or buff my natural nails or apply any product before slapping nail tips on while gluing my fingers to the nails. They did not have me wash my hands at any time during the trip, even after buffing and grinding down the acrylics, leaving dust all over me. He did not compare each nail to the others, leaving them uneven. Then proceeded to leave paint all over and my fingers glued to the nails. Asked how I was paying in the middle of my service. Did not follow with any sort of oil or lotion and then proceeded to motion to the highest tip option when I paid. read more

This was only my second time here. The first time wasnt HORRIBLE but not great. Service is not very friendly but they did a good job on my nails so I didnt really care. THIS time, I waited 25 mins to get a pedicure after they said they could get me right in. The only thing they said to me in the very beginning was 'pick a color' then I proceeded to wait 25 before anyone came over. From the beginning the guy was a little rough. He poked me so hard with the cuticle cutter, I actually said OUCH out loud. Literally moments after that, he was using the callus remover and took a big chunk outta my toe causing it to bleed for 30+ mins and going thru 2 bandaids. The ONLY saving grace, the guy was super apologetic and you could tell he felt bad. It was hard to be mad at him bc he was so sweet about it. They still charged me full price and my nails didnt look very good. I will never go back. read more

I went to nail masters on Sunday for a pedicure. I tried calling to make an appointment but the phone did not seem to be working so I decided to go there anyways and see if they had time to do a pedicure on me. This was the second time I've been there, the first time was a very good experience I had the same thing done and my pedicure lasted me literally an entire month with no chipping or anything this time around is different as you can see in the pictures. They were pretty busy and I would have been very understanding if they said they did not have time right now I would have came back instead they took me in I waited about 30 mins until someone started on me then for her to rush and now my pedicure looks like I've had it for weeks only to have it for two days. Very disappointed! read more

This is the best mani/pedi I've had in a while--possibly ever. Louie did my acrylics, and I cannot say enough good things about this man. So nice, they do an amazing job, never going anywhere else again. read more

Master Nails in Burlington-Very disappointing. I went back in Phase2 and one day the place was packed. No social distancing-none!.I made my appointment online and when I got there, it had not recorded. Wouldn't have stayed anyway with it so full. I called the manager and he said, "we have plexiglass up" So? Only the technicians were behind plexiglass for manicures. None at the pedi stations. Another time I went in, the manager was not wearing a mask and I had to tell him put it on. This week, I called and made an appointment and the man who took my call did not put my name and phone number on the appointment sheet. I got there and my technician was not there. They had no way to contact me even though I am in their system. I loved Sunny, my manicure-pedicure tech. She is the reason I moved to Master Nails. She is gone and so am I. Good work by employees-lousy management. Too bad. read more

During our visit we were asked ELEVEN times whether we wanted to pay cash or not, and if so we would get a discount. I stated I didn't have enough cash and would be paying via credit card each time I was asked (by the same person.) As we were leaving I handed the technician $20 as a tip, he walked us to the register, rang us up and when the screen prompted for a tip, he reach over and went to push the tip button and I slapped his hand away, telling him we gave him a tip already. After getting home my girlfriend's cuticles all began to bleed profusely. We cleaned that up and they soon stopped, then just a day later the polish began to chip off. We won't be coming here again, and will be advising friends and family to go elsewhere too! read more

They've got my vote! You save $2 for every service if you pay cash. My husband got a pedicure and I got a manicure so we would have saved $4. The location needs o be corrected. They're actually by Super Mattress and not by Men's Warehouse. We called to book an appointment for 5:45 pm found the place after we'd given up looking for it an hour later. They were still willing to service us and Van took his time and did a great job. My husband loved the effort they put into his pedicure as well, regardless of how near it was to their closing time. Overall, I give them two thumbs up for customer service. The salon was also clean and had a great vibe. read more
