This is the best nail place! Kathy is so precise and very sweet. I highly recommend Fancy Nails!

Never left a "pedicure" with heels looking like this before

Not so fancy. Pedicure is less than 2 hours old. Heels look worse than when I went in. Back home the do an xfikiatiin and my heels are beautiful. She tried to sell me. A $48 foot cream.

I booked a mani/pedi the same day and not only were they able to fit me in, but they stayed open 30 minute later to make sure it was a perfect. I had such a great experience. While I wasn't sure what I wanted, as soon as I found a design on Pinterest she was able to do it -- no questions asked! I will be back without question. Thank you!

My beautiful sparkly shiny nails!

Oh my gosh, Kathy saved my nails! I was out of town and had a full set. They were awful. Uneven, polish was a mess and you could see how/where the acrylic was uneven. Then I had my first fill at another shop and they didn't fix but just made them thicker. Kathy fixed them! They looked beautiful and they were thin, smooth and the gel polish was perfect! I've been goin there ever since. Kathy is answer woman and she takes care of her clients. Her mom does pedicures and I love when she does mine. Very relaxing when she's done and my toes always look great! My recommendation is five stars.

While on a romantic getaway, I broke my nail. I called up fancy nails and they were available to see me within the hour. They were also available to give my husband a pedicure as I got my nails fixed. The ladies were so wonderful, so sweet, and so helpful. We decided to takeoff my old set of nails and replace them with a fresh new set and they were absolutely gorgeous. I live nearly two hours away but I am considering making a day trip to go get my fill next month.

Best place in town, I love going to Kathy! She does a great job and always so welcoming. Love the outcome every time I visit her!!!

Custom cherry blossom nails

Both Kathy and her mom were very nice, patient, and helpful. Especially considering this was my first time getting acrylics and had no idea what to expect. This was a great experience and I will be coming back! Thank you for my cherry blossoms Kathy! :)

The pedicure was okay, but the polish really was bad. I waited 24 hours to put on shoes and it still got messed up. That's old polish.

So there's less drugstores now and they're not as abundantly staffed anymore. But this Walgreens in Belmont is one of the best. Less wait here at the pharmacy , especially compared to other very locations on El Camino in San Carlos or Mountain View. Very clean store too.

And yes, I've used Shutterfly which isn't all that amazing to be frank. I wanted to print out my parents' main wedding photo to replace the damaged in the last 50 years. It was done in an hour and it was as good as it could be. I did some more touch ups and reprinted another copy - it's just so convenient, versus having to wait for Shutterfly to mail and pay for shipping. I also printed out photos at a different Walgreens and the photo size was actually not correct. So I plan to reprint the photo at this location. One worker kind of didn't acknowledge me when I came in - it would have been appropriate for her to say, "Hello, someone will be with you in a minute" then yell out, "Harv! A customer is here for you!". Someone did come in about a minute regardless. A different person was working the next morning and she helped me out right away. So regarding the photo service - I recommend using services like this one at Walgreens to ensure that Shutterfly does not become a monopoly and to ensure in-person services stay a thing. Why print photos? Because photos are curated and placed with thought. Towards the end of my deadline, I found I could use a photo taken from an airplane above the clouds and I used it as a full spread. If I had only known, I would have done much more fancier things. Going through albums as a family is another way to get junkies off their screens. Talkin' to you, mom! EDIT: Came back here to print more photos. There's usually a sale, so make sure to check the website and enter the codes before purchasing. It's not the most advanced system, but it works. I'll have to reprint more photos, since the 4x6 is not always compatible with the size on my iphone. But the prices are definitely cheaper even with inflation than printing photos in the 1990s at Walmart.

(omg) YESSSSSSS. Every city I go to, I visit their zero waste stores - largely because they stock the best new organic cosmetics entering any global market. And yet, even after traveling, the most elite sustainability options can all be found here at home in the Bay. Honestly this might be one of the most chic and comprehensive zero waste stores in the world. Top 3 at least!

I did buy some liquid hand soap that smells really good! My issue is with the prices. You would think that buying essentially "bulk" product without containers would be cheaper, but no. My hand soap refill cost more than the original soap I had bought in the dispenser. Even still, I later wanted to go back to refill my laundry detergent to avoid buying another giant plastic tub, but, come to find out it costs over 3x more (!!) than just repurchasing the tub. I feel I could justify a small price increase to help the environment and support a small business, but I just can't justify paying 300%. Really sad because I really want to support zero waste, but, life is already so expensive. If they could find a way to lower prices, I'd become a regular.

Everything from organic homemade chai with organic homemade cashew milk, and delicious juices from the apple ginger to carrot and a delicious green drink I had last week. Everything taste super delicious and she uses no sugars. Everything is organic. The best part was when she told me the story about her produce, she sources all her food locally with her daughter, every single fruit or vegetable that enters her shop, they hand pick it with love. I don't know any other juicer in Sonoma County who's doing this, but it is pure magic, and definitely next level healing. She generates love in her relationship with each farmer, and then she gets back to her shop and juices every juice herself, fresh. This place is spacious yet cozy, clean, its certified organic and the vibe is a place where I could bring my girlfriends, hang out and enjoy wellness Beauty and be pampered all while drinking a delicious drink and enjoying a great snack. I'm so grateful to find this gem and even more, someone who is knowledgeable, ethical & who can cut, style & dye my hair! Plus she can book you a facial and give you a delicious high vibe organic drink too,is there anywhere else to go? Stop what you're doing and make an appointment now, you will not regret it. We definitely need more women like her in the world.

Now I am finding the same bad quality of service or "don't care attitude" at Walgreens. Phoning them is impossible and if they answer they are grouchy or they disconnect you. I mentioned that I had received a call yesterday saying my medicine would be ready by the end of the day and that I was hoping to get an update. His response was something along the lines of, "So you're here for a pickup?" in a tone that felt unnecessarily rude. I tried to brush it off and continue, but things only got worse. George told me I had already picked up the medication, which I had not. When I clarified, he said I must be referring to another prescription I'd previously picked up. I explained that this was for a completely different medication, but he insisted they were the same, which they were not. It felt like he either didn't want to listen or didn't care enough to check. Then he repeatedly insisted that I needed to show my physical insurance card, even though I'm a regular customer and my information has always been on file. I eventually drove home to get the card, only to return and be told that I now needed to call my insurance company because my information "didn't match." After calling my insurance company while another pharmacist assisted him, we discovered that George had been entering my health plan ID number into the RX ID field, which was causing the issue. Finally, after all of that, he told me to come back in 30 minutes when my medication would be ready. I understand that mistakes happen, we're all human, but what made this experience so unpleasant was the complete lack of grace, courtesy, or accountability. The entire interaction felt as though I was being blamed for errors that weren't mine, and even after it became clear the mistake was on his end, there was no apology or acknowledgment. Mind you, I was ironically correct to have started the interaction with a request for an update as it turned out my medication what not in fact ready for pickup. This experience left me feeling disrespected and exhausted. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, as kindness and good communication go a long way, especially in healthcare.
