Wow. Mikes Tree Service is the real deal…read more Looking for hard working, honest and knowledgeable tree trimmers? Look no further than Mike's Tree Service. We were so impressed by Mike the owner we didn't even bother to get a second estimate. He was honest, affordable, professional and eager to earn our business with common sense knowledge how to make an unhappy tree into a happy one. Today the Mike's Tree Service team showed up on time and dove in. Two tree climbers with ropes and chain saws expertly cut off the dead but made sure to prune around what's still thriving. Another team member stood below piling and tirelessly discarding the branches. They even cut up the larger logs for firewood and stacked them behind the garage. Ian the supervisor was cleaning our neighbors yards of the debris ensuring their yards were spotless. And...I told owner Mike that my newly designed flower garden needed to look exactly like it did before they arrived. Not a single plant was stepped on. Mikes Tree Service team left my yard cleaner than they found it. They even swept the street. Wow.

He was prompt in showing up to cut down and remove the dead trees. He came back very early in the morning to do the stump grinding. We were still sleeping, so unable to go out and check on work. We paid him additional money to do this, even though the original "contract" included grinding the stumps. His employees broke a drain pipe when wheeling the dead tree to their truck. He said he'd come back very soon and fix it. It is now June and we have not heard back from him. When we try to call him, his voice mail is full! We had a new landscape firm provide us replacement trees and do the planting. They charged us an extra $100 per tree because Jimenez Tree Removal did not grind the stumps the way they should have - they only went down a few inches. Our drain pipe is still cracked. We do not recommend hiring this company - they will over charge and not do the work they promised.
