They wouldn't even come down and look at them. When I would tell them of a concern or a problem they would first consult attorneys and try to determine liability.... Has the world really come to this? I guess so! Unless they are near your hometown I would not work with this group. They are only about getting in and getting out. Communication is very poor and fixing problems is almost impossible. Customer service is not a focus with BVB General Contractors.

Unlike other contractors who bid on the same job, Trinity carefully examined the issue to understand possible root causes, and then talked me through exactly what they would do and why it would prevent the issue from returning. Trinity's bid wasn't the cheapest, but their reputation and communication made me much more confident in the investment, and I'm glad I chose them over the cheaper options. I highly value communication in a job like this, and Adrian exceeded all my expectations. He talked me through all the options, and shared regular updates about the start date and what to expect. Both spaces desperately needed upgrades, and after researching local contractors and gathering several bids, A2Z Builders stood out with a reasonable estimate that fit my budget. I chose them because I wanted Architectural Digest-level design and craftsmanship -- and they delivered. The basement stairs were in rough shape: worn carpet, damaged treads, scratched baseboards, cracked drywall, and poor lighting. I asked for something artistic to replace the eyesore, and they created a beautiful, striking transformation. For the master bathroom, I wanted heated tile floors instead of carpet, a refinished vanity, wallpaper removal, and repairs to water damaged drywall. The results are stunning. Every visitor who sees the remodeled bathroom and stairs responds with an enthusiastic WOW. The entire team was courteous, professional, and genuinely invested in bringing my vision to life. Understanding the circumstance, but also willing to wait for the right team, I responded and asked the business to let me know if that changed in the future, as we have several projects in our home and are hoping to bring the same team aboard for all of them. I then received the attached response offering a completely different explanation than before. Rather than acting with integrity, the business elected to tell a lie, as the project was likely not lucrative enough for them. I made no reference to my budget, but the business assumed I would not be interested in paying their prices. I would like to offer a two-star rating, though, as the communication was quite prompt.

I called Mark in the morning, and he gave me a 1PM appointment. 15 minutes before the appointment he called to inform me he was on his way, and he arrived on time. After inspecting the damage and giving me a couple of recommendations, we went with the quick and economical option. Then he started immediately. While he worked he kept the area clean, and cleaned up after. He went over his estimate by about 15 minutes but only because he was unable to salvage the trim. Otherwise, it's almost as if nothing happened. I'm quite satisfied with the results and the quick response, and all at a very reasonable rate.
