Brothers Restoration

What a disaster. I had a pipe burst in my basement and luckily heard the water running and…read moresplashing all over the carpet when I came home from work. In a panic I called Brothers Restoration as a co worker had said they werer very polite and had removed mold from her home recently. I originally spoke with Luke on the phone and told him what was hapening, he said that he could be there in an hour to get the water damage under control and to turn off the main water valve downstairs. Brothers arrived and had me sign some paperwork to begin, they brought in lots of equipment quickly and began extracting the water immediately. They told me it would be in my best interest to file a claim on my insurance because the carpet padding and baseboards were soaked and they said mold could settle in if not removed and replaced. They worked downstairs for about 5 hours then came upstairs to explain the next steps and how long fans and their dehumidifiers would remain on. Luke and his brother Keith were very courteous and never talked down to me, they handled evrything from Insurance paperwork to getting us a new ceiling and carpets replaced. I believe that these guys are a great example of small business in Colorado and I would not hesitate to reccomend them. Five Stars because they genuinely cared about getting my home back to normal after the water damage was dried out.

Puroclean Disaster Response

Puroclean Disaster Response

There's a reason why Puroclean gets five star reviews!…read more After a burst pipe caused two waterfalls coming from the ceiling directly into our spare bedroom the first week of winter vacation, I gave Puroclean a call to help with cleanup after realizing I was way over my head and seeing their reviews on Yelp. Although they were busy with many other burst pipe cleanup calls due to the extreme cold weather we had just experienced, Chase was at our home within an hour of my initial call. He immediately put my mind at ease and developed a game plan to return things back to normal. Chase and Anthony visited each day for a week to check on progress, move equipment around and gave me updates along the way. They have great communication, always let me know when they would arrive and were absolutely amazing to work with every step of the way. I hope I never need their services again, but in the unfortunate circumstance that I do, I wouldn't hesitate a nanosecond to give them a call. A truly class act company.

We went through our insurance company on a damages and they sent out PuroClean for the estimate…read more The estimate overlooked multiple items that needed repair and they had to go back and forth to readjust which delayed the project. After I had sent the the flooring selection they had attempted (possibly an honest oversight) to install lesser quality flooring in a completely different shade that I had sent them. Had I not caught it, it would have been in stalled. I was given multiple assurances that the project would be finished in time so that our tenant would not be homeless. Needless to say that deadline was not met 4 months after the water damage on a project that was not huge. Communication started great until we started to just be told what we wanted to hear without any follow through. I would not recommend working with this company at all.

Denver Decks - Totally customized for our house and very quality work. This will last forever and so easy to clean in the snow. Just sweep it off!

Denver Decks

Denver Decks just completed the work on our new deck. From the very start to the finish the…read moreproject has been great. The new deck replaced an old wooden deck that had seen it's better days. The understructure of the old deck was beginning to fail and the understructure supports the roof that covers most of the deck. Before hiring Denver Decks to do the job we used AI to recommend good deck companies in the Denver area. We contacted four companies, three responded and Denver Decks was one of those three. Our deck is 17' x 20' and the estimates to do the job were similar. We were promptly contacted and set up a meeting with Paul Koehn from Denver Decks. We met with Paul and quickly realized that he was much more that just a salesman for the company. He had built many decks before moving into sales so his knowledge of what is needed for a new deck was extensive, readily available, and we actually enjoyed discussing our project with him. Paul also indicated that Denver Decks always complies with the codes and permit process that exists for such projects in Denver. One of the companies that we contacted said that they do not pull permits for work in Denver and if something goes wrong during the process it would be our fault! Paul had lots of photos of other projects that Denver Decks had completed. The photo collection was extensive, well organized, and included pictures of stairs, railings, deck surfaces and lights that have been used in other projects. It really made it easier for us to decide what we wanted for our deck. After deciding on what we wanted for our deck the deconstruction of the old deck began and we got to meet/talk with Jay (project manager), Mike (site manager) and Jim, the craftsman for our deck. The communication throughout the project was great! The roof, that covered most of the 17'x20' deck, was supported by three 4"x4" posts that were set upon the deck surface that was supported by two 2"x8" boards on edge. I was very nervous that the aging understructure might fail and drop the roof onto the deck. Denver Decks installed 3 caissons to support the new 6"x6" posts that would now support the roof and 3 added caissons to support the outer edge of the deck. Each cement caisson was 19" in diameter and 36" deep. My worries about the roof falling ceased to exist! After the old deck was removed Jim began to build the new deck. I do not have words that can adequately express how impressed we were with the craftsmanship, construction knowledge and care that Jim displayed in building our deck. The skill that he displayed in all aspects of the construction were amazing and the best that I've ever witnessed in all of the projects that I've ever hired or been around. He built our deck the way that I would've built it if I had his knowledge, skill, equipment and his many years of construction experience! Thank you Jim! Such decks are not cheap and the price for Denver Decks to do the job was similar to that of the company that said they would not pull permits! Building a deck is one of those many situations in life where you truly do, "get what you paid for" and we didn't pay a cent until the job was finished to our satisfaction. Apologies for such a long review but a short review just would not do in this case. Denver Decks did a great job for us and we wholeheartedly recommend them for your deck. They can add us to their lengthy list of references who will be glad to discuss Denver Decks with you for your project! Thank you Denver Decks for a job well done!
