Believe the reviews. These guys are great. We worked with The Little Guy Pavers to redo a patio area in our backyard that was previously made up of crushed granite. After it was taken over by weeds and dug up by our schnauzer a few too many times, it was time to do it right. Cody came out for an estimate and design consultation. He is such a great guy who explains how it all works, gives you a reasonable number of options (helpful for me to not have information overload), and gets things moving. And for the work itself, these guys work hard and nonstop when the job begins. They show up on time and work full speed from morning until evening to get the job done. They build the patios in ways that work for Colorado weather, and they actually specialize in pavers, instead of a landscape company that doesn't do these types of patios nonstop. Paver patios are not cheap, but they're also not something you should do on your own unless you absolutely know what you're doing. Such an all-around excellent experience working with The Little Guy Pavers! Needed a beautiful low lying retaining wall at the dead-end of my street, for a flower bed. Our assigned project manager, Jeremy, was friendly and very professional, had insurance and license info ready at hand when asked, produced a reasonable quote, and did great follow up. The work crew, Freddy and Rigo, were absolutely fabulous.... Neatly and properly dressed, super courtesy while quietly working with the least amount of noise possible, never yelling or blasting music or slamming things around, and they were industrious throughout the day despite the 100 degree heat. These guys were very respectful of the property, demonstrated attention to detail in their work: measuring twice, using levels to make the wall perfect, were careful when moving equipment and product, and when using tools/machinery. They also cleaned up the job site... cleaner than when they first arrived! They didn't damage any plants, and left not a trace of their presence. With other companies and contractors, I have found water bottle caps, candy wrappers, cigarette butts, trampled flowers, bark kicked out on sidewalks, manufacturer stickers/labels laying around from products used or installed, nails or stains left on various surfaces; but this crew of Little Guy Pavers was just the opposite, and just excellent! From the initial consult with Cody, he provided us ample options to explore and gave us an updated sketch with our pavers and design changes incorporated. Richard the onsite PM was always attentive to our input and great at communicating any updates or changes to the schedule. The project had some challenges with a future patio cover that Richard was really accommodating of. The construction crew was prompt and on-time every day, very respectful of the area they were working in. We are super happy with our new paver patio, firepit, and outdoor kitchen. When we bought our house, it came with a really awful deck that I had to demolish. This left us with a dirt (and sometimes mud) pit for several months. After deciding to have pavers installed, I called about 7 different companies. The Little Guy Pavers came out and gave a free estimate of a very reasonable project cost. I'll tell you that it was under $10K and some other companies were quoting me over $19K! This included additional work of removing part of a large stump, an enormous embedded concrete block, and a small retaining wall. The other companies just didn't offer as much. While The Little Guy Pavers weren't the absolute cheapest estimate, they were easy to communicate with and Travis was courteous during his estimates and further scoping. I had a good feeling about working with them. Scheduling the install was easy, however due to the pandemic and time of year, we had to wait almost 2 months for the install. No big deal. An earlier slot opened up and after a few minor scheduling setbacks, work was underway slightly before the initial date. It was smooth sailing from here. In just two days, a few workers were able to perform some serious magic. I can't express enough gratitude to these workers who were out there in the blazing heat doing top-notch work. When we bought our home, the inspector's report said that the paver patio we had in the back had settled and was draining toward the house/foundation. We had several companies come out to give us a quote, but they were either not interested because the job was too small or overpriced which wouldn't allow us to add some extra work we wanted to have done. The Little Guy Pavers came out and immediately told us that this is exactly the type of job they do. We talked through everything we wanted to do, including the additions, and their bid came in right at the budget we had set. They worked around our work and travel schedules to do the walk through and schedule the job. They started the job on time and, although there was a small weather delay, they managed to finish within one week. There was a lot of work to do just to pull the existing patio up, repair it and lay it back down using both new and existing pavers. They even came out the day after a snow/ice storm to continue working. We are more than happy with the finished product. We are really looking forward to adding some new furniture and accessories and being able to use the incredible new space they have created for us. We have a crappy deck in our backyard and wanted to figure out what we might be able to do in order to make it usable (and lovely!) for us and our kids. I reached out to Little Guy Pavers and heard back from Cody quickly. He was able to fit me into his schedule early, since we were trying to gather quotes and make a decision before a month-long trip out of town. Cody arrived early (and sent a heads up beforehand!), and was absolutely lovely to work with. He was friendly, thorough, detailed, and overall obviously quite knowledgable in this work. He took the time to write out a verbal quote for me on the spot and followed up within a day with a written quote as well. Unfortunately we ended up having to select a lower priced bid (for different materials/square footage entirely), but it was a tough call because we could tell we'd get superior quality work with Cody and Little Guy Pavers. No response from LGP... Their mailbox is full and the number I have for last years sales guy is no longer in service. I called to obtain an estimate to add onto the 14x24 patio they installed last year. They did a nice job last year, were quick and courteous, but I have 1/2 separation between two boarder pavers this spring. read more

I was in desperate need of a new back patio. I had been contemplating stamped concrete and had a few estimates. When I wanted to change my plans a little, the concrete companies sort of disappeared. So I let the whole summer pass with a disaster of a back yard. Finally in late August, I called The Little Guy Pavers. I did not get a call back which was frustrating. So I sent a request through Yelp. Apparently my number had been written down incorrectly and Daniel came out on 8/21 to give me a quote. I was under the impression that all I needed was some new sand and the pavers. I was informed of the problems with my back yard and drainage and that the concrete needed to be broken and removed and a new base and drainage installed. So the quote was a little more than I had anticipated but I accepted it. I was told that it would be about a month probably until they could perform the work. Much to my surprise and delight, they were able to start the next week. Three days later I have a beautiful new patio. A few hiccups were encountered along the way, but Travis was on top of the situation and we actually were able to change the color of the pavers and complete the job on schedule. I was told from another company that it was not possible to put a putting green in near the big, old trees in our yard. Because of the trees, we were unable to grow grass. Little Guy Pavers did an amazing job. They leveled the area by building a small retaining wall which made the putting green way more usable. They showed up when they said and completed the job in the time frame they gave me. Everyone was extremely professional! I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to friends. I had a paver patio that had sunk causing low spots a pooling when in rained or snowed. Also had several bricks come loose due to this sinking which made our patio a liability if someone were to get hurt. I researched a few paver repair sites, most claim they will repair patios but in reality they want to rip it out and start from scratch. The Little Guy Pavers, Jeremy made time to work around my schedule and met me on a Sunday to consult. I was not interested in replacing the whole patio, I needed repair work and re-sand. Jeremy gave me options. I was able to choose how much or how little I wanted to repair or replace and I contracted him to do the work. The work was done on my timeline and within my budget. Everything slopes away from the house as originally installed and there are no longer loose bricks or low spots.
