I have now used the Arevalo's for my 4th and largest project - redoing a home's exterior landscaping, front retaining wall, front porch, outside flagstone patio, hell strip planter boxes, outdoor ping pong table installation, watering systems and all the plantings (grass and plants). We had an amazing experience with Gregorio Landscaping. We had sod placed, sprinkler system put in, and 99% of our concrete replaced including new frontThey did it in a week! It probably would have been less than that but we had some rain/ snow which slowed them a day or so. The attention to detail and hard work of their team is unmatched. They take great pride in their work and it shows in the finished product. They even paid attention to the small things and were really responsive to our questions. They work long hours and work hard to make their time worth it. The two guys they have on their team were amazing as well. All super nice guys! They suggested a few additional things to us when they started the job, one of which was routing our front downspouts underground away from the house. Yes please! Their price was amazing compared to other quotes we got (for less work) and we feel our money was well spent! One thing of note: Originally it was difficult to get ahold of them and it wasn't until they started our project that we realized they are not just managing the project, they ARE DOING THE WORK THEMSELVES. Our basement kept flooding so we called Gregorio to grade our yard. The team created a negative slope away from the house, covered it with plastic, then mulched all the way around. The day they finished the grading, there was a major thunder storm, and our basement was dry!! They also pulled weeds and sprayed the areas to stop them from re-growing. They cut down 2 dead trees and cleaned our whole yard! They added metal edging and fresh mulch in our whole yard. It looks like a different yard completely! Gregorio returned my call the same day I called him. He said he would visit my home to look at my landscaping project two days later at 9:00 and he showed up with his son right on time. I needed 8 trees and several perennial flowers planted, removal of mulch, addition of dirt, connection to an existing sprinkler system, adjustment of the sprinkler system, and creation of a flower bed with river rocks. So it wasn't exactly a small job. He let me know he was busy and stayed in touch. After two weeks, I said I couldn't live with the four dead junipers in my back yard so he came out the next day with four workers and removed them in an hour. Then he asked me to wait. No problem. After a few weeks, I said I really needed the work done and literally he came the next day with five guys and spent two days planting the trees and flowers and arranging the rocks. I went to the nursery and helped pick them out. Those guys worked for 12 hours a day. I never saw them resting. The result is gorgeous. Gregorio knows what he is doing. He directed me away from certain flowers I liked. I wanted to plant the maple tree in one place and he said it wasn't a good idea so it went in a slightly different place. He had his workers moving all the time. He's definitely the boss. A true business man. And he is kind and honest. The same is true for his son. His son even fixed my iron fence that has been broken since we moved in ten years ago. Gregorio Arevalo is an excellent businessman: honest with fair prices who is dependable. My fiancee and I had this crew do a complete landscape job at our home late last year. We had 6 crews come give us an estimate and while Gregorio wasn't the cheapest (never go with the cheapest!) him and his son were fair and very competitive compared to the other bids. Originally we were only planning on re-doing the back and side yard but a few days into the project we decided to do the entire property. This Father and Son duo were attentive to what we were looking for and pointed us in the right direction. These guys work their butts off! Showed up on site 3 days early, arrived early/left late every day, worked on a cold rainy weekend, and finished the job on time despite losing a day to snow. The previous owner of our home did a lot of things wrong. They tossed up a fence in a day, backfilled the yard against it, and unleashed dump truck loads full of pea gravel everywhere without borders. This caused a lot of extra work but Gregorio took care of it all. They removed tons of clay, built a retaining wall along two sides of the property, brought in proper top soil, graded, built a cedar fence, landscaped with river rock, built a 7 zone sprinkler system, and put down healthy sod. They just came back today and turned the sprinklers on and let me tell you, it's such an improvement over our last system! Could not be happier! We're not done yet, we'll have them back soon to do some bushes and other plants as time and budget allows. I know this is a long winded review but with all the hard work and attention to detail thier crew gave us it is the least I could do. read more

After purchasing a beautiful new home with a back yard that was about as ugly as they come, I knew I had to do something or the neighbors would show up at my door with pitchforks and torches. Since we had contracted with landscapers in the past I had a good idea of what it would cost and how long it would take - boy was I wrong - but in a surprising, and great way! From the first call, Gregorio was professional and courteous - he came by that night and took a look at the wreck that was my yard and said "I can make this beautiful". I asked him to work up a quote and call me back - the next day he did, and I was surprised that he was so reasonable. When I asked that he stop by again to discuss the proposal he was more than happy to come after hours and outline what he wanted to do - which to my surprise was way more work than I thought was encompassed in the original quote. He even saw that I was building a play structure for my Kids and designed an integrated play area at no additional cost! Did I mention that he did my entire yard - sprinklers, yard leveling, retaining wall, grass, plants, bushes, rock, mulch, and play area in 1.5 days?
