Had to tear up the pavers because they had pool jets that were never piped in, this is how they left it
Jami G.

For the price they charged we expected a much better quality of work. What you get is track home quality. They sub out 90% of the job, a different crew shows up for all the different phases and NO ONE from Family pools EVER came to supervise them or to tell them how the job needed to be done. I should have been added to the payroll because my husband and I had to communicate with every trade, and when you tell them they were doing it wrong they just stated "this is what the print shows" and continued to do whatever THEY think needs to be done. When we were not happy with the work that was done we were told by Paul (an owner) that it was a bad job and that he would fix it, so he sends out the same crews, without supervision to fix whatever they decide to and never bothered to ask us if it was fixed correctly. When we got tired of being ignored we stopped paying and FINALLY got somewhere with him. The list of crappy workmanship is VERY LONG, yes they passed inspections but this is NOT the dream pool I had envisioned, you'd think for 100k you would be extremely satisfied and the work they did still makes me cry today. I stopped asking them to fix and repair because every repair job turned out worse than the original and I frankly just did not want them on my property anymore. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO MY WORST ENEMY! We are in construction ourselves, and would NEVER EVER do the things these guys do. If I could give them NO stars, I would. I would be happy to tell you all the dirty details if you need more information

This was the first build we have done after we have moved into a house. Andrew and the family pool team did everything the could do to make this experience amazing. The consistent communication when needed was on point . I am not easy when it comes to spending money but the cost involved and the quality work was on point. You have a lot of companies to choose from these days . Put your faith in Family Pools they will deliver .

What is the measure of a company? Quality products? Excellent customer service? Timeliness? All of…read morethe above? When a company performs and meets these expectations, do they generally garner enthusiastic praise, or is that considered minimally acceptable? I think the measure of quality in a company is not merely found in how well they perform a service or provide a product. Rather, what happens when things don't go as planned. Integrity matters when things go awry. Absolutely, when a company provides quality materials and excellent service, it should be noteworthy, but when they take customer service seriously enough to mitigate issues of their own accord without any prompting, it alleviates pressure on the homeowner to know that the situation is manageable. Part of that important ongoing process is communication; a well-informed customer is certainly the bane of any mediocre company's existence, but you know you found a top-notch performer when they ensure updates are frequent and well-understood. Such is the case with LaGasse design and the saga that was my pool renovation. I do not trust easily, and from the onset I was comfortable with the representative's knowledge and willingness to recite said information so that I might grasp the finer points. The work ensued and each day I was provided detailed updates. Even with delays (through no fault of anyone, just the condition of the former fiberglass installation), the crews were always communicative and professional. The it happened; the unthinkable. Problems arose after the build completed and I feared I would be left to my own devices. Not the case at all. Steve assured me they would resolve my issues no matter how long it took. That's integrity, and that is why I would highly recommend them to anyone. Doing a good job is praiseworthy, standing behind your work shows integrity and pride. Robin states on their website that they don't have customers, they have relationships. I absolutely believe that to be true. Even though now, my problem is resolved, and despite the many trials to get to this point and Lagasse always resolute in their desire to make the customer content, I am dejected that I won't see Steve and Dexter in my backyard anymore. Not just a quality company, quality people.

Again, if I could give them a Zero I would give them a triple Zero. To all customers that Steven…read moreand Robin Lagasse defrauded and promised one thing but installed another because in tiny letter they had written that instead of Travertine they could send brick, but charge for travertine. Please, my email address is verycken@aol.com. I have an attorney, we are filing criminal charges. I have filed charges with Florida Department of Licensing. Robin was charged with fraud in March 2021 in Sarasota. Steven also has a record. Please get in touch with me so that we can go after them and stop them like Olympus Pools was stopped. Again, get in touch with me. Why be anonymous? They crossed out the payments so that they do not have to do the bonding until the very end. The rusted rebar is coming through the concrete. The plumbing has one pipe 20 inches from the second twisted pipe which is 25 inches from the third one and 10 inches from the fourth one. It is not holding pressure. The six to 8 weeks has become almost one year and he wants me to give him the last payment and trust him that he will bring the equipment and bond the pool. He also cut my brand new solar system above the valves, which he took with him. Run, do not walk, run away from this company.

I wanted to give Cristian a HUGE THANK YOU for helping me find my precious Blessed Virgin Mary…read more pendant in the pool. I was at the Little Dipper in Dell Webb on Saturday and didn't realize my pendant which was my Mother's fell out of my bathing suit pocket. I meant to remove it before getting into the pool but forgot. I didn't sleep all night and got up early Sunday with my husband to go to the pool to hopefully find it. When we arrived your employee was there, which I was surprised but grateful. I explained to him what I lost and he immediately started scoping the pool. He located it in the 5' section and used his net to lift it out of the water. I was so grateful and had prayed all night that I would find my Mothers pendant of the Blessed Mother lost in the pool. I asked him his name and when he said Cristian, I felt like it was a sign from God. Please know that this young man was so helpful, and I will remember him forever. I was so thankful he was there on a Sunday to take care of the pool and help me. You have an OUTSTANDING employee, and he demonstrated his commitment to do his job and take the time to help me and do such a great job taking care of the pool in Dell Webb. I know that he has been with Signet only a short time, but he indicated how much he enjoys his job with Signet and will be a valued employee to your organiztion. Jan Duren
